You definitely have to de-stress for your own health! I'm new to your channel and I see it. I ended up getting PTSD and didn't even realize it. Now I have anxiety, depression, chronic pain and fibromyalgia. It has really been life changing. Take a fool's advice!!

I think it's terrible you would go through the creek, not only is there sewage, but many dead bodies, and still not been recovered!! Since those dogs are dying now from the poisons and toxins in the water and soil now, your wondering what that smell is? No gloves on, but more than worrying about your protection, why take anything, broken or not of these peoples items, how sad is that!!!I don't care if it's for selling to make a buck for the "cause", it's not yours, you must assume this is things from peoples homes, their life, so wrong for a stranger to get out and look for something to take or sell !!! You yourself are surprised of what the water has done to the land and peoples property!! Showing the destruction is one thing, but wadeing through the polluted water and bare hands rinsing things off. So sad!!!
In potential defense of the rude woman on the phone: we used to get calls sometimes up to 3 times daily for over 10 years for the former owners of our phone number. Some were clearly trying to set up drug deals, some of them claimed to be the owners' children...none would take no for an answer!
you should keep some samples of that iridescent water but don't let it touch your skin. Send some of it to different independent labs. Not g labs. and don't send all of it. Hang onto some, as the plot thickens.... probably will be vey valuable but I wouldn't announce it on here that you have. A nuclear detector too maybe...
