The Pajero is the biggest star of this competition, im my opinion. Despite of having the weakest engine and complete stock suspension and wheels, it handles very well off road.

they are both super reliables, my 2001 montero limited has 300k miles still strong, my brotber has a 1998 4runner he have about 220k miles on his, now toyotas parts are cheaper than mitsu parts and toyota are easier to work on than mitsus, both great trucks..
The Pajero 3rd generation pre-facelift like in this video is not equipped with traction control because is still not available! Only differential locks are available. The traction control started with facelift Pajero mk3 models in 2003.
