Thank you so much for your explanations! It was really helpful, I loved how you gave examples of the muscle's functions with gym exercices, it facilitated my visualization of its role.
Subbed and looking forward to binge-watching all of your content!

Curious on what your thoughts on targeting the abdominal portion of the pec is possible when training/exercise? I have always taken the position that it's pretty impossible to train this portion known somewhat as the lower pec because it's innervated and insertion are the same so targeting is separately is basically impossible to get gains specific in this area though really be great to hear your thoughts?

It is difficult to find any information specifically on the action of the abdominal head. However, based on its position, and because the clavicular head superiorly facilitates shoulder flexion, most likely the abdominal head facilitates some degree of shoulder adduction and extension from a flexed position. Therefore, it is most likely worked with lat pull downs, pull-ups, and chin-ups, but only while the humerus is in front of the body's frontal plane. It also works with the sternocostal head to perform horizontal adduction (pec flys) with a slight inferior pull.

@@CatalystUniversity Do you know if the abdominal head is has it's own nerve to fire or will it also fire with the pectoralis majors nerve branch?
