Excellent presentation, very informative presentation. Exercises are explained in simple to understand manner . A great service for SI patients. Thank you very much, It will help patients of Low Back Pain specially SI patients. 👏👏👍👍
This is the exact problem I am having right now. There are a few exercises that are so painful that they are impossible to do. I am seeing a pain specialist who is talking to me about fusion of the SI joint. It sounds too good to be true. I want to see him again because I have more questions. I understand this procedure is permanent. These exercises give me a great starting point to healing my current chronic pain until I get a more permanent solution. Thank you for your video

Thanks Dr Andrea. Your demo of 13 exercises is comprehensible at the first glimpse due to your pleasant disposition and accent . I enjoy your demos and recommend them to anyone I come across with low back issues My MRI reveals compression in L4,L5 S1. While standing and walking pain develops in both buttocks in 2-3 mins and then I look for support. Both toes are numb. Sitting and lying positions are fine My doctor says it's spinal stenosis but after seeing your demo I feel I am a patient of Joint Dysfunction for the last 2 years. Do you think, these 13 exercises will be good for both the ailments . I am doing a mix of exercises already with no relief. Regards

Excellent demo video dr andrea ..13 exercises for SI Joint dysfuction are amazing ...easily understandable to all. Ofcourse si joint dysfunction is there are or not how to confirm and how to differentiate from low back pain ....by means of sacral thrust test gallesens test , thigh thrust ....so clinical examination plays a key role ...next regular exercises programme prevent more often , sacroiliac joint dysfuction i thought as a strain ..its related ankylosing spondylitis ....i learned from your video rest all exs we have often.used in other low back pain sciatica ...vital is stretching glutes piriformis .....so you have done a great job i can utilize for my patients with si joint issues heteafter .....credit goes to dr andrea ..you are most passionate ...keep it up.
Thank you for this wonderful video, Dr. Furlan. I’m 73 years of age and was a competitive runner for 33 years, until I started recently feeling tightness in my back the following day post-run. The MRI shows Spinal Stenosis and some Scoliosis, however my Spine MD said it’s if I’m not experiencing any pain during/after running, I should continue easy -pace running 2-3 days/ week and add indoor cycling Do you feel that following this video would still be beneficial if I only did it 3x weekly to start - in addition to adding walking and using a stationary bike on other days-?
Do you do stretching exercises like pilates a few times a week , I think walking is just as good as running as you age maybe supplement it with low impact HIT exercises as well . Cycling can be tough on the back as well .
Hi Dr, Furlan, thanks so much for this and I subscribed. I wanted to ask if there would be any benafits if I do more then 1 set- I mean would it be better if I do 20 repititions 3 sets or should it just be 1 set of 20 reps?
I just recovered from sacrolitis pain now I am doing these exercises so I believe this is a kind of prevention not to get relieved from pain instantly as in pain any exercises can worsen the pain.

Can these exercises be done in the 90 day healing period of cervical radiculopathy....I am getting pain in left leg due to continuous sleeping on right side due to herniated disc pinching nerve n causing pain in left hand. Thank you.
This might work if you have chronic dull SI pain but with acute pain which just started these are too hard to do and I need exercises to relax the muscles first before I can do any strengthening exercises.
