You're misrepresenting the historic reality of the region while ignoring the reality of what would happen if the state of Israel were to cease existing in it's entirety - which is what you are proposing. As I view it, anti-Zionism is not criticizing the Israeli government, but rather questioning the legitimacy and existence of Israel as a Jewish state. Often people who do so do not hold other states to the same standard, and therefore exclusively deny the right of Jews to a state and security-that is Anti-sematic.

In israel's founding document, their declaration of independence, they ask arabs who were in the israel part of the partition to stay in the area and work on building the state of israel, and being israeli, along side jews. I agree that the star being on the flag could be interpreted as a ethno-nationalistic statement, but israel's ethnic makeup, actions towards arab israelis, and statements, all suggest that israel is not an ethnostate. Often people who do so do not hold other states to the same standard, and therefore exclusively deny the right of Jews to a state and security-that is Anti-sematic.

In israel's founding document, their declaration of independence, they ask arabs who were in the israel part of the partition to stay in the area and work on building the state of israel, and being israeli, along side jews. I agree that the star being on the flag could be interpreted as a ethno-nationalistic statement, but israel's ethnic makeup, actions towards arab israelis, and statements, all suggest that israel is not an ethnostate.
