I have been looking for a plan that I will actually learn from. I'm starting this one tonight. praying that I persevere through this. will let you know how I do. thank you for your insight.
I just tested the strategy. I started in the book of Matthew and I started a stopwatch while I had a break at work. When I stopped, it was 15 minutes and 13 seconds and I had read four whole chapters. Thank you for the advice! I think it’s gonna make my second read through of the Bible a lot better. My first time I read a chapter a day for the most part starting at the beginning and it took me a very long time.😊
That's fantastic! I'm so glad it was helpful. BTW...I recorded an UPDATE to this video a few months ago. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/fNvyys9U5LU/v-deo.html
I recommend the Professor Grant Horner Bible Study Plan. Its a great way to learn the ins and outs of the Bible and your jumping around so the reading doesn’t get stale. God Bless!
I started the Navigators Book at a Time Reading Plan on January 1, 2023 and just finished the 11th month. It has been the most amazing emotional and spiritual journey of my life! I am looking forward to starting a chronological plan in 2024, so I’m going to do the Bible Recap in 2024. I read everyday and when I had extra time like weekends, holidays, etc. I would study certain books/chapters.
Shame rappers have a billion views and this has 1 and a half thousand. With that being said, I heard believers are called to walk the narrow path . May we walk with god always.

The Book of Acts through the lenses of each of the four Gospels. That's so clever. Now I imagine something kind of like this: Isaiah, Luke, Acts, Romans, Revelation. ~Steven of Montreal
@@keithferrin Hi Keith, I also recommend, occasionally, to read out loud on your feet, like a stage actor. Try it and let me know how it feels. ~Steven of Montreal
Hey Ryan. Sorry I missed this post a couple weeks ago. I always start by THANKING God for his Word. Then I INVITE him to be present (and that I might sense his presence). Then I pray for FOCUS. I also think it's totally fine to pause in the middle of your reading and sit, talk, listen, and pray. Enjoy!
If you are an absolute beginner, I'd recommend reading Genesis, and then the Gospel of Mark, then Colossians and Titus. Then read Matthew, John, Luke and then Acts and following with the rest of the New Testament. Use the KJV, NKJV, NASB95, ESV or CSB for good literal study. Use the NLT for easy reading and comprehension. God Bless!
@@keithferrin No problem, keep up the good work brother! This is mostly an original plan I came up with for a year long discipleship program I do with people from church. It has worked very well from beginners to people who have some bible knowledge but have never read the Bible through. I recommend this plan of course after said person thoroughly understands the Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ. Blessings.
Yes and no. I wouldn't recommend staying in ONLY the chapter and verse. Read "at least" the chapters before and after so you're always reading the context. "Comprehension come through context."
For people who are new to faith in Jesus, I recommend starting with the New Testament for the first 6-12 months. After that, I chronological reading of the Bible lays a fantastic foundation. Here's a video where I talk about that: ua-cam.com/video/8IAj6KNuzXg/v-deo.html

For now i'll use your plan and youtube audio bible videos to study it. Once again, thanks for shining a light to a new believer. God bless you!
I usually recommend Philippians, Ephesians, or II Timothy. They’re all pretty short, have great messages, and they have lots of familiar verses. Enjoy!
Great question. Once you've done the reading plan in this video, I would suggest doing what I call a "Rapid Bible Read Through." I have a book on it. Here's my affiliate link: amzn.to/4bKEwj9. You can also search "whole Bible" on my channel and a few videos will come up. These will include the OT.
Question of the Day👉What's your favorite reading plan? If want a simple way to study ANY Bible passage, watch this next 👉 ua-cam.com/video/G947UPHgkkI/v-deo.html
I personally would recommend people to read through the gospels with a chronological reading plan and then read acts. Each gospel fleshes out the other gospels.
That can be a great way also. I love mixing it up! Since each gospel has a different "feel" to it, I just prefer (most of the time) to read an entire gospel at once. Thanks for sharing!
So i Read the book of Genesis and Exodus And I honestly feel like I got nothing out of it. I myself am a Christian. But i'm scared if I do try to read the bible In the span of a year or 2. I'm scared I'm going to get nothing out of it because I'm gonna either forget a lot of stuff like I did with Genesis Or zone out on some stuff like I did with Exodus. Do you have any advice?
Yes. My approach to reading the whole Bible is summed up in this video ua-cam.com/video/8IAj6KNuzXg/v-deo.html Or if you prefer reading, I wrote a book called Rapid Bible Read Thru. You can find it here: amzn.to/48RYirr (my affiliate link)

I'm so glad you're giving this a try. Something the makes a HUGE difference is having someone to discuss it with. If you're reading and you have a friend also reading, when you get together and talk about it, you will BOTH enjoy it more!
Thank you for this. ‘Actually a good idea. I’ve been looking for a study plan and this sounds very ‘doable’. Do you have any advice as to how to progress for the rest of the Bible, both New and Old Testament? Anyway, I shall start today. Thank you again.
This is my recommendation on where to start ua-cam.com/video/fNvyys9U5LU/v-deo.html As for getting bored or sleepy, I get you! I almost always read OUT LOUD. It also helps if you talk about it with friends. Anything we talk about we get more interested in.
Great question! If you're part of a church or small group that is studying something, I would recommend joining them. Community is so important! If you wanted to read the whole Bible, here's a video where I talk about my process: ua-cam.com/video/bUZm8lt4rs0/v-deo.html
Here's my experience. Started with Matthew (the tax collector) but bcoz it was written for a Jewish audience and I am not Jewish, the genealogy and other related traditions got me stuck. Matthew to me lacks the inspired storytelling element and reads more like a running record of events. Now Luke is refreshingly different, I would suggest read Luke first for great narrative flow. Being a physician, Luke's perspectives came from the heart and mind of one who understood humanity. He also had a compassionate eye for women who were quiet victims of social norms. To me the gospel of Luke reads like it's written by a journalist who had knowledge of some psychology. The stories come alive and are more relatable! Highly recommended.
After you get a solid understanding of the life of Jesus, diving into the Old Testament would make more sense (in my opinion). Especially the first 5 books.
