We're getting another hurricane here in florida tomorrow and we're getting a direct hit with the eye. Please keep us all in your prayers 🙏 I needed a little chill and relaxation so thank you for posting this video tonight ❤
I am so sorry for all of you affected by these hurricanes I can't imagine how devastating and scary they are. My dad experienced one in Mexico and I've never been more terrified in my life.
@@michellehawkins4800 thank you. In the 16 years I've lived here, we've never been through a cat 4 so I'm a little nervous about whats going to happen 😵💫 Thank you everyone. Please keep us in your prayers.
I really enjoy your repotting videos! I can’t wait to see all your new hoyas. Will you do a video for us? BTW, I’ve also switched to no drainage-it's my new favorite method!
Claire I’m surprised the IAS shows don’t hire you as EMT- there’s Claire running around with TP, super glue and water colors to patch up all the boo boos! You are amazing!!! Always love your videos! I’ve learned so much from you.
You are literally my favourite plant content creator along with a handful of others, and I’m now watching your videos back to back. You are such a realist and I love that keep doing you 🌸
Hi Claire! Personally, my favorite videos of yours are the repot and chats. What would be cool is if you could theme them based on a plant genus. Such as a repot and chat with Hoyas, with your tips and tricks on the genus.
I relate to you so much on the adhd things, I always have to fiddle with something. Thats why I like plants because there is always something to fiddle with. For books I really enjoy audiobooks, I can put one on and do plant stuff for a couple hours.
I really enjoyed one of your videos where you took Yulee out for a stroll through the forest. 🌳 It was great seeing your countryside and the perspective of your love for plants.
this is what I was going to say, here in the US we have apps that connect to your local library that you can "check out" audiobooks. It has helped my brain justify "wasting time" reading when I could be doing something more productive.
Hey Claire 😁 I have just started a new project combining my two fav hobbies -plants and craft. I got a kit for a miniature plant shop! Everything needs building and it's so much fun. That would be an awesome project to follow a creator build, hint hint 😉
Thanks Jungle Haven, the plant I used to hate but now I love is my Sensio String of Pearls. It took so long to figure out what it likes but now it's thick and lush. Your Begonias are totally gorge!
i absolutely love your videos! even when you have a wonderful growing plant. you don't become super preachy about how your so great. and you know everything about that genius. your videos are so easy and nice to watch
I’m so happy you got through all your chores…and you gave us the opportunity to do the same. I was able to make Sheppards pie for dinner, wash my dishes and start putting together a new moss pole. Listening to you while I do my stuff makes me feel like I’m not alone. I love the moments when you bring up comicon. I’ve managed the hundreds of volunteers at the Toronto ComicCon and Fanexpo in Toronto for the past 9 years. Who is your favourite superhero/villain? If you could choose a superpower for yourself, what would it be and why?
I am so happy this video finally got me to do my repotting . Ive had such low energy but this was so inspiring .🥰 I never used to like succulents or the normal popular plants like aroids
As always ... a perfect video for a tired brain :-) Thank you for sharing the vid. Your content has a very calming effect on me .... and I need to pot that heart leaf Phill for my neighbor, cause it's in moss for about 6 months lol
I got a Begonia Sinbad because I saw yours and knew I had to have one. It is now big and always flowering! It sits near my kitchen window. The flowers are white with a yellow middle. So cute!
Hi, Claire! I've never even looked at Ficus plant. But this summer my sister gifted me one and now I'm obsessed with them and already got 5 more different kinds:)
Im a hoya head so anything hoya related im all for but i cant say i have a specific fav of video type. Love the repot and chats, love the top 10 of any category or your favorites of the month. Also the question about a plant type/genus that you once disliked and now love (and vice versa) stuck out to me. So i initially only collected pet safe plants because my kitty is a little naughty lol and I LOVED Peperomia. Collected numerous types.... And then they all seemed to go downhill for me around a year old or so.... Also alot of mistakes were made as an early plant momma which is ok😅😂 i stopped growing them for about a year and now im starting to get my Peperomia collection going again (have about 6 varieties currently) 💚
Hmm.. After all I've heard about them, I'd probably choose mealy bugs too! Something about spider mites just.. brrh gives me the chills. I love these videos, they hjelp me navigate my own plant chores, what substrates to use, and reminds me to actually check up on my collection! You kind of make it a more fun experience, when we get to see your joyous reactions to the smallest of changes in your plants. I also like videos where you talk about what plants you take to the plant swaps, videos from the plant swaps, what is new in your collection and why, collabs, and videos where you change around your plants and the lighting. Xx from Norway❤
Got lots of fun little things done with my plants 💚 I would choose for mealies forever. I’ve only had them once but they seem to be easier to get rid of than spider mites. Spider mites also just leave the worst damage 😩
I’m fairly certain the begonia you were unsure about is begonia “Down Home,” it looks just like mine. I love your channel, I always leave it on while I’m doing my own plant chores. 🙂
