If we're to take "My Body, My Choice" to its logical conclusion, then the biological father should have almost as much say about the fate of the baby as the mother, since it's near half his DNA that helped create the other life. The truth is no government or individual should decide what human gets to live or die. By the same reasoning, no State or single entity should be in charge of deciding how to integrate or organize women's sports. It should be based logically on sex and strength/weight class.

My daughter is a competive high school swimmer(she is going into junior year). She is a 2 time state qualifier/finalist and a regional champion. Her 400 relay team that won regionals, would not have been in top 8 against the boys. She swam against one of the top high school swimmers in the US at state, her times would not have made her close to any male. None of the girls champions would have been close to the men's time. The fact that our president and this administration is pushing this, is mind blowing. They did not even play the part where Gaines said she walked into the women's locker room and Thomas was naked, with his penis exposed. They are forcing girls to be naked in the same locker room as guys.

All they had to do is say Ian Thomas's ranking when she swam with men. She was 554th in the men's division. That shows that more than 500 males are better than the very best female swimmer. Transwomen can get away with having much less skill because of physical attributes against women, athletes.
Please know I am not disagreeing with you, because it happened. It would be lunacy to deny her loss. But I do have to say, just looking at Serena she is a powerhouse. All of her training, hard work, talent and dedication, got her to where she is, and I have to respect that. It wasn’t until 2020ish (can’t remember the exact year) that she stated in the interview that she couldn’t beat a man and men’s and women’s tennis were two different sports. Yes, some women are bigger or faster than some men however what the issue is is elite sports, college and Like-for-like in leagues etc. There's a reason why girls can play in boys' teams of soccer for example until the age of 12. I could probably run faster than a 60 Yr old man with a bad knee but match me against a man of my age/health and lifestyle and he'll definitely beat me. My husband and I are similar in height but he's way stronger than me - u can see just by the difference in our comparable shoulder width, arm size, muscle definition and he's not a pro athlete. We're 'normal' people. My son who is 16 now has that muscle definition- if he wanted to, he could certainly beat me in an arm wrestle. This is madness😮

They went a little overboard. Its like a business hiring too many employees. They need to make enough to pay them all and have spaces for them to work. They need to make sure the employees know how to do the job and get required training done. They need to make sure the employees wont be bringing harm to the business by being violent or rude. I'm also gonna say, I think that Will Thomas held back in this race and was trying to make it look like a close call because he had been heavily criticized for winning his previous meet by a very very significant amount of time against these other women. Dude was having lunch waiting for them to catch up. This activist who tried to use Serena Williams as an example saying she could beat any man against her should think before she speaks. Serena sat on Stephen Colbert's show when he suggested she play a famous male tennis player and said absolutely not. He replied that she could beat him, and she said she could not, and she wouldn't embarrass herself by even trying. She is one of the greatest female tennis players, yet she couldn't beat a male who was ranked 224 in his league. She understands that there is a difference between men and women. Now that's you not saying she can't beat any man, you could put her up against someone who casually plays the sport or not at all, and she would smoke them. The excuse used by athletes is that not all men can beat women, and that is true. Be we are talking about men and women who train very hard for these sports. And when you have people whose lives evolve around what the sports they play who train all the time, you can't compare them. Men will come out on top in physical sports every time.

People sometimes ask "why don't you care about trans men in male sports?" The reason is, as you know, the men take care of that themselves by putting these ladies in the ground. We only talk about it when the transition gives an advantage.
My daughter is on a soccer team where Chloe has decided to become Isaac or something.... I want to know why she isn't going to a boys' team if she thinks she's a boy. We all know why. She can be more special as a trans on a girls' team. It's so absurd and I resent that she gets special treatment from the coaches, etc. putting pressure on the other girls and making them feel somehow insignificant.

I went to a high school where there was no women's sports. In my senior year I was finally able to participate in women's volleyball thanks to Title IX. I know what it is like to fight for sports. As a competitive swimmer in college I know how hard we have to train and compete! To have a guy with a penis pretending to be a woman and be allowed to compete in women's sports is just sad! Anyone who has ever been in competitive sports knows how hard you have to work---both men and women. Training is hard, it takes years of strict dedication to be a top athlete. In general, high school boys achieve levels of athletic accomplishment that exceed the best women in the world. Professional female athletes can't hang with high school male athletes.
they made a challenge like 30 yrs ago, a 200th something rank tennis player took them up on it, he pre gamed beer while playing golf, then showed up to the challenge, and smoked cigs while beating them both without them ever scoring. most athletes train prep and try to be in peak condition, this guy handicapped himself by drink booze, and smoking and still won back-to-back matches with ease...imagine handicapping yourself and still easily beating your opponent..

