I can understand if you lease a phone and then you can purchase it but I don't understand why people lease a tesla you are basically giving away money because after 36 months it is not your car anymore, it is better to get a loan and pay it off in 5 years and then it becomes free to use. Can someone explain to me if there is a secondary reason why leasing is a good option? because teslas cars don't depreciate in value as much as other vehicles.
good question! first off if you plan on buying the car after your lease then don't lease it just get a loan.... I leased mine because I would rather put the $50,000 in real estate (which I did) and the real estate pays for my lease so basically its a free car to drive PLUS my $50,000 is going up in value instead of sitting in a car depreciating. im sure your thinking well why not just get a loan and the reason is a loan shows up on your Credit differently then a lease does which makes buying real estate completely different. I agree leasing seems really stupid BUT there's a reason why rich people lease their cars and its not just for looks. hope this answers your question.
@@loganpriceofficial well thanks, I am not a real estate investor and was not aware that it affected the credit in that way. I do invest in stocks so for now I think I will get a loan, but I appreciate the information it will definitely be helpful for the future.

Leasing is almost always a horrible decision, especially with no option to buy at the end.

You should use the Summon feature on your phone without someone expecting it it would be like candid camera it would definitely freak someone out when they see there's no one driving it

Thinking of purchasing a 2021 model 3 silver with black interior. Can't bring myself to spend $10k for self driving though. Still on the fence.

@@hunky_dory_7021 I swap cars so often I've never even kept a car 2 years. when it came time to buy the Tesla I was able to pay cash and when I ran the numbers I realized I could buy it for almost $50,000 and 3 years later the car would only be worth $30,000 so instead I put all the "car money" in real estate which in 3 years will go from $50,000 to at least $70,000 and the real estate pays for my lease plus more. I appreciate the question! 👍🏻

definitely not for everyone. they show dirt more of course. but much easier to keep clean then you would think.
