I have just found your videos, I love your family already. My girls 16 and 14 got their ASD diagnosis 6 years ago. It was 6 years today for my 16 yr old. They are high functioning and my 14 yr old is food driven and also has pica. Watching your videos has helped my 23 yr old son understand why my 16 yr ild always wants bear hugs and to wrestle. She is seeking that proprioception. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
I am a nursing student and I had to do a care plan for a child with cerebral palsy (I know not the same thing as autism) and my professor commented on how in tune I was with the needs of special needs families. When I was writing it I thought of your channel and the things you have taught me! I will be a better nurse because of all of you💕

My doggie passed away five weeks ago. He was almost 16. I am soooo lost without him. Your dog is so sweet. We are getting a westie puppy in August. My son is super excited. I just wanted to let you know, that because of your family I decided to follow my heart and my gut and try to find a job working with children with autism. I earn my bachelors in Psychology with focus in ABA in July and I nailed my interview for a new job last week. I start training as an ABA therapist in two weeks! Thank you for all that you do, how you inspire, and all that you do to shed light on living life with autism. I’m so thankful that I clicked on your video on Facebook all those months ago.

This channel has changed my life...I have always wanted to give back to my community and did not know how...I worked with autism before when i was a teacher however forgot how fulfilling these children can be. I came across this channel on Facebook and now are totally hooked. Since watching it I have decided to start volunteering anyway i can. So April 28th I am volunteer at my first event. The Fredericksburg autism awareness walk and family festival. Thank you guys for providing laughs an knowledge.
You are all so lucky to have one another. It's amazing to live life with such positive attitudes. You guys keep everything light and silly. It looks like a lot of fun to be in your fam!
Der Bettnässer I think its more like we are excited because we care about her and wanna see how she’s doing. Also guess what she can’t consent for anything. She isn’t capable. It’s a fact but that doesn’t mean she can’t be on the vlog. What she is capable of is expressing emotions. As her parents it’s their job to interpret what’s okay to show and what isn’t and if she is feeling up to vlogging. There’s plenty of vlogs without much of her in it because she’s not up to it. They are her parents and spend so much time and money trying to help her that I have no doubt they love and want what’s best for her.

I just really have to share how much your channel has changed my perspective, outlook, and awareness. I had to give a flu test to a 16 year old with autism a few months ago and at the time it was difficult because i just simply didnt understand and had never been around it before. Dear Maass Squad I have been watching you religiously for months since I came across your channel I was completely unaware that there were non verbal autistic people and my friend has a son that is high functioning autism I have watched him grow for 8 years since birth and he is just so fascinating to watch he is obsessed with space and math and so incredibly smart I genuinely feel they are the most advanced humans on earth to date but are unable to verbalize or show how smart they are, I just wanted to say thank you so much for being a genuinely happy loving family and just good people I love watching Abbie progress! I had a brain tumor when I was 18 months old that resulted in me have a learning disability and being on the autism spectrum just a tad But I struggle for a long time trying to fit in. You have played a big role in me being more confident of being myself. Because of my trauma I have a soft spot for special need kids I love how Abby is such a happy child even though she’s non verbal.

Abby is so lucky to b able to attend such a great school. My son is having such a hard time at his school. They just don’t know how to teach a child with autism. He only has 2 years left but I feel like he’s not going to make it. I don’t know what to do. I need to find him a better school. Things are so bad that I can’t get him to go much lately. It keeps me up at night. 😢 I am so worried for his future.

Dear Maass Squad I have been watching you religiously for months since I came across your channel I was completely unaware that there were non verbal autistic people and my friend has a son that is high functioning autism I have watched him grow for 8 years since birth and he is just so fascinating to watch he is obsessed with space and math and so incredibly smart I genuinely feel they are the most advanced humans on earth to date but are unable to verbalize or show how smart they are, I just wanted to say thank you so much for being a genuinely happy loving family and just good people I love watching Abbie progress! You guys are amazing! My 6 year old sister caught me watching this and now always asks if I’m watching “the video in Florida” (I was watching the live video where you went to SFA) and now she loves watching with me! It’s awesome to be able to teach her at such a young way and have her be open minded and not judgmental! Thank you for letting me teach my sister because she has never met a person with autism and your videos allow her (and myself) to learn more about autism!

I just enrolled in school, and watching you guys have encouraged me to work with kids. I would love to work with autistic kids, I know it can probably be challenging but watching the impact they had on abby. I would love to do that for someone else

I had a brain tumor when I was 18 months old that resulted in me have a learning disability and being on the autism spectrum just a tad But I struggle for a long time trying to fit in. You have played a big role in me being more confident of being myself. Because of my trauma I have a soft spot for special need kids I love how Abby is such a happy child even though she’s non verbal.

Just finding out my 13 year old daughter has Autism was a big surprise... We found out about 2 months ago. I had no idea what it even was.. Thank you so much for videos. I love both of your children🖤 Amazing how you raised 2 completely different children and they both turned out so amazing! You guys don't get enough credit.. I have a second cousin with autism and also i had an older couisn who was autistic, he sadly passed away two years ago. when he was a kid the world didnt really have answers to autism or what to do for it. I look at all the help today and the awareness today and i thank god and bless those who have worked so hard to get the awareness out there. Abby is so lucky to b able to attend such a great school. My son is having such a hard time at his school. They just don’t know how to teach a child with autism. He only has 2 years left but I feel like he’s not going to make it. I don’t know what to do. I need to find him a better school. Things are so bad that I can’t get him to go much lately. It keeps me up at night. 😢 I am so worried for his future.
