  • Father Mary Benedict, CMRI, joins the show to give us the full story of the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen (Congregatio Mariae Reginae Immaculatae) from its founding in the early 1970s through to its impact on the Catholic world today. The good Father has been part of the congregation almost since its founding and gives a detailed account that will help introduce you to the good priests, brothers and sisters under his excellency, Bishop Mark Pivarunas.
Part 1 is concerning the founding of the congregation up until the split with Bishop Schuckardt in the early 1980s.

I'm a lifelong Protestant that somehow, by God's grace, discovered true Catholicism in 2019 via Giuseppe Filotto's book Reclaiming the Catholic Church, plus his UA-cam channel. I've been attending a small, CMRI parish an hour from my home and my wife and I are planning to convert. Glory to God! I'm so grateful for His grace. May God bless you all.

I’m new to the CMRI. I came here because I can no longer Recognize & Resist a heretic in the Vatican. I can’t go to another clown mass, or dance around the subject of a traditional movement by pretending to recognize someone that cannot be a pope. It’s either Catholic or it’s not Catholic. The only place left for me is the CMRI.

I think it might be helpful to put all 3 History of CMRI podcasts in a playlist on this channel. It makes it easier to find things. The same could probably be done with other similar podcasts such as the momcasts, and the daily Lenten meditations. I'm really enjoying these podcasts...keep up the good work! God bless!

Wish so badly they'd reject the Pius XII changes from 1951-1958. Why would P XII destroy the oldest apostolic liturgies such as Good Friday and elimination of the after midnight Holy Communion fast?

Please put this onto your Podcast on Castbox. May I suggest you put all the parts together so that the interview is one episode. Our family goes to the SSPX so I am getting to know about you for the first time. Why are the sedevacantists so divided? The SSPV don't like the Reverends Sanborn and Dolan or I presume the CMRI. The Reverend Sanborn is now arguing with Reverend Dolan. None of this gives credibility to the sedevacantist case. I don't say this to be nasty but because I observe it. The SSPX world is not perfect either with the resistance breaking away from the SSPX and then splitting up themselves. When the shepherd is not doing his job the sheep are definitely scattered. Perhaps this could be addressed in a future podcast? Best wishes.

I have never heard of Castbox but it can be found on Google play, podbean, Spotify, Amazon podcasts and a few others. The full podcast can be heard now on these platforms. As for your issues with the "in-fighting", I understand that it does not help in anyone looking for a solution to the problem. But as you say, we as Catholics have no Father and have been left to fend for ourselves as simple children. No matter the goodness of all involved there will inevitably be issues. I would recommend to make a decision based on the doctrine and dogma and teachiings of the Church - pre-1959 - rather than on the people in any of the positions. God bless you and grant you the grace to always do His will!

I agree with you about what is happening in the sede world but the devil works hardest where it matters. I’m praying for reconciliation between sede groups now because there is so much going on, so many people waking up and we need to be an example and be ready to receive them. Prayers for the truth to prevail and pride to have no place in the true church!
