"Free, No WIFI" First thing that's mentioned is that you need to connect to Wifi (which was probably obvious and no big deal) but also requires a Roku/Chromecast, which is not free. Also takes forever to get to the point. Waste of time.

i click the "apple airplay and homekit" and then my TV does nothing :(. connecting my macbook to TV wirelessly seems unnecessarily convoluted :(. fuckin ridiculous

the only way is to Airplay, not to mirror screen.
Key question: Is the final image 4K quality or just 1080p?

I think they took it out with the new update. I could screen mirror over the summer. I can’t anymore

Not really workable! Once hooked dup the airplay, a notice displayed showing the wireless signal is too weak.

It could be bugged, this is a long shot but a soft reset on your TV should fix that issue!
