- Come along as Tommy and I fly a Citation X from Lihue to Honolulu. I love flying the Citation X to Hawaii, and it's even more fun to island hop!

Looked like a nice, quick hop. Some cool clouds on the way there, too. The Hawaiian "uniforms" are excellent =) This'll give me something fun to try in the sim. Thanks for the vid!

Great flight! I love the Citation X! A little bit "old" school, awesome plane. Amazing such clear views with no evidence of fires or smoke from Maui.

how much fuel do you have left in the tanks going to Hawaii? Can you go with 8+2?
We usually top out at six on the way out but we have done nine on the way back. A mix of adults and children. We could do eight out depending on winds and passenger weights. Even when going to Kauai (the farthest island that we fly to) we almost always land with over 3000 pounds of fuel remaining which is plenty in a Citation X.
@@johnkluenkerthen 8 to HNL is achievable as long as the wife doesn’t bring her typical 500 lbs of crap. I believe a 50ex can be fully loaded and still have max range. Cost wise I believe they are comparable to operate.
@BirdDog. That sounds correct! The most we have ever had going out is six and usually we are only carrying four passengers to Hawaii max so I haven’t had to crunch the numbers too closely.

Oh yeah a super fun trip! Bummer you lost your wedding ring on your honeymoon!! 😖 Ouch!! I’m sure made a local with a metal detector very happy at least!
