The uneven sound quality is the scariest thing in the game.
That first jumpscare got me good, I lowered the volume after that. And I'm glad I did, because WHAT THE HELL was with that man laughing and roaring into your ear?! I swear the guy was the worst one lmao
The dinosaur designs aren't too special but they do their job. I really like how the raptor death screen looks like tho. Thinking about the Spinosaurus, it would be very interesting if the thing that chrashes through the wall of the building wasn't the head of the Spinosaurus (which imediatly gives away what it is), and instead it was the gigantic clawed arm crashing though a window trying to grab you. BTW The final shot of the Spinosaurus standing in your way being revealed by a lightning striking in the background is **chef kiss** .
The use of visual indicators is pretty nice, the police car with the fire showing you the Pteranodon scene is very moody, and whenever you take a turn or enter a new area you imediatly see most if not all of the next exits which is decent level design. Some details are a bit obtuse tho, like there was no indicator that the code was on the concrete block of all things, that should've been highlighted like one of the items. The specilal effects are spot on, the VHS effect is excelent and it never gets in the way of what you have to see. The animations could get more work done but honestly this can be adressed when the game is more finished.
Giving the dinosaurs a variety of weird and creepy bird sounds is very good, although there's way too many sounds that come from literlay nothing. It would be nice if you looked at the rattling fence and there actually was a raptor grabbing it while it looks at you. Plus a couple more moments of quiet would rise the tension. The dialogue could use some work. The delivery of the third "never!" was pretty good, makes the villain's possesiveness with his project feel very personal. But the constat manic laughter is a bit too cartoony and repetitive, just once or twice would be enough.
The autosaves being generous is super nice, specially given how easily you can die and the amount of walking and looking around that you have to do.
All in all you can tell that this is a passion project with lots of love poured into it and it takes all the right lessons from other vidogames in this genere. I'm looking forward to what the developers can make out of this.

Oh man this is so spooky! I really like the visual style, and the fact that you're just kind of thrown into the game with no objective, no big tutorial mission.... Nope, just you and some serious spookiness. I could see that being a little challenging at times, but on the whole it's pretty cool to just immerse you like that.
5:20 Odd that the flashlight doesn't make you easier to find... In that case, why would you EVER turn it off....?

Yeah, overall I agree there's definitely some potential here. Some things to be ironed out, but I like the concept and the overall feel of the game a lot.
That screeching noise scared me so bad and also the raptors scared me so bad I dropped my phone on the couch
