FAQs-
Q: "Where is this?"
A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
Q: "What is the spinning thing?"
A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
Q: "What camera are you using?"
A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 7, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080 - Авто та транспорт
love the engine sounds of truck 50
Would love to see some traffic 50 perspectives sometime
What the hell they aren't moving over too well! The red Honda should get a ticket!
Timestamp?
the 2 red cars at the beginning....really?!?!
Yeah, the first one could have maybe been avoided if they had the siren going. My policy has always been if it’s urgent enough for lights, urgent enough for sirens. And stuff like that is kinda why.
The second car though has zero damned excuse other than they’re a complete jackass that doesn’t care what so ever.
Exactly . Not paying attention and moving out of the way for emergency vehicles, the first one almost got T-boned by the engine
@@THEFINALHAZARDthe laws in PA say lights AND sirens must be on. It’s not lights and/or sirens. So legally if your emergency lights are on your sirens must be on.
@@MrLazyAmerica interesting to know. I know a LOT of companies will run just lights like in the beginning here, and when I volunteered with Gap Fire Co, we had a tendency to do that too. Like going through middle of the night no sirens to “be courteous” and I never, ever agreed with that due to safety concerns
@@THEFINALHAZARD Yeah I don’t use my siren at night either unless I’m nearing intersections. It’s not a law that’s “enforced” so to speak, but if you get in an accident while responding without your siren then it will definitely be brought up in court.
You can always tell those who want the fire trucks/abulances to make it to their emergency because they pull over and GTFO, likewise you can tell those who'd complain when their services are delayed but lord help anyone who causes them a moments delay. :p
So out of curiosity, is this a different type of camera than the one on the other trucks? Siren is notably much quieter
Could have the mic volume adjusted down some
Another great video with beautiful countryside along the route. Lancaster, CA.
Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
😎👍
That person driving that car in the beginning is a dummy 👎😡 just going to make a right turn right as you guys are coming
Some real assholes on the road. Get the license plate and send them tickets.
inside they found a dead Rat , that caused the smell
A good experienced apparatus driver will never pass on the right…….you are taking away the legal zone for vehicles to “pull to the right” as required by traffic laws in most states….
