I am 33 and was never taught to cook, just bought an air fryer and spent the whole day watching your videos. I can't wait to make some of these foods. Thankyou for making real videos without trying to be perfect, i appreciate it seeing as i can't cook but you have both taught me how to make sausage rolls using my fryer. Thankyou.
Air-fryers are great! Also, try learning basic cooking skills, as this will help you utilise an Air-fryer to its maxim. How bake bread, make rotis, various pasta/curry dishes, roast dinners (understand how to cook various cuts of different meats) are the basics. Also how to use different spices, i.e. when to use rock, sea, Himalayan and table salt.
@Roxel09 yes, air fryer is great, especially in current situation. Learn though how to use a gas cooker and oven if you get a chance. It will help you understand the fundamentals of cooking and appreciate how you manipulate ingredients to get what you want. Nothing better than seeing that gas burner light up and the story goes on from there is up to you!
Buy some air fryer cook books look at the manufactures book they may have included recipes. If you can read a recipe you can cook. Just follow the instruction to the latter don’t deviate. Bon appertite.
My wife loves your channel and says your relationship is filled with so much Love and Respect it reminds her of our marriage. We've been together 34 years and married 27.
Omg just found your channel while researching what you can cook with an air fryer. Down to earth, funny and informative, a Breath of fresh air in this uptight world we live in ♥️,
Mummy/Nanny, is the winner, I've put on 3 stone since the start of these cooking videos, I blame you Butler 😜, watching from my padded cell, in Oxford England , and happy belated birthday Sharon 🎂
Classic, great how you show people to cook economically and use all ingredients with as little waste as possible. I can almost smell those Sausage rolls ... Its important so show young mothers that home cooked is always best for family and can be affordable. And taste great too.
I use the paper that the ready made pasty is wrapped in and use it in the air fryer saves your sausage rolls making a mess in the fryer ,love your demos keep up the good work sharon and Martin
Hi Guys I tried your method and used exactly same settings on my ninja air fryer and it came out nicely 👌. I didn’t exactly do sausage roll but more like a tuna/potato bake with puff pastry and it turned out delicious. Thanks for all your tutorials!
You're both cooking! Happy belated birthday Sharon! Fantastic food yet again and your banter gets better every time! Brill brill brill! One question! I know you're both extremely passionate about your food but please - when is your cook book coming out?! You defo need to consider this maybe, I for one would but it and try it! 👍👍
my favourite channel at the moment, no nonsense recipes. My Ninja is just a few months old and today I wanted to make sausage rolls ---- I wonder if Butlersempire do them and here you are. They were perfect Thanks for all the hard work you put in just great love your channel
My sister just told me about your channel its amazing, thank you for the air fryer recipes. I'm going to be trying trying the air fryer toasties for lunch I cant wait and your sausage rolls made me salivate watching you eat them so must make some of those too.
Just made some sausage rolls Im not a great cook but your videos help me to make some decent meals without it costing an arm and a leg Thankyou for your time its very much appreciated
Keep posting videos really helpful I've just joined the airfryer community so excited to try sausage rolls . You too are so funny really enjoy your company so down to earth xx
For years I loved Greggs sausage rolls, until one day on Kingsway, London I got myself a couple from Greggs there, took a bite and tasted rotten chicken ! Didn't try again they went straight into a bin and I have never gone back for more ! I carried onto where I was going ! Those looked fantastic. Thanks :)
Brilliant .lv watching you two sausage rolls looked very nice glad you enjoyed them .definitely having a air fryer for Christmas that’s me sorted thank you .
I’m going to try these as I love sausage rolls especially with mash and baked beans mmmm. Homemade sausage rolls are much better than shop bought and I don’t like Greggs sausage rolls. Im loving all the recipes you do in the air fryer as Im new to the air fryer and everything you cook is my type of food. Keep the recipes coming. Love your channel.
Try mixing in some Thai red curry paste, chopped onion and chopped fresh coriander to the sausage meat before forming into sausages. Or chopped onion, chopped sage, pepper and salt is also very tasty.
Belated happy birthday Sharon, when I make sausage rolls I make them the same way almost as Martin's, a wee tip get a savoy bag and cut the end to suit how thick you like you sausage meat, also when folding your sausage rolls fold them towards you keeping the pastry tight to the sausage with your thumbs when rolling that way the join is already at the bottom, I also coat all the inside of the pastry with egg wash then when rolled just bounce a dough scraper along the top once you've egg washed them, enjoy your video will watch more, thank you.
