The Rich Rich don't even wear these uncomfortable shoes. Look at pictures of these Sheikhs wives and you see they wear designers but comfortable ones because they do actually stay on their feet at programs and events they attend.
I used to work in private aviation and can attest to this fact. I cant count how many of the rich and privileged had their pilots request we move their personal vehicles onto the ramp so they didn't have to walk thru the lobby to the parking lot.

Never buy Louboutin’s, it’s not worth the pain, everyone who owns a pair of Louboutin’s says they’re the most uncomfortable shoes they own. So no matter how much money you have, just don’t spend it on these shoes with the red sole.
I've seen at least 2 interview where Christian Louboutin himself said his shoes are not designed for comfort. He said making the shoe comfortable is not a priority but rather the way the shoe looks is. He actually said in one of his interviews that if someone told him his shoes looked comfortable he wouldn't consider a complement.
This is what happens when we have men designing shoes for women....they have their own perception of what women should wear even if it means the women ends up breaking their necks. And truth be told, women fall for these mysoginistic tactics only cos it's expensive and thinks it will up level their status. We should rather support female designers....are they even any that designs sexy shoes?
YES Maria Grazia Chiuri is the current creative director for Dior (i hope she never leaves) and she does not compensate comfort for looks, girl her shoes can do both
I agree with the heels and espadrilles but the Hermes Orans are seriously very comfortable (atleast for me) I have mine for almost 5 years and still in very good condition considering I wear it atleast 2-3x a week, got it soaked a lot of times (I don’t ‘baby’ luxury items since they’re meant for us to use😅 but really, the leather is impeccable!! Never did my feet got hurt even if I use it for more than 6 hours straight. I didn’t have to buy a couple of sandals every year since it breaks easily. So the orans for me are worth it. 👌🏻
She didn't say the Hermes sliders would hurt your feet, she suggested they would hurt your purse therefore save some money and buy them from AliExpress.
The first pair review is so true, I have the first pair and there’s no ankle support at all with the ysl shoe, the moment you step on an uneven crack in the pavement, say bye bye to your ankles

I have a pair of the lambskin Chanel espadrilles and they came apart pretty darn quickly. I get that lambskin is soft and sensitive but come on they're not made to last. Within a month the stitching started to unravel as well.

Former professional classical and folkloric dancer, gymnast, and model here!🙋🏾♀️ I take my designer shoes to a good cobbler! And get your insoles from the cobbler as well! They really work! The cheep gel insoles from the pharmacy, and department store don't work, period! Buy the high quality leather ones from a quality professional cobbler, and have them put the vibram soles, and cushions on the inside will change your life! I'm able to walk in my Louboutin's for hours! With proper professional care and maintenance you'll have your designer shoes for years! 😉 😘
The fact that you have to do all of the above to gain comfort really proves how much we’re being ripped off with these high price points. It doesn’t make sense.
I tried on a pair of Louboutin’s to wear at a wedding. It was a hell no for me! I ended up buying a similar pair in Manolo Blahnik, and those are reasonably comfortable. Much lower heel.
Agreed red bottoms are so so cheaply made , the red on the bottom is paint not a real metal red bottom and when I say they hurt really really bad ,they are super expensive, but cheaply made its almost like it cost 2 dollars and they sell them for thousands ,and the reason why they have red carpet in the stores is so you don't ruin the bottom when you try it on ,the minute you wear them on hard floor it's a huge wrap,and when they say sign your receipt you sign and once you sign you cannot return them after 30 days .stay far away
Knew the YSL pair was going to be first on the list… I have the dupes for $35, look EXACTLY the same and same amount of discomfort. The price tag for the authentic ones isn’t worth it for this shoe, very easy to replicate.😂😅
I agree!!! If it wasn’t sooooo tight while walking, the shoe wouldn’t be bad. I tried putting a thin gel insert to keep my foot in place higher up and no bueno. Walking in Miami to dinner from the Uber to the restaurant door even was toooo much.