I'm female. I played football as a freshman in high school, the coaches were like, yeah you can play but after freshman year it's going to get increasingly dangerous for you to play because the guys are going to bulk up and get crazy strong. I was third string on the team, but I played in every game (as a charity) I was just an okay player. It was an experience, but I had no business being there and if I could go back I'd skip the whole thing.
My son will be a senior this year in a huge football program. We had a young woman on our team til last year. I felt so awful for her as none of the guys talked much to her. I was worried for her safety also, but admired her for wanting to try, she either loves football or her mom was pushing it (I believe the latter, to be honest). But that's a LOT OF WORK for not much in return. Hope you've found a sport that you love that you can really get a good feeling about. I'm a swimmer by choice, as running is no longer an option, but as a 62 year old, I can still swim daily and feel great! Good luck.

My daughter is a competive high school swimmer(she is going into junior year). She is a 2 time state qualifier/finalist and a regional champion. Her 400 relay team that won regionals, would not have been in top 8 against the boys. She swam against one of the top high school swimmers in the US at state, her times would not have made her close to any male. None of the girls champions would have been close to the men's time. The fact that our president and this administration is pushing this, is mind blowing. They did not even play the part where Gaines said she walked into the women's locker room and Thomas was naked, with his penis exposed. They are forcing girls to be naked in the same locker room as guys.

Please know I am not disagreeing with you, because it happened. It would be lunacy to deny her loss. But I do have to say, just looking at Serena she is a powerhouse. All of her training, hard work, talent and dedication, got her to where she is, and I have to respect that. Second, in the interview, she was more than honest in claiming there would’ve been no way she would’ve been able to beat him at their sport. I have to respect her for honesty too, especially saying it on tv to be recorded forever. I mean, look at her, she’s all muscle and strength and for her to come right out of the gate and say, nah, there’s no way I could beat him is where she gained my respect and a bit of admiration. I watched an excellent interview with Mrs, Gaines and Jordan Peterson when it had come out not too long ago. I definitely gained more of an understanding at what had happened, what she went through and what she lost in her senior year. She gave up so much just to train and to be number one in her sport. She too is a powerhouse to be reckoned with. And in walks a guy who had been pretty worthless swimming among his male peers, so what does he do? Pretend he’s wanting to be a female so he could win the trophies he has yearned for so long and thought he deserved. At least that is my own personal take on the worthless piece of you know what. Yes, some women are bigger or faster than some men however what the issue is is elite sports, college and Like-for-like in leagues etc. There's a reason why girls can play in boys' teams of soccer for example until the age of 12. I could probably run faster than a 60 Yr old man with a bad knee but match me against a man of my age/health and lifestyle and he'll definitely beat me. My husband and I are similar in height but he's way stronger than me - u can see just by the difference in our comparable shoulder width, arm size, muscle definition and he's not a pro athlete. We're 'normal' people. My son who is 16 now has that muscle definition- if he wanted to, he could certainly beat me in an arm wrestle. This is madness😮

There are a lot of us LGB, and yes, even some T people, trying to push back against this nonsense. But as you could imagine it’s a lot riskier for us to speak up. We definitely are at higher risk of losing our jobs and social ostracization. I try to be more subtle and have conversations with people, and I can promise you there are cracks forming. I gotta say that Riley Gaines has shown more courage than basically any LGBT person I’ve ever met.

They saw each other struggling to fit into society and came together basically. Now they have accepted too many and some that dont fit in so things are getting out of hand. They went a little overboard. Its like a business hiring too many employees. They need to make enough to pay them all and have spaces for them to work. They need to make sure the employees know how to do the job and get required training done. They need to make sure the employees wont be bringing harm to the business by being violent or rude. If they dont than they can end up going bankrupt from the costs or being shut down by not having the satisfactory standards required to stay open.

