    Hello . Great video. Just s single question what is the device you use to pack the composite incrementally into the cavity called

  • @angelicafoster670
    @angelicafoster670 3 роки тому +2

    1. in selective etch , it's 30 sec etching for enamel and 15 for dentin right ?
    2. after etching , How did you rinse , was that air + water simultanously ?
    3. after applying bond, you air thinned it , but doesn't that go against elastic bonding concept ?
    Thanks for valuable information.

    Sir should we make the floor flat for composite and gic restoration also should we maintain convergence of the wall for retention?

      @Aspire32  Рік тому +1

      For composite u dont have to make flat floor

    Sir I've a doubt..
    For amalgam restoration we need upto 2mm depth for its proper strength.
    If the caries is not too deep , or say cavity preparation is about 1mm around.
    How do we plan for amalgam restoration in patient ??

    Thank you Sir for the demonstration. Sir a bit of confusion here. Sir, can we use the 5th generation bonding agent with Selective Etch technique since the mild acid in primer is sufficient to modify the smear layer in dentin without its removal as you described in your previous videos on Dentin Bonding agents..

    • @Aspire32
      @Aspire32  2 роки тому

      5th generation bonding is always used with total etch. Only 6th and 7th can be used with self etch or selective etch

    • @Aspire32
      @Aspire32  3 роки тому +2

      Since the viscosity is less it will adapt better in line angles and point angles

    Sir what is the purpose of curing bonding agent there aren't any initiators or activators in bonding agent so what's the reason what light does to it

    • @Aspire32

      There are curing components. Bonding agents can be either chemical activated or light cure

    Terrible sound quality along with too much camera shaking make this like a video to confuse more than teach. Plus you don't mention the steps properly. How many seconds for irrigation and how is the irrigation done? Water and air together or first water then together?
