Absolutely. I have never seen anyone give away a platinum record that was 100%. Respect and talk about giving back wow If she was not on his show, that's the reason why she started having good things happen to her. Keep deserved every moment and what a voice. She is a philanthropist with her hands in every kind of cause and recently started focusing on kids who arent welcome at home or who are homeless and built a place in New York even with apartments for them with counseling and adults to model structure. Yet another wonderful cause and such more than the typical hanging out 0.00001% of a rich person's net worth, all recouped after April in tax refunds and for that being named an ambassador for the cause and tho they never look back or do more to help, given a lifetime of praise and kudos. Blah. And all at the same time writing a Broadway show and winning a bunch of Tony's for it.

Wow great live performance! Cindi Lauper . . . what a talent, and she's proved it . . . she's still relevant 37 years after the album was released.

In 1984 I was working with a Girls band in NYC. We were looking for a new singer. Someone suggested I talk to this girl Cydi in the group Blue Angels in the building wer wer living in. I went to talk to here and she told me she had just signed a deal with CBS. "If it did not work out she would reach out" I never heard from her again. God bless you my Cyndi

She should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She has a great voice and a great entertainer. She also had a talk show for a time where she talked about the events of the day. She is smarter than hell.

My friend and I went to Cleveland for our spring break in '84. We met Cyndi and got her autograph as she was coming out of the radio studio my friend's brother worked at. We got to see her at a club that night when we were 18. This was when Cyndi hadn't quite made it big yet, but was well on her way!💖