Hey Claire, I’m not sure if you’ve tried audiobooks? 📚 I’m a late diagnosed AuDHDer and LOVE reading!!! 💕 Audiobooks has been one of the best ND tips I’ve received so far 🙏I went from having multiple half read, unfinished books to listening to about 40 books, both fiction & non fiction, per year. It’s made such a wonderful difference for me ☺️🫶🧠
I honestly really love all of your videos, I was trying to pick a favorite type of video but started to write down all of them 😂 I think I also just enjoy the variety of videos you provide. Also, if you want to get more into reading, I think you might enjoy If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio. Maybe you already read it, but it’s about students in drama school and it’s a bit of a dark mystery. It really hooked me in personally and I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
Ahh! Love a good planty, chatty vid. I want so badly to tinker with some of mine but none of them need anything. I’ve resorted to staring at them to see if they’ve done anything since the last time I looked….. maybe it’s time to get more to feed the need 😂
I may or may not have looked up the shop you recommended and accidentally saw your review and know what plant it was you bought 😅. Anyway I love seeing planty project or experiment videos. Those are probably my favorites other than plant chores videos.
I love Eastern tropical I’ve bought quite a few anthurium from them recently. They’re my first stop for anthurium as they often have plants not available anywhere else
you can easily super glue on plants and they will be fine. superglue has been used to fasten plants in fish aquarium to rocks and decoration. the plants will not be harmed.
When you do the reservoir at the bottom, I noticed that you do dirt on top. does that not rot the plant and what kind of plants work best with that set up? I have a very large collection and it would be very nice to do a video on how you keep it manageable and not get overwhelmed. I am always looking for things to make my plants easier to manage.
I love your videos! I watch you often while I do my own plant chores 🥰 In terms of weird hobbies, I live in Northern Canada and do dog sledding with my 2 dogs in the winter! During the spring and fall, we do bikejoring and scooterjoring. It's a lot of fun and exhilarating, as my dogs are sprinting bred sled dogs and we can hit speeds of around 30-35kmph on the bike 😂
I used to love variegated English ivy....because it filled my shelves and looked gorgeous. Then I learned that every year (2-3 times a year), I had to battle spider mite.
Not sure if you’ve ever tried but, I find audiobooks a great way to read with having the ADHD attention span! I’m able to listen to the book while doing other things! So doing say all the plant watering lol you can listen to the book too. Just wanted to offer incase you’ve never tried! 🖤
I would choose mealybugs because they are easier to stay on top of and don’t cause damage nearly as rapidly as spider mites. I hate spider mites! Been battling them all summer and it has been hell. 😅
Hi, have watched all your vids- love them. Any chance you could do another video about using semi hydro please. After watching your videos, I did change all my alocasias and some others plants into semi hydro, with a reservoir. They grew fab for a little while but after a short while I lost loads with root rot and the semi hydro just seems so sodden. Whenever you lift a nursery pot from its cache pot that has a reservoir the water seems to pour from the bottom of the nursery pot but the plants look so healthy. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has had issues. Hell would very much be appreciated im sure.xx
I had that with one anthurium. Sometimes it’s the roots adjusting. I add perlite to pon for those with thinner roots. Works awesome. Also, make sure the reservoir isn’t too high if they are rotting higher up.
Love your videos and right now I desperately need a distraction. With the upcoming US presidential election my stress level is over the top. So I watch your videos new and old they are so informative and have helped me so much with my 175 plants. 😊 I do have a question, do Maranta plants have corms?
Touch wood i only ever had Mealybugs. Since i own more Hoya’s in my collection. They are gross. I lost my Hoya Compacta the green one. Also my Hoya Krimson Queen. When they are heavily infested is hard to treat. For some reason my husband gets them on his Bonsai which i never heard of. He lost one to spider mites my 1st time seen these pests. I don’t grow tropical and aroids not a fan of so i think those plants are subjected to Spider mites and thrips. I treat my plants monthly preventative pests treatments on my plants which is working great for me. Winter seasons i have to double treat and keep extra eyes on since is the worst month for my plants. No air circulation and heating on. Also more fungus gnats for some reason.
29:10 Same goes for any poison. Try not to use rat poison for example, it kills owls/ other brids of prey or cats. Also be careful with pesticides around crops etc. basically anything you plan to eat/ touch. And of course be mindful of insects and other critters! As a little bonus never use glue traps for mice, it's so cruel and kills a lot of other animals as well.
Would you rather keep your current plant collection but can't ever add to it again (not even swaps or cuttings), or get rid of all your collection and have an unlimited budget to buy new ones as many as you want? 🤔
We're getting another hurricane here in florida tomorrow and we're getting a direct hit with the eye. Please keep us all in your prayers 🙏 I needed a little chill and relaxation so thank you for posting this video tonight ❤
Be safe Stacey, 🙏 ❤️
These hurricanes are so scary, and I’m so sorry you’re going to be hit. You’re in my thoughts, please do stay safe and look after yourself 💚💚💚💚
Stay safe 🙏

