Same here, I don't like checking bags. I took my kids, so 5 of us, to Puerto Rico for 8 days 7 nights, we did not check anything. We each had our carry on luggage and a personal item. And we had so much extra items specific for the trip, I made it all fit and still were able to bring home some souvenirs.

YAY for going green. But next time get a roll of brown paper cut it to the size of you dress, lay it out on your bed then lay your dress on top of the paper and roll it up tight like a burrito but open ends. It works perfectly. No wrinkles and it's a space saver. Oh and Good Luck 🍀
One thing I think you guys should look into getting is a travel garment bag even though it will have to be a checked bag they help with dresses and suits not getting wrinkled. My family has one that we used to go to my cousin's wedding in Georgia and we were flying from California
When u said about losing suitcase on crazy middles get air tags n put it inside n padlock on outside n put something to know which is ur case like i put zebra duck tape. My late dad was pilot n had never lost a bag Please can you do video of all ur gadgets that Jared has. Btw I love packing videos.
