    So, do you EAT in addition to drinking the smoothies? Seems like they would make you too full to "eat" too. I lift weights 5 days a week and I've been vegan 28 years, I just want to be sure I'm getting enough food so I get enough protein to support my body and muscles. Thank you!

    • @BrookeGoldnerMD

      @@BrookeGoldnerMD Thank you, so in the morning I typically do oats and blueberries with ground flax, would I do the smoothie for lunch and drink for snacks then a big salad for dinner with a little tofu or tempeh and other veggies in the salad, maybe a little avocado? But no matter what I drink the smoothie every day? I am not sick, very healthy in my 50s, vegan 28 years. No meds and what my Dr calls better than text book blood results. I do have muscle mass as a menopausal female, I would like to keep that. Thank you for your time. 🙏

      Lentil sprouts give u the most bang for your buck as far as protein for muscle building. If u want to eat cooked meals, eat legumes on the side of the smoothies.

    Do you have to be concerned about using so many greens that are high in oxalic acid?

    • @MariuszDz
      @MariuszDz Рік тому +1

      dr Goldner explains in another video that the oxalates thing is overblown and misleading; that there's a tiny percent of population that doesn't tolerate oxalates and if that was you you'd already know it because many veg contain them not just spinach for instance.

    • @deepalijones9402

      I lived on the smoothies this lady speaks of for a few years. I had severe oxalic acid toxicity as a result of of it. I looked like a meth addict that was in severe pain 24/7, thats how much I was poisoned from oxalic acid. My diet put my body in a state of severe oxidative stress and did not reverse any autoimune issues I had. Made it all worse and now a few years after stopping it, I still cannot eat much in terms of variety or quality. My bones burn and so do my muscles.

    • @cheryllewis1697

      Sleep is when your body heals and detoxification processes happen. If your body wants to sleep, it probably needs to do some work now that it has the nutrition to do it. The body is wise. There is nothing in a green smoothie that inherently induces sleep, but if you’ve been sleep deprived or nutrition deprived, trust your body to know how to make the best of any opportunistic nutrition that shows up. And keep it up. Consistency will demonstrate to your body that it will have everything it needs so it won’t have to shut down immediately upon receiving nutrition to take advantage of the opportunity.

      it's certainly odd, i feel a 'high' and a rush of energy that lasts and lasts about 45 after drinking it. it's the most amazing thing ever!! i chug down in about an hour 70oz with about 80% of it being densely packed greens, 15 dates, 2 bananas, half a cup of flaxseed, and 45oz water. not hungry for hours with intense tennis or other activity, no sugar crash. it's the best thing I've discovered in life and I'm telling everyone i know lol

    The smoothie, a raw salad and maybe some soup on the side for dinner? That's it, all day? Sounds like barley 1000 calories.

      I agree, I think including fruits to break ur fat in the morning like a bunch of bananas. I don’t do as big of a smoothie. Eat more fruits, it’s higher calorie. Especially dates ans bananas. Include lentil sprouts. Some nuts and seeds to make the salad dressing. They are more dense. Don’t be afraid to eat fruit. Especially the high calorie ones. 7 bananas is 700 calories.

    I love hypernourishing, but another media doctor states that to have a really healthy gut, we must diversify. Eating different fruits, veggies, beans, etc. You seem to just eat cruciferous smoothies mainly throughout the day and then a salad and some little warm dish. Can you comment
