Awwww I really like Cookie! Our "Cheeto" fires up big time at night too. I can't get my wife to leave him alone tho. Every time she disappears, I find her in the reptile room with her hand in his cage looking at me like a kid that just got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

@@reptiliangarden Thank you! He's a dalmation so it's not really original, but it is an uncommon unique sounding name. I thought Ponyo's name was Pongo the first few times I heard it. Ponyo is a super cute name too.

My first reptile was a crested gecko and it was a baby one and I was so scared because there tiny and fragile but I love my gecko so much I spoil him so much

I think Oakley pooped on ya more cuz she's chill af so she doesn't rly care where she poops. This means she'd be prone to poop on ya cuz your body temp is probably higher than the temp in her tank.

I'm so glad to come across your channel! I inherited 2 baby crested geckos about a month ago. I've never had reptiles before but I feel in love with them. (I was babysitting them while my friend was out of town and they didn't leave. Lol)
I have so many questions. I love these guys and want them to have a happy home.
My biggest question now is how do I get them to be handled? They're really little and I don't want to scare them or hurt them.

My girl is a red bicolor a bit dalmatian and she's gorgeous, when fired down she's light yellow and when fired up she's a brick like color with light brwon back

They're so awesome!! I never thought I'd own any other reptile besides a snake but when I held my first crestie it jumped on my face and stuck to my face and I was like, I guess you're coming home with me. Now I have six and four eggs incubating I hope to get buy curious creatures to pick up some of your geckos to go with my geckos.

Could You Use A Water Bowl For Them? Would Turf Work As Bedding?? What Food Would You Most Recommend For Them??? Do I Need A Live Plant Or Plastic Plant? How Often Do You Feed Yours? How Often Do You Mist Their Enclosures?? Just Wondering Because I’m Getting One
You should definitely do more research before getting one.
You can use a water bowl but they will mostly drink water of leaves, I think you can use turf but when you first get it use paper towels and then i would move on to Eco Earth, I would recommend Pangea and Repashy with live crickets at least one a month, you can use either live or plastic plants live need more requirements though, feed it every two to three days, and try to mist their enclosures at least 2 times one in the morning and once at night, you should defently do at least 3 months of research before you get one though.

Your cresties are gorgeous. My boyfriend has 2 crested geckos and we're hoping they grow big and possibly try to breed them. How have they managed to mot drop their tails, especially with the ones you've bred since I read sometimes the male will bite the female's tail off while mating.

hello. my crested gecko is digging through the dirt we hav in his cage. he also wont eat worms i put in front of him. im concerned something is wrong. any advice??
Ed Ed Your Gecko May be a female trying to lay some eggs! Some geckos are picky about feeders and others just like to eat in privacy. As long as you Gecko is eating the Pangea and pooping it’s nothing to worry about. Try offering fur loaded crickets instead or Dubias

They are so cute! Mine looks just like cookie she’s a female with what looks like the same coloring which i agree I don’t see to much. She also has spots on her just not as many and they are really tiny spots. She hates me though 😂 Every time I try to take her out she makes a noise at me then my fiancé will come over and take her out and she’s more than happy to go with him, literally he can hold his hand out and she will jump into his hands. I always joke about it and say I feel betrayed because she use to be fine with my, I feed her, and do all her enclosure maintenance and just randomly out of no where she just didn’t want anything to do with me anymore 🤷🏼♀️ so now my fiancé has the job of taking her out, I have some areas in my house she enjoys going to for lots of climbing and jumping, 1-2 times a week. We let her decide if she wants to come out so when she wants to be left alone she will just stay where she is while any feeding/cleaning/misting is needed and when she wants to come out she jumps on my finances hand.

Maybe give an artificial tail to the one that lost its tail.
They actually live happy and productive lives with no tails at all (: ! Enthusiasts like to call them “frogbutt”. They can still hop and jump easily after they recover from the initial loss.

They’re both very similar when it comes to personality. Fully depends on the individual animal!

How do you get your geckos to grow faster and what do you feed them
Luke Bray Insects give them the protein to grow faster! You can try gut loaded crickets, wax worms, Horn worms, or Dubias. If your gecko is picky about insects, you can try the insect Pangea formula!