I love your videos. You both are so entertaining. I have just ordered a Ninja twin air fryer. I live alone so may give up my ready meals and go back to cooking my own food. You are both an inspiration and should be on TV. You are very funny, serious, and entertaining. I hope you keep these going as long as possible. Well done!
My Mom , God rest her was ahead of her time in many ways. She believed that working the kitchen or running the house overall should be meant for women alone. This was at a time when society did not believe that cooking or washing up afterwards was a job for a man. My brother and I were persuaded to give a hand out in all aspects of running a house in the belief that it would be no 'load' to us. We were by no means we'll off, or poor either but we were taught how to cook meals like you both do, meals that were nutritious , easy to prepare and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Due to health reasons my partner has been incapacitated for a number of months but thanks to Mom , I have been able to take over the running of the house with ease and thanks to you both, I have added to my cooking repertoire and bought my first air fryer.
I ordered my air fryer I’ll have it the weekend, I can’t wait to try some of the food that you guys have made, you inspired me to get a air fryer thanks 🙏
Hey The parchment papers are worth the investment. Have you thought of putting other ingredients such as cheese ,onions maybe some finely chopped peppers. The look so very good. Will try.
Hi Buttlesempire after watching this video i thought lets make some sausage rolls in the air fryer and OMG they are just amazing. Thank you for the video and all the other airfryer videos you have done so far look forward to the next one.
Thank you for your great videos. A tip that I would like to present to you. I watched 1 of your vids where you were cooking sausages. You said that certain ones have a tendency to pop or even explode a little. I'm 70yrs old now and I remember that sausages in my younger days used to do the same. However, my Nan used to prick the sausages with a fork or a sharp tipped knife. Once that was done, just two or three times along one side, no more exploding sausages. Keep up the good work 👏.
@@butlersempire That's a good reason not to buy cheap sausages. Penny wise, pound foolish, and all that. I'm really very new to air fryers. I bought a Dido 5 & a half litre air fryer. Which is really very basic but seems to work. Once I sorted out the various hieroglyphics in the instruction book, which really could have been a lot better. Also, there was no cooking recipe book. So, it was pretty much bloody useless. However, I still like the air fryer itself. I think that it could have some milage, as it were. Thanks for writing back to me. It was much appreciated.
Followed your instructions to the letter but put a paper lining over the crisper which caused the bottom of the sausage roll not to cook. Will try oiling the crisper next time and no paper lining
Lovely sausage rolls. Nothing like home made. However, I have found ASDA do a 10 pack of medium pork sauasage rolls that are very good. Cost £2. They are available in smaller packs, but then the cost gets prohibitive. They can be eaten cold but a few minutes in an air fryer until they start to crisp raises them to another dimension. Best eaten with a dollop of sauce like you do.
Brilliant guys. Just bought a air fryer. After watching your sausage rolls, very excited about the possibilities. Nice and natural natter. You made me 😂
Happy Birthday Sharon, i'm sure you are having a fantastic Birthday with Martin, lovely sausage rolls, my mouth is watering just watching, keep the video's coming love them
Just discovered your videos. I've always wondered what sausage rolls were! I've watched Eastenders here in the US and they reference it when they go to the "caf". I will definitely try it in my air fryer. Thanks for the demo.
Lol you always wondered but didn't figure it out or ask the G machine? Hahaha. Greggs are a staple here in England, and you can even buy them frozen from a supermarket called Iceland and cook them at home. They aren't quite as good as when cooked in store though, a bit more dry and crispy, but they do come hot whereas Greggs is almost always cold.
There are few things better than a freshly baked sausage roll, almost too hot to eat, straight from the oven. Another informative video, cooking things that you'd normally use the big oven for. The savings your showing people on energy alone shows how quickly an air fryer can pay for itself.
A fantastic video you both could make opening a tin if peas entertaining you lift our spirits and our mood we love you both and there's nothing you can do about it . And a belated happy birthday to Sharon . you are the best youtubers this Side of the Mississippi. Kevbo&Jackie x
Just subscribed to your channel have watched loads of your videos. You have been very very helpful when it comes to showing how the air fryer works. Happy Birthday sharon, just brought a air fryer where do you get the temperature settings from, not that much information in book supplied,So many things to try want to get the temperature right, thanks Elaine 😊

