Why is this surprising to you?
While SpaceX has just finished it's third attempt of launching Starship and has a record of 350 successful starts of Falcon 9 there is nothing anyone could be interested about Blue Origin.
Not a single orbital rocket so far.
The New Glenn is not even the rocket to get the Blue Moon Lander to space, you know how long that’s been in production? 12 years. In that time span, SpaceX has not only made affordable, orbit class rockets, they’re reusable. They have a perfect track record with their super heavy lift rocket Falcon Heavy and they’re on their fourth test for Starship, a vehicle that wasn’t even a concept until 8 years ago. It’s not indifference, it’s ignoring noise. I truly hope he gets to space but I also think we ought not pay attention to people who can’t deliver. Literally.
For space travel we need stable and powerfull spaceship.

I see your the competition to nasa as Google displayed when asked.
Notice that neither nasa nor beehex own the pizza license, yet a million dollars moved and sales apparently made and I can confirm no royalties paid to 3d print license owner. Pirate much. I own woven fabric heat shield license. Who should be luckier I wonder.
Jeff, your idea is great, I think you need to be more open about what you are doing if you expect other people to build on top of that. Otherwise, the project is dead as soon as you stop injecting money
but thats the whole idea. get the contract with nasa for billions of tax dollars.
then delay the projects, make them more and more and more expensive

It's been nearly two decades of "working on it". Wake me up when you finally get to orbit, Jeff.
BO was working on New Shepard for 2 decades and it last flew in December. They only started working on high-level designs of New Glenn in 2012.

@@calvinsylveste8474 I mean to be fair Blue Origin has been copying SpaceX for a while now. They even copied the landing pads and just slapped their logo on it. And then they go out and act like "you've never seen a rocket land by itself before" when we've clearly seen the Falcon Heavy easily land two, now i'm not trying to be biased with SpaceX, but i have to because even the BO company has been around 2 years longer than SpaceX has yet they still copy them.

Bill Nelson is more coherent than our President. Not saying much, but it's something.
This is a place where forms are kidnapped and the most humiliating procedures are carried out and people are made fun of. In the places where they kidnap people, their videos are taken, even though they are not LGBT or gay. They do the worst and most humiliating actions possible. And there are no forms that perform these operations here. They leave the place after the procedures they perform. They do it. I write it so that the real forms can understand the situation and the personal and arbitrary transactions made. In the process, they condemn the different forms by mentally placing them after the real places they stole. And they condemn all of these that can be created and created to the worst plans.
By the end of next week SpaceX will have completed it's third test of Starship while Blue Origin will still be in preparation of the first test of it's first rocket which is able to reach earth's orbit.
It's true, only a billionaire can afford this. Someone with a lot of patience and spare money.

Mr Bezos has been incredibly patient with the extremely slow pace at which his Blue Origin employees have delivered results. It would be great to see him take on a closer management interest in the operations of the company to speed them up.

In this modern age of rocketry, I wouldn't have EVER approved any funds to go to any company that hasn't proven they could, at the VERY LEAST, make it to orbit before lining their pockets.
NASA buys instruments from companies that have never even thought about building launch vehicles. Going to orbit is meaningless for a contract.

Elon and SpaceX just put his 3rd ship variant into orbit, the Falcon, Falcon Heavy, and now the Starship. Meanwhile, Bezos is still playing model rocketry, going up in the sky, then coming back down, not even breaking the Karman Line, the internationally recognized altitude which space starts.