More plant styling videos. I’ve got an apartment with 50 plants and they’re scattered around with no sense except lighting. I need inspiration
I watch two things, planty videos and true crime.... you're my chill Planty Online Friend! Sending love from New York.
So funny me too
Rewatching Claire. Me too. Here from Brooklyn, NY.
That Begonia You were asking the name of is called a "Down Home"
Definitely more of this….you could try a record breaker 10 hour repot & chat 😂
Claire I’m surprised the IAS shows don’t hire you as EMT- there’s Claire running around with TP, super glue and water colors to patch up all the boo boos! You are amazing!!! Always love your videos! I’ve learned so much from you.

Late feedback but I'd love to see more of the specific plant care videos like you just did recently. Hope anyone reading this has a great weekend!
I personally love all your videos, but the plant chore videos are my favorite.
Hi Claire! Personally, my favorite videos of yours are the repot and chats. What would be cool is if you could theme them based on a plant genus. Such as a repot and chat with Hoyas, with your tips and tricks on the genus.
Hi Claire such a cheery thing to watch on a dark and wild night!😊🌱🌴🍀
Perfect timing 😊 just home from work..made some tea and now all snuggled up on the couch with this video to relax and wind down before going to bed 😌
I relate to you so much on the adhd things, I always have to fiddle with something. Thats why I like plants because there is always something to fiddle with. For books I really enjoy audiobooks, I can put one on and do plant stuff for a couple hours.

My favorite -chatty videos and my favorite plant content creator! Time to stop work (I work from home) and do some plant chores (:
My new hobby is taking pottery classes! It is fun throwing clay on a wheel. I hope to make cover pots for all my plants! 🪴
i absolutely love your videos! even when you have a wonderful growing plant. you don't become super preachy about how your so great. and you know everything about that genius. your videos are so easy and nice to watch
Love your chat and chores video 😊

…oh and my hobbies (besides house plants) are woodworking, outdoor gardening and chasing the Aurora Borealis.
I am so happy this video finally got me to do my repotting . Ive had such low energy but this was so inspiring .🥰 I never used to like succulents or the normal popular plants like aroids

If you like The Secret History, you might enjoy The Night Circus. It’s the most cinematic and beautiful novel I have read all year.
I love Eastern tropical I’ve bought quite a few anthurium from them recently. They’re my first stop for anthurium as they often have plants not available anywhere else

how about a video about top 10 plants that attract pests in ur experience 😃 and a top ten pests free 🤔 would love to know what to avoid)) much ❤️🥰
I have A. Pap x Crystal and it’s gorgeous ❤ I’m so interested how your hybrids are gonna look like!
It's been a while since you have done any planty crafty things. Would you (& Ross?) like to have a crafty day with us?
Please show us how you grow little anthurium seedlings. I'm struggling with mine.
I would choose mealybugs because they are easier to stay on top of and don’t cause damage nearly as rapidly as spider mites. I hate spider mites! Been battling them all summer and it has been hell. 😅
Mystery begonia looks a little bit like a begonia julau type 1 - but whiter
@17:35 Silver Mist Angel Wings perhaps🪴
Off topic: is this your natural haircolor? It’s beautiful and fits you very well ☺️
Hi, have watched all your vids- love them. Any chance you could do another video about using semi hydro please. Hej. Uwielbiam Twoje filmy, oglądam wszystkie 😀Chciałam spytać co z monsterą dubią? Dawno nie było jej w filmie . Pozdrawiam
ohhh I think I know what the secret anthurium is!!!
Maybe try something like audible? I expect there is probably something through libraries etc in uk. Headphones on listening to book while watering
Could you have used green wax on the vein? I heard of waxing end of cuttings so they don’t rot but be interesting if it will help that situation
What about would you rather have wet root rot or dry rot?
Finally the first to make a comment 😂 absolutely love this channel! And totally in love with Claire ❤
It's a grifen. My sister has one
I wouldn't mind having the philodendron golden goddess again. And the gloriosum. I dont think i would want any others back that i have thrown out.
Angel wing begonia. 😊
Kualitas bunga yang sangat baik...
Salam kenal dan salam satu hoby 👍👍🙏🙏

So I watch your videos new and old they are so informative and have helped me so much with my 175 plants. 😊 I do have a question, do Maranta plants have corms?
Mealie bugs as they dont show the damage so badly afterwards and you can even shower them off
What happened to your Ficus Alii next to your cabinet?
Oh! Also, search up Begonia Luxurians. I think you'll find that one quite funky.
17:35 that'd be begonia down home :)
That plant with the extremely long thin leaves looks like it could benefit from a moss pole. Am I wrong?
What is with syngoniums? Did you have them and now Fall out of love?
Where’s jolies lovely bed from? X

Couldnt you just asked the etsy seller what kind of begonia you got as a freebee?😊 google picture says Begonia down home
That begonia maybe a Guy Savard?

I bet the new plant you have on the way is a delta force. Anyone else guess that?
#algorithmcomment ❤
I know which Anthurium you are talking about, I won’t say but it begins with a D 😁
See succulents please.forever is a long time one day I think you will have a house a greenhouse and a garden and will have even more to show us?
feels illegal to be so early lmao
Would you rather keep your current plant collection but can't ever add to it again (not even swaps or cuttings), or get rid of all your collection and have an unlimited budget to buy new ones as many as you want? 🤔
