Definately going to subscribe! Super helpful video and channel. I currently have three crested geckos. An adult confirmed female called Lewie (Harlequin). A 9 month confirmed male called Dug (Flame) and a hatching we named Cherri (Bicolour). I've kept cresties for nearly 4 years now and I personally have learned as I've gone along. I did research before getting Lewie but I've learnt more and more as time went on. Even videos like this give me small ideas of how to change up tanks and stuff. Very helpful!

Great video! Very informative! I've been keeping green anoles for a few years now and I'm considering getting a crested gecko next. Similar habitat, humidity and tank setup as anoles, just with lower heat requirements.
Oh my goodness. I love your videos so much. lol I got my crestie, Pumpkin, a little over a month ago and i'm struggling to get her to eat from her food dish. I have to basically feed her myself. I got her Repashi and she loves it, but she will only lick it from the skewer when I put it in front of her face and she doesn't go to her dish...at all. I have branches and everything leading her towards her dish and that makes no difference. But it sucks because I don't want to "Spoil" her and make it even more difficult for her in the future. I have tried to make it noticeable to see if she would eat at night, but I can't really tell. I just know for a fact that throughout the day, she doesn't touch her food dish.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video :) They’re mostly nocturnal so you won’t really see them eat during the day at all. They typically come out to eat during the night!
Hello! I just wanted to say that I loved your video, but it is not true that you can immediately put a baby crested gecko in their adult size enclosure. It stresses them out and increases the chances of starvation because they can't find their food and end up being too scared or stressed to eat anyways. It's highly recommended to keep them in something like a shoe-box, to monitor poops and check whether they're eating :) They feel safer in smaller spaces, so it's better to start small and size up as they grow.
Awesome video. Very helpful. I learned a lot from you. I do have a question though. If your gecko food has D3 in the ingredients do you still have to put the calcium with D3 on there insects or do you just use calcium with out D3?

I have a two month old who really only eats insects, any recommendations on how to get it to eat the paste?
Don’t offer insects until they’ve eaten their diet. If you continue to allow them to just eat insects, they won’t want to eat the gecko diet. Try different flavours and brands as well, some geckos like certain flavours better
@@EmmaLynneSampson I have, I actually have one of each. I’m a bit crazy when it comes to my pets. I like to spoil them.
