Piece of added advice-The shop that did mine replaced the valley plate with a new one as they can warp. They also used a RTV sealant used on UPS trucks that is good for a million miles (so they say). I wouldn't want to use the same sealant that went bad unless Toyota has an improved version. I still can't figure out why they just didn't use a gasket. This was on a 2011 IS-F as well. Can you fix mine??
I made this video for you to fix your
Already u have a headache..😂😂stop crying get it done im watching u
Can you please do a ls 460 Valley Plate disassembly video?
460 Should be similar with 500 because the 300 also similar. I think the 460 will easier not that pack like the ISF
I don't have a vehicle atm but in the future I do one if available.
Kumusta! The LS 460 has the same wiring loom hornets nest above the intake manifold. The intake manifold is plastic though and should be lighter....you can make a killing doing this gasket service on late model LS 460 which is prone to leak. Thanks again!
I would replace that knock sensor harness as well. Every valley plate I’ve done on the ls460 has needed the harness replaced do to brittle connectors.
@@rzqdzn might as well while it's all open. That hose too
How long did this actually take you to do? 1 day 2 days 3 days
2 hours
@@alltsab You are a madman...and a mastermind. wish i had a mechanic like you around!

Is this the same for a gx460?
I will say similar to each other.
How much would you charge to do my valley plate on Ls460, beers on me (:
I’m in norcal
I did my friend car he just buy me lunch only. Lol
Hmmm I’ll keep that in mind, right now I thought I had a leak refilled resovoir 2 days no leak. Might check water pump first if coolant goes down
@@BasedSwaghoe check your radiator tank beside the reservoir. Sometime the reservoir have coolant but tank is low in coolant.
What would be the price for this ? Might have to make the drive up to u :)
😆 lol could be in the thousands at the dealer
@@alltsab but for you to do your magic
@@divadb8my magic less than a case of corona lol
@@alltsab whaat?? I got 5 cases for u then lol
Would this be the same on a 2008 ls 460 ?
Similar to each other. Toyota build their car not so much difference.
All Tsab thanks man great video 👍
@@julianquijano5312 help subscribe for me ok
New subscriber, hello my friend where can i find you so you can repair my isf lexus.
Thanks for the subscribe. I'm in central california my friend.
Hey, you're Hmoob! Where are you from?
This dude is from Fresno I've seen him around town
Friend Carb cleaner will swell up O-rings. Spray carb cleaner on the old O-rings and see for yourself
You absolutely right but you have to wait for it dry out first. I used Carb cleaner is dry fast so I don't have to wait long. Thanks for a great advice.
All Tsab Why not Orielly brake cleaner on a rag? I find Orielly brake cleaner works better than any other brand I’ve tried including CRC
Also, I would have used Permatex Ultrablack Gasket Maker ( pictured below ) instead of the clear silicone again, the clear silicone failed once. The Ultrablack is extremely tough. BUT I could be wrong, you may know something I don’t.
Please correct me if I’m wrong. I have 20+ years experience BUT there’s many things I don’t know. Still learning everyday.

All Tsab Great Videos by the way 👍👍👍 great channel. You do quality work done right. You’re good at what you do, most other mechanics and shops are half@ss, use cheap non-OEM quality parts and don’t believe in Torque Wrenches
@@Mr.Beastforpresident ultra black is what I always been used too thanks.
How much does a job like this cost?
If Lexus work for you it could be 1500. People you know could be 300 to 500
@@alltsab ok thanks
Anyone fix this with radiator stop leak?
In my opinion you have a nice car don't used those garbage stop leak it will create cluster problems to your system. It will clog up your radiator and heater core.

Om shocked to learn that they used silicone to seal instead of a gasket. That is a real disapointment. These cars cost big bucks & you think youre buying something thats not going to need this type of repair.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH toyota!!!