I'm also gonna say, I think that Will Thomas held back in this race and was trying to make it look like a close call because he had been heavily criticized for winning his previous meet by a very very significant amount of time against these other women. Dude was having lunch waiting for them to catch up. This activist who tried to use Serena Williams as an example saying she could beat any man against her should think before she speaks. Serena sat on Stephen Colbert's show when he suggested she play a famous male tennis player and said absolutely not. He replied that she could beat him, and she said she could not, and she wouldn't embarrass herself by even trying. She is one of the greatest female tennis players, yet she couldn't beat a male who was ranked 224 in his league. She understands that there is a difference between men and women. Now that's you not saying she can't beat any man, you could put her up against someone who casually plays the sport or not at all, and she would smoke them. The excuse used by athletes is that not all men can beat women, and that is true. Be we are talking about men and women who train very hard for these sports. And when you have people whose lives evolve around what the sports they play who train all the time, you can't compare them. Men will come out on top in physical sports every time.

People sometimes ask "why don't you care about trans men in male sports?" The reason is, as you know, the men take care of that themselves by putting these ladies in the ground. We only talk about it when the transition gives an advantage.
My daughter is on a soccer team where Chloe has decided to become Isaac or something.... I want to know why she isn't going to a boys' team if she thinks she's a boy. We all know why. She can be more special as a trans on a girls' team. It's so absurd and I resent that she gets special treatment from the coaches, etc. putting pressure on the other girls and making them feel somehow insignificant.

I competed in a CrossFit competition recently and any man would smoke me in all competitions! I am so happy I compete in Asia because they place you in the categories, no man can compete with women
Imagine your sister or daughter being in a locker room and in walks a man identifying as a woman. He still has his male genitalia, he’s standing watching these young women change and is becoming sexually aroused…yet these women are not allowed to complain or say they feel violated! They are also putting male sex offenders into female prison’s because they identify as women. Do you know what’s happening? Female prisoners are being raped and getting pregnant from these assaults!!! Predators have found a new way to prey on women and now we’re told not to question or defend ourselves.
It absolutely devastating to see the amount of people who literally don’t give a sh*t about women and girls safety, privacy and dignity. The anger I feel about this issue is off the charts. The Democrats deserve to go down in flames at the next election.

I went to a high school where there was no women's sports. In my senior year I was finally able to participate in women's volleyball thanks to Title IX. I know what it is like to fight for sports. As a competitive swimmer in college I know how hard we have to train and compete! To have a guy with a penis pretending to be a woman and be allowed to compete in women's sports is just sad! Anyone who has ever been in competitive sports knows how hard you have to work---both men and women. Training is hard, it takes years of strict dedication to be a top athlete. It is a disgrace that men pretending to be a woman can compete against females. It sets women back 100's of years. If this is allowed, then what is next??

When someone is asked simple questions like "yes or no, is there a difference between women and men" and the person literally can't say anything other than start spouting off 100 things other than a yes or a no, not only should that person not have a platform to speak, they shouldn't be allowed to have any influence on anyone, online or in real life. Serena and Venus were the best female players ever; they wouldn't even rank among mediocre men. Men are simply faster and stronger in general and that's why we have women's sports to begin with. In general, high school boys achieve levels of athletic accomplishment that exceed the best women in the world. Professional female athletes can't hang with high school male athletes.
they made a challenge like 30 yrs ago, a 200th something rank tennis player took them up on it, he pre gamed beer while playing golf, then showed up to the challenge, and smoked cigs while beating them both without them ever scoring. most athletes train prep and try to be in peak condition, this guy handicapped himself by drink booze, and smoking and still won back-to-back matches with ease...imagine handicapping yourself and still easily beating your opponent..

I'm female. I played football as a freshman in high school, the coaches were like, yeah you can play but after freshman year it's going to get increasingly dangerous for you to play because the guys are going to bulk up and get crazy strong. I was third string on the team, but I played in every game (as a charity) I was just an okay player. It was an experience, but I had no business being there and if I could go back I'd skip the whole thing.

My son will be a senior this year in a huge football program. We had a young woman on our team til last year. I felt so awful for her as none of the guys talked much to her. I was worried for her safety also, but admired her for wanting to try, she either loves football or her mom was pushing it (I believe the latter, to be honest). But that's a LOT OF WORK for not much in return. Hope you've found a sport that you love that you can really get a good feeling about. I'm a swimmer by choice, as running is no longer an option, but as a 62 year old, I can still swim daily and feel great! Good luck.