Great to hear!
If you use short crust pastry and add sage and onion to the sausage meat these make a great sausage roll that still taste wonderful cold.
Lidl puff pastry's amazing and I'm not surprised it makes great sausage rolls with the help of an air fryer.
I'm living here in Hawaii and tomorrow it's going to be the day to make Scotch eggs, and sausage rolls.
You're both cooking! Happy belated birthday Sharon! Fantastic food yet again and your banter gets better every time! Brill brill brill!

Happy

My favourite is Sharon’s, main reason a bit deeper. Both however look good. Not a lot in the finished product. Nothing like home made things.
You two really make me laugh, I love it and I just bought an air fryer so I am finding your channel very interesting 😊

Im loving all the recipes you do in the air fryer as Im new to the air fryer and everything you cook is my type of food. Keep the recipes coming. Love your channel.
they looked nice and crunchy they might have got stuck to the bottom because of the egg wash
Good point Roy
Yessss air fryer gangsters at it again, I love sausage rolls.
Try mixing in some Thai red curry paste, chopped onion and chopped fresh coriander to the sausage meat before forming into sausages. Or chopped onion, chopped sage, pepper and salt is also very tasty.

Love Sharon’s sausage rolls! Thank you for sharing.
Would some grease proof paper be o.k. in the bottom to stop pastry from sticking?
I love your videos. You both are so entertaining. I have just ordered a Ninja twin air fryer. I live alone so may give up my ready meals and go back to cooking my own food. You are both an inspiration and should be on TV. You are very funny, serious, and entertaining. I hope you keep these going as long as possible. Well done!

Yes, we do that but some of these really cheap sausages still split but not in the air fryer Steve.

@@Fruityfrog1 No problem.
Hey you will love the air fryer parchment papers. Love them. They come in square or round and not expensive at all_
Brilliant & loved the banter between you two. 10/10 👌
Mummy/Nanny's sausage rolls looked better but Daddy/Grandad wins for entertainment during the eating.
Why don't you use a pizza wheel to cut the pastry,no drag, love your videos very entertaining and great recipes
Happy birthday baby! Have a fantastic time ⏲️
Just found your channel guys, love your energy really enjoyed this 👍 both look amazing can’t wait to try with my new air fryer.

Great video. The best way to cut the pastry is a pizza cutting wheel.
Nice tip
They look gorgeous, I use same pastry for cheese n onion pasties. X
Another brilliant video guys love these air fried food tips
Love making my own sausage rolls, I add onion, garlic powder and herbs 😋
Sounds great!
If you have coffee filters they work just as good and fit because they are shaped round.I use them and get at a dollar store
Happy birthday shazzer got to say yours looked the best👌
Happy Birthday ..have a great day ,Love watching you and Martin on UA-cam...
Love Denise xxx

Mummy's and daddy's look really good
Just got an air fryer and I love it. Thanks

mum's the winner
Sharon nailed it mate
A real homely channel 👍
Happy Birthday Sharon, your sausage rolls win hands down, don't tell Martin i said that, he is a bit sensitive these days 🙄🙄😂😂
Happy birthday Sharon that’s for the videos all the best! 👍
Comedy gold, Sharon makes for an excellent straight guy.
You could have used the paper that covers the puff pastry as a base. That is what it's for. :)
You don't need any sauce Martin you're saucy enough!! Hope you have a great Birthday Sharon!
I know Barbara lol

We normally half what the instructions say on the packet as a starting point.
You can't beat English mustard with your sausage rolls as far as I'm concerned - the hotter the better!
Brilliant videos. Just what is needed. I have recently bought an air fryer and have been experimenting. Keep them coming. Oh and Baby????? So nice. Lol.
Glad you like them!
