I wonder if you could find an acrylic box that would fit in the bottom of the cresties enclosures to act as a substrate guard against the bottom of the screen for the crested enclosures? that way you can still spray it n such, although it may be difficult to clean. You could also try getting just a small sheet of acrylic and having it cut to size and then sealing it to both sides of the glass that's already on the enclosure with acrylic/aquarium sealant? You'd have to seal it otherwise if you take the lid/screen off the barrier would just fall LMao but just an idea c:

I used a piece of tile on the bottom of my 30 gallon converted crestie tank in order to add substrate. It was a project and definitely not very pretty but just an idea if you don’t want to get the conversion kits.
I love Sunny. She reminds me of my female gargoyle Riven who's an orange super stripe with those same silvery sapphire eyes. Her father has phantom eyes, so she probably will too. Anyway I love the brown and orange contrast Sunny has. Gargoyles are so much fun to handle. My crested, Lucifer, is a flake-o-matic, but Riven is like a queen. Actually I loved seeing all your geckos. Mango too 😻💚💚💚
i've been trying to convince my parents to let me get a leopard gecko or an african fat-tail gecko but they just wouldn't let me :(( so im just gonna watch your vids instead

I’ve been looking for a breeder in my area for the past few months looking for geckos or or or... ended up deciding to go back to our local beardie beeeder we got my lil man from 4 yrs ago cause I just love him so much, I know I’ll love another, AND, we have all the supplies already! So all I have to dish out initially is the adoption fee! Still gonna look for geckos... should be warm enough to ship here in southern BC, dont tell my man! 🤫 🤐 lol

I have both a beardy and leopard gecko and know alot about other geckos. As much as I absolutely love my beardy, geckos are soooo much easier! Especially new Caledonian geckos. I would definitely go with a gecko especially if it is your first reptile or you don't have much time or money to out into a fancy enclosure.

Right now I only have one striped girl and an aberrant striped boy and their two babies who are both growing nicely and being very cute. Do you struggle with feeding insects aswell? I have tried mealworms, locusts, dubias and crickets but my gargs aren't really interested in any insects for some reason. I did trick my girl into eating mealies by getting one between her jaws while she was eating pangea lol. And my boy sometimes likes to eat crickets but overall they just don't want insects.
Luckily, I don’t have any picky eaters. You can feed diets with insects in them for more protein! One of my favorite brands is Lugarti on Instagram. They put Dubias in their mixes!

Good morning! Females will lay eggs regardless of mating, so just always keep a lay box for her in the enclosure! I’m glad she’s feeling better now. 💕💕💕
Great video, question I have a normal leopard gecko. I believe he/she is four months old I’ve had her for two months the problem is she never ever comes out of her warm high or her humid hide. She doesn’t go out to eat in her bowl never seen her drink water or eat any of the calcium. The only way she eats is if I feed her in her hide and Drop food in there. I was tempted to not feed her in her heide and hopefully she would come out and eat but I’ve been afraid to do that since I never see her out any suggestions? Thank you
Where do you recommend getting AFT geckos? I am so interested in getting one. I've done all my research and everything like that. I have found them from breeders online, but I am very worried to get one through the mail. How do you feel about getting AFT through the mail? It worries me so much! Ahh!
