The way you explain things is just awesome! Please give us more of that!🤘
More to come ! 🤘🏻
Please do more of these! Even general playing tips would be great.
More videos coming !
As an amateur intermediate player, this is some awesome advice on how to lay down a sweet solo! Cheers!
Glad you dig it dude ! Make the methods your own !
Hell yes dude this was SICK! 🔥🔥
🤘🏻🤘🏻
I don’t like naming previous work cause you and Ryan are more than your previous bands. But for the sake of comparison, I’ve fallen in love with your style, YOUR sound since TPR. I feel like that record is really when you came into your own with leads and I always look forward to hearing some Hipa shreds. Keep the videos coming man, I love seeing all the guitar stuff from you guys.
Glad you dig it Erik 🤘🏽
What a grounded man Nick is. I just found about this band of yours, is good to see you again. I abandoned the guitar a while ago cuz I was no good at it, but I feel like starting over with it and hopefully play this song one day! ((:
You can do it ! 🎸
Nick is my hero. Great dude and guitar player.
Thank you m’dude ! 🤘🏽
🤙"Nick"👍
Love Nick. Has always been one of my favorite guitarists.
Thank you dude ! 🙏🏽
What happened to you guys? Nick was always my favorite guitarist and teacher
This is great, Nick! I was struggling trying to lay down a solo for a song (i'm not really a lead guitarist) and it just gave me new perspective
You’ll get there dude.. keep at it !
Jesus Lord what a class from master Hipa"
All Hail to The King 👑
Thank you for your amazing music guys keep going!! 🖤🤘🏻🔥
Cheers Julian 🤘🏽
I love the T-Rex rawr! Nice touch nick lol. Go on sensei I’m learning the way of the guitar solo!
Righteous bro
😎
Thanks so much Nick. I love the way you really explain your process of coming up with solos and how to form them.
This was so well done. Nick you have a knack for explaining this stuff. Hope we hear more music from you soon 🤘
Definitely more coming !
Thanks for this Nick! Definitely helps us understand what's going on and provides a framework to use. I love the "sing it in your head" first approach, works really well for me.
🎤 😯
This is so wholesome. Thanks Nick! 🤘🏼😎 🤘🏼
🤘🏾
This was a fantastic breakdown, thank you for the tutorials and the music! 🤘

Wow this was awesome! Thanks for doing this. Really inspired me to go play some shreds! Haha

I love that Caparison. I look forward to the day I walk into the platinum room and get the opportunity to finger one of these. Hopefully there's either a EVH 5150 stealth or killer Line 6 something to plug into.
Love this guitar 🤘🏽
great stuff Thanks!!

Found this video after seeing a blip on my wife’s Instagram, glad I did. Keep the guitar nerdery comin! Derped around on the Phrygian dom after watching this, good times. Rad vid, rad guitar, rad dude! Cool way to approach solos. Motivation to get the chops up. Thanks for making this.
Ps where is this filmed? I’m always scoping that sick gear in the back of these videos 🤤
Your wife must have a sick feed going on 😂🤘🏻🙏 cheers dude glad you dig it
What is your favorite scale to play Nick? I am obsessed with the harmonic minor scale. I struggle with Melody so this is very educational.
I appreciate you doing this video. You broke that down with some theory, but not so much that it lost me like most of my other favorite guitar players do! I have a feeling I’m actually take something away from this one… and I wasn’t really looking for solo advice. Convenient timing, I’ve been struggling to write out a solo for a few days. The jam over it on loop has gotten me through the first half.
Side note. Are you doing Skype lessons these days?
Potentially doing lessons at some point next year 🤘🏻
sick playing! the whammy riff at 13:00 has EVH Dreams vibes
🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻
Nick would be a great teacher with more time available. my head blew up with the 2nd, 7th shit 🤣…said octave: ok we are good 🤣
That was sick but...
Man - for > a decade I haven't seen you with longsleeves...
Kinda awry :-D