I’m glad you said it! Those YSL shoes are very difficult to balance yourself in. The bottom holding up the YSL is made of thin rubber and can easily cause you to slip on certain surfaces. The Louboutins are a waste. Women only wear it as a symbol status but it is extremely uncomfortable and will eventually give you foot and back problems.

4 inch heels AREN'T made for walking/standing, they're made for sitting. I always look at where the heel lines up, if it is at the back of the heel, I won't touch them, a good pair of heels, has the centre of the shaft, lined up with the CENTER of ur heel, whn u're wearing them, NOT the back of it
Designer shoes are definitely not worth it. There are some exceptions like Lottusse, *Tods* (they literally come with a 3 year guarantee) Kurt Geiger, Jimmy Choo, Prada are actually pretty nice too. The big mistake is going for the tiny flimsy heels. No no no you need to buy the stuff that’s worth spending designer level money on meaning *boots, ankle boots, leather products* because they will be good quality and last forever. I have so many Prada and Tods leather shoes that used to be my moms that are like 30 years old and look great. Get those, skip the designer heels.
I don't care for designer goods but I have bought some designer perfumes, bags, lipsticks... shoes will never be one of them because 1. They go on the dirty floor 🤢 2. They'll get scuffed
Ladies, if you want a pair of comfortable heels, buy pleasers. They are made for dancers (but also come in "normal" platform height.) They are lightweight and will sculp to the shape of your foot after a few wears.

Tried Loubs 2x. Gave 1st away to my sister cos fit was off. Sold 2nd cos I could barely walk in it. No more designer heels for me. Only sneakers & perhaps block heels but that’s it!
In 2013 I found on an Amazon hosted site the perfect black-golden pointed high heels with a red shole. They were the exact replica design of a then fabulous Louboutin design. They costed me 20 euros. I wore them only 3 times, a total walking of 90 minutes. When I walked I felt like needles pierced my feet. But I was mostly sitted and they looked fabulous. Everyone commented on them and all I wanted to say was "Yes, they are beautiful to watch and a hell to walk in. Whoever designed them, must have hated women's feet".
majority of them are NOT worth buying even if you're swimming in cash, I tried so many that hurt my feet after a minute of trying them on in store or you're just buying the label not the quality. like y'all there are amazing quality shoes that look stunning without the $1,000+ price tag

But a pair of heels that I wholeheartadly recommend wearing, because for heely, they are exteremely comfortable are the Rick Owens Kiss heels. They are a joy to wear, they are just a bit heavy so require some getting used to.
These shoes are not meant for walking. They’re are designed for photo shoots and modelling campaigns! That’s it. Or you can wear them when you arrive at your destination and sit down. Prior to that, wear shoes that you can walk in.
I agree with the heels and Chanel shoes. However the oran sandals I had a high end “dupe” first before purchasing my authentic oran sandals and the authentic ones are so much better. The quality is really nice I wear them constantly and they have lasted me years while the dupes fell short. 😊

Umm the Tom Ford heels are some of the most comfy heels I own. They’re not made for walking, they’re made for strutting.

I agree with everything except the Hermès Oran sandal. They are amazing.
But a pair of heels that I wholeheartadly recommend wearing, because for heely, they are exteremely comfortable are the Rick Owens Kiss heels. They are a joy to wear, they are just a bit heavy so require some getting used to.
Tom Ford comes in 2 heel height sizes. The 85mm are very comfortable

These shoes are not meant for walking. They’re are designed for photo shoots and modelling campaigns! That’s it.
Or you can wear them when you arrive at your destination and sit down. Prior to that, wear shoes that you can walk in.
I agree with the heels and Chanel shoes. However the oran sandals I had a high end “dupe” first before purchasing my authentic oran sandals and the authentic ones are so much better. The quality is really nice I wear them constantly and they have lasted me years while the dupes fell short. 😊

You are right for many womens but I have to say its definitely worth buying it i have take have taken a very balanced diet since childhood...... My legs are completely fine to walk on heels for nearly the whole day so......
