- Father Mary Benedict, CMRI, joins the show to give us the full story of the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen (Congregatio Mariae Reginae Immaculatae) from its founding in the early 1970s through to its impact on the Catholic world today. The good Father has been part of the congregation almost since its founding and gives a detailed account that will help introduce you to the good priests, brothers and sisters under his excellency, Bishop Mark Pivarunas.
Part 2 covers the dates from mid 1980's and the split with Bishop Schuckardt up until the current day and the congregation having grown to be the largest sedevacantist group in the world.

I've always been so impressed with the humility and transparency of the CMRI. I've been so grateful to have them in my and my family's life for the last 4 years. Deo gratias!
And that's why I respect them and admire them a lot. Bishop Sanborn organization has lot to learn from them in humility department. No humility, no Heaven, even if are an eminence in Theology.
@@auteliodelatorre1873 What happened?
Awesome podcast. I hate the fact that there is no CMRI Chapel here in Florida near me, I hold great respect for His excellency Mark Pivarunas.
Fr. John Trough tries to go to Fleming Island, FL once a month...
Any chance this location will receive their own priest for more regular sacraments?
where are you located.
I’m in East central Florida. Would be very interested in seeing if a group could get together and beseech the CMRI to perhaps send a priest if possible. Where are you?

The only problem I have ever had regarding the CMRI was the Thuc question. The priest taking on here was dialed right into the fear I had with the CMRI. I was scared to go because people told me not to. But like the priest said, to a person, they never could legitimately tell me why, except “they are schismatic.” Well, Bergoglio and the Modernist church is schismatic, so what now? So I went anyway and I had a Catholic experience; not a clown mass. Glad I went, and I’ll continue to assist at Mass.
I have a serious problem with the Thuc line myself, I took the time to research thuc and there are flaws in this lineage that I cannot accept as valid.
@@MRO1970 I definitely understand what you are talking about. You know, I just want to be a faithful Catholic. I’m not a scholar in the legal aspects. But when I go to traditional Catholic Masses, it’s clear that it’s Catholic. I know I can never go back to a Novus Ordo Mass again. You don’t get the same homilies there as you do at a traditional Mass. If Bergoglio ends the traditional Mass at all parishes, like he intends to do, I’m not sure where else I could go. It would have to be the CMRI. I’ll go there and ask Jesus to please look at my intentions. One last thing. We wouldn’t even be having this discussion if the Catholic Mass was the one original Mass. V2 has created a crisis that was unnecessary.
The Thuc line is legit . Bishop Sandborn and others researched. Ask a CMRI priest to explain the so called "problems". Go right to the source
It was interesting that the good Father Denis died on Aug 10th, the feast of St. Philomena, because his religious name was Father Denis Philomena. He was a very good man.
I don't bother with any early problems... I ignore.
When montini attacked Jesus and Mary on the world stage at un, CMRI responded as Catholics and rejected this treason against God and our Dear Mother.
Enjoying this very much. Thank you.
Thanks for having it on Castbox as a whole episode (one hour and sixteen minutes!) Keep putting your podcasts onto Castbox as I find it very easy to use because it is not confusing. I remember all of this from the 1970s from the SSPX viewpoint. I was confirmed by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1983. I went to masses in a stable, village halls, an old peoples home, a defunct church with yoga posters on the walls as it was run by the local council after the Anglicans stopped using it. The stable is still used! The mass centre using the defunct Anglican church is now relocated to a nearby city and is now in an ex Anglican convent which had been shut. I remember all of the changes in the 1960s as a child. Best wishes.
Listened to both episodes. Thank you for very clear explanation. 'Am new to CMRI, at Our Lady of the Sun in Phoenix. May God bless and Mary keep you all! 3 Hail Marys for Fr. Benedict.
Fr Denis had enough of the infighting and lived in New Zealand for 2 years.
Bishop Schuckardt visited New Zealand.
It would have been nice to hear his answer about Arch Bishop Thuc.
Part 3 will be posted soon.
I listened to it today. It’s up now.
🙏
Very interesting. Thank you! By the way, the link, in your drop-down video description box, to the live-stream channel for the Holy Mass, in Father Benedict's parish, isn't working now. Has that channel been closed?
Ventral Florida anyone else?
My uncle is second from the left. Benedictine Father Bernard
Father Bernard is deeply loved by the entire staff at Catholic Family Podcast. We have all been moved by his Benedictine spirit.
Are these interviews recent?
Yes. This is from this week.
What does CMRI mean
Congregation Maria Regina Immaculata. In English, Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen.
Does the congregation have a Benedictine monk?
Yes. Father Bernard Uttley in Canada. Please pray for Father as he works to fulfill God's promise to St. Benedict that the Benedictine Order would survive until the end of time.
@@catholicfamilypodcast5501 It makes me sad that there is no Sedevacantist Benedictine community, that several monks have not left the "traditionalist" monasteries that support the F$$PX and that vocations of interested lay people have not emerged. Another thing I don't understand is why Bishop d. Guerard Des Lauriers and Bishop McKenna who were Dominicans did not found convents of the order.
@@auteliodelatorre1873 Who's not a real monk?
@@apostoladosantafilomena1675 Bishop McKenna did oversee a convent of Dominican nuns. They are still in Michigan.
@@TheDTCory Bishop Robert Neville is their Pastor now.
I bought a wall calendar from them in January via mail order.Dominicans have the sharpest coolest looking Habits.
Did the CMRI use valid Bishops for confirmations and Holy Oils after Schuckhardt before Bishop Musey? Cannot agree with their use of the 1956 Holy Week and Rubrics.
@Andrea Green Congratulations on your marriage. I hold Pius XII lost his office in 1956. Pray 3 Hail Mary's for the Soul of Bishop Daniel Dolan. God bless.
@@E.C.2 Pope Pius XII didn't lose his office on 1956, if people are going to use the reforms of Holy Week as an excuse to say he lost his office, they need to research it and realize the Pope did not change a thing, Pius XII only changed the timing of the ceremonies which were started under the reign of Pope Pius X but finished under the reign of Pope Pius XII.
@@MRO1970 exactly. to claim Pius XII lost his office is crazy
According to this notion, the Council of Trent is "crazy." Good Friday Mass of the Presanctified was turned inside out, plus Catholics received Holy Communion for first time in history on Good Friday(1956-1967). From Pope Saint Peter I to 1956,Roman Rite Mass of the Presanctified (Good Friday) was one of if not thee oldest Liturgy in Christendom. Liturgical archeologists claim hardly anything was added since Pope Saint Linus I. Pius XII definitely changed & "renovated" the Liturgy/ceremonies of Holy Week/Paschal time.
Though not a valid Priest,Gregory Hesse has a talk on UA-cam about the 1950's "changes" and how it was unprecedented in Catholicism. This isn't personal,I hope Pius XII is in Purgatory or Heaven. My beef w the 1950's "updating" "changes" etc is we in turn, through no fault of our own, received the curse & condemnation of Quo Primum Tempore & Session 7 Council of Trent. (Pius XII era made Anti-Pope Paul VI revolution possible, can't have 1 without the other.)
