He was a legend in his own time. I worked at HMC and I recall the residents would dress up as Dr Copass, with 5-6 pagers on their scrub pants at Halloween 😂. He single-handedly created the WAMI regional and local airlift trauma and burn care NW. Bless you and your selfless service, you’ll be missed!

I worked with Dr Copass in the 80’s and 90’s. He demanded excellence. I valued my education from him and the ‘Good Job’ when warranted.
