A few Crestie hacks of my own:
    - *Research your animal*. Find out more about its native environment. Your primary goal is to replicate this as closely as is reasonably possible.
    - Don't be scared of humidity. Cresties are a rainforest species which thrive in 70% humidity. 'Drying out' periods could potentially deprive your gecko of vital hydration, as most hygrometers are inaccurate at reading humidty! Cresties NEED water in order to properly function. Do not relentlessly pursue a false goal of 'drying out' your Crestie tank. Keep it clean and well ventilated.

Andrew Wood geez this comment is a year later okay so, I get scared I don’t wanna spray too much but I also don’t wanna spray too little, doesn’t it matter how much I spray since they rely on water so much?

I need to super thank you for the glass cleaner tip because not only am I prepping for a crested gecko, my aquatic turtles can hardly be seen through the buildup at it's worst spots and there were no tips I've seen so far that I felt comfortable risking it sliding into the water and their eyes like lime or vinegar would do, but this gel that I finally got to try today - not only does it stay where I put it; I could tell the difference quite quickly! It truly made a huge positive impact! Huge thank you!

I've found the easiest way for cleaning out the cap is to actually lay it in the sink, put the plug in and then run your hot water on it, as hot as it goes. Leave it like that while you're taking our your food, getting your scoop, bottles of water, etc. It's cleans it out perfectly and leaves nothing behind!

The peeling off the CGD technique reminds me of when you get PVA glue on your hands and you have to rip it off :P I remember we did this in primary school a lot and most people found it satisfactory; I just thought it hurt!
Have you seen the brand new CGD out? It's by HabiStat and comes in six flavours (banana, mango, strawberry and then each of these again but with crickets)!
I'd try using an Exo Terra compact top for the jungle dawn, you'd just have to make sure that it would fit in it...

Great video as always!!! I do have a quick question. I have a male crested gecko that i've owned for over two years now and i have had him since he was a hatchling. The whole time i've had him he has been extremely tame for the standards of a crested gecko, but for some odd reason he all of a sudden recently he is scared of everything that has to do with me and he is getting to the point where he is hurting himself from running into the walls of his tank or rubbing his face on the wire mesh lid. What i'm wondering is if you have any idea on why he all of a sudden is acting this way, and if you know how i could get him back to the way he was before. I take him out at least a couple times a week if not more. There is a female and another male crestie in the room but he is in his own tank and the tanks are not by each other.

Hi! I have a created gecko that is very young and is very jumpy. When I try to let it climb on my hand or hold it, it always tries to squirm away from me. I'm afraid that it will jump out of my hand and get lost, but I read somewhere that you should take young geckos out for a couple minutes a day for them to get used to their surroundings. Should I wait until they are older to take them out so they feel more comfortable? Also, they go in hiding into a tree for long periods of time and sometimes I can't find them. Is that normal? Hopefully you respond. I love your videos!

He is reluctant to eat them but I've read they are good to the health of a crested gecko. Any replies would be great! I'm wondering if it's force feeding or not.

Ok I have a couple questions first for humidity if I have the zoo med repti fogged does that help with humidity and for them to drink it. It uses distilled water so I don't know if that is safe to drink. And second do they need a big tall tank or can it just be like a 20 gallon long tank? Thanks!! Also great video.

the fogger can raise humidity a bit, but wont give your gecko enough liquid to drink, at all, just slightly vapour, but nowhere near as much as they need - best to stick to spraying the tank :). not sure how big a 20 gal tank is, but you need a tall tank, 45x 45 x 60 cm is minimum for an adult crestie. Thanks :)

Leopard Gecko ok reason I ask that is because sometimes when I spray it it doesn't stay very long and the substrate just takes it all in. I do have the substrate moist as well. Thanks for the tip though

Leopard Gecko also I was wondering if a tank that is 34cm long by 35cm wide by 62cm tall if that will be ok I know you said that it had to be 40 by 40 by 60 so.

I've noticed that using distilled water in my spray bottle will not leave water marks, as the minerals from tap water/bottled water are removed. In case the minerals are beneficial for her health, I still use tap water when making her food and for her water bowl.

use Reverse osmosis water. doesn't leave any hard water stains. I'd suggest spraying down the whole tank to get up the proper humidity spike each night.

Spent a lot of time trying to clean and re-use those soda bottle caps and milk lids. Over time, too much of a hassle. Started to move to sauce lids which are super affordable and are perfect for the them with various sizes.

MoleratGaming apricot and banana, and watermelon and mango. They both like different ones. Don't know what size spoon it is, but on the back of the pack it says how much to use usually. Follow me on Instagram (the face situation lol)

I have a question, I've been wanting to start an ant colony for a while but I don't know what container to put the ants in so they don't get out and do you buy ants from a pet store or what?
