My mom asked the manager of one KFC during a protest if the business was affected. He said that they actually got excited when they showed up because sales went through the roof for as long as they were out there.

Almond, Oat, and Coconut milk cost more than dairy milk. To "end the upcharge" would really mean just raising the price of the dairy options. Why should the dairy eaters pay for something they're not consuming? That's stupid. And I'm vegan.
The best solution is to end government subsidies of dairy farmers. Let the free market prevail. Again, as a taxpayer, why are people that don't consume dairy subsidizing the dairy industry?
As a taxpayer, why am I paying school taxes on my utility bills when I don't have any children?
