Most important change was not mentioned. 2021 introduced a heat pump instead of a resistive heater. The difference in the cold months in range is substantial vs the 2020 and earlier models.

How is the materials/car paint ? the older one had rust problems. would be nice if the newer one is more rust prof. I have order a lr.
the paint is so much better with the 2021. mine has no issues at all but I couldve just gotten one of the good ones. however I haven't seen any issues past the late 2019 models
2019 2021 there really isn't much of a difference lmao I'll take a 2019 Tesla model 3 long range save some money 😅😆

I actually love my 2020, even the piano black-I enjoy cleaning it. The chrome is nice also, though it tends to age the car but it stands out from others since so many people have deleted the chrome. It drives really good. It also came the wireless charger. My biggest issue is the battery degradation, which I’ve seen just over 10% loss, with only 12k miles.
I think you covered most of the stuff except the front lights! I think the 2021has projection lights if thats what they are called. i think they adjust to when you are turning left or right. Unless in Canada we have them, either way you will notice the difference in the light show.

after having a tesla with standard range i would def consider a long range model, I would love to have the extra miles the long range provides
curious to know what you ended up going with? I'm contemplating a used model 3 right now and don't really feel like I need the long range since 95% of my driving will be just 20 or 30 miles a day. I read that the long range #s are not really turning out to be true, so I'm thinking of saving $ on just getting a standard range.

One thing you got wrong…the 2019 does NOT use real leather. It’s vegan leather. The new one may be different (and better) but they definitely did not use real animal leather on previous models. 🙂

There are lots of changes to the 2021 model year. The one change that I don't like is changing from radar to Tesla Vision. Tesla Vision is less accurate.
You nailed it on the dry vs. “wet” leather seats (pre-2021). It is night-and-day. That is ONE of the many things I despise so much about a Tesla 3 Model.
It’s all the basic shit that they should have gotten right from the start. Try that crap on a BMW - or any other luxury brands, and there would be hell to pay. But Tesla fan boys just shrug it off like it’s somehow acceptable.
I won’t even bother touching on the trunk lid; water pouring in issues... that is just outright stupid. It is almost like Tesla is saying: “How fucked up can I make this and rub it in their faces?”

2019 also has vegan leather. This is not a change. You're describing the feeling of the difference between the black and the white, the texture is slightly different.

@@loganpriceofficial so, I just picked up my 21’ trading my ‘19. I can tell you there are a few more Easter eggs: the door bins themselves are thicker on the 21 and feel much stronger. They also eliminated the plastic “dead pedal” to the left of the brake, it’s now carpet. The dash stamping is new and more heavily textured. They’ve not just changed the buttons on the wheel , but in fact they “click” differently now, so do the steering column stalks- they’re a bit more refined feeling. Finally, the speaker grille on the rear trunk lid is different, now it is mostly fabric with 2 individual grilles, on the ‘19 model the grill is continuous across the back.
Both years are fake leather seats. The steering wheel used to have real leather which has much better feel than the new one in my opinion. Real leather is way nicer sit in a Land Rover and feel seats then feel the fake leather again and you’ll understand.

The Chrome looks always better on Tesla then the block the things that you can always turn the Chrome to block but you cannot turn the black into Chrome 🤭😆

4- My black piano finish it has turned in to matte I just spend a few dollars that's all I needed to do 🤣
