This is one of my favorite salads because it keeps really well in the fridge...and it is incredibly delicious! I love the nutrient dense vegetables, tomatoes, green bell peppers, cucumber, red onion, olives and the homemade balsamic dressing is amazing too. Make quadruple batch and keep it in the fridge all week. It was so easy to dice up with the Breville Sous Chef 16 Peel & Dice.

You need your own reality tv show. You’re too funny. I love your humor!
oh im sure youre much too generous! But thank you 😄
@@WellYourWorld no, really
My wife and I made this sandwich salad for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a great combination of flavors.
I’ve been violently ill with the flu for almost 2 weeks, and haven’t started the challenge yet. But I have my goals and batching ideas. I’ve been surviving off applesauce and water, mostly... can’t wait to jump into it once I’m better! Love the addition of the chickpeas!
Another awesome recipe thank you so much for sharing
I just made this for the first time. I'm hooked. I struggle with salads having enough flavor while keeping it oil free and without added salt/sugar. This works for me. I had a bag of shelled edamame in the freezer that I threw in (and it seemed to fit well with this). I have plenty to work on all weekend. I did add celery as Denise Sergeant suggested (as I'm, for some reason, obsessed with celery). Thanks for the video, Dillon!!
Can’t wait to make this yummy looking salad
Looks amazing, thanks for sharing!
What you just made is the salad dressing I use over my lettuces/spinach/cabbage. T'is yummy 🌹
Love your gadgets!
I'm so happy I found your channel a few days ago!!! I'm trying to get in as much "Well Your World" now to try to catch up on past videos!!! LOL. Absolutely love your videos. Thank you for your time, your humor, your style, the ideas and demos. So entertaining too. Great personality. You really are GREAT with the camera; stick with it and your channel is going to go places. Just awesome!
Hi Kristi, very kind of you to say. Thank you so much for the support. Hope to see you here lots more. XO
Oh wow. I am loving it brother
Ive been eating this all this week only difference is I add 4-6celery stalks thinly sliced. My dressing is honey mustard. Absolutely love thus. For a change just put lettuce on plate then veggies & dressing. God bless you from grandma Katie in Oregon
Made this salad today. It was delicious! The herbs made all the difference! Will be making this on repeat! Thanks so much!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Just made this today. Great recipe 😋
This is delicious!! I added corn, black beans and artichoke hearts. The balsamic and lemon juice is tasty!!
So my husband and I are new to your channel, but not to this WOE. Over the weekend we watched many of your videos and really enjoyed them! You have a great personality and way about you and explaining things in a way that my husband, a non-cook, to understand and feel confident in the kitchen. Thank you!
I made this yesterday and we both LOVE IT! It was yummy when we tasted it after making it; however, today it’s super delicious!
You’ve got two new regular followers!
Great to have you! Thank you Juanita!
Love your humor 😁
I love the huge, super big spoon for mixing. 😂 What a great, flexible, and easy recipe. Keep these types of recipes coming. ❤from Canada 🇨🇦

Thank you for all the easy nutrient dense recipes. Saying hello from Florida my family have been plant based for 6 months now time for SOS & you are our hero.
Aw thank you! It’s my pleasure 😊
I am in Florida plant based 2 weeks today . Absolutely love it . Recipes like these make it so easy . 😊❤️
Happy New Year Dillon! I love veggies - salads, hot & steamed - any way possible. That looks tremendous and will try!
Hi Janet! Happy new year! Hope you enjoy it!
I hollered at my wife that we need to try this one too. She has made something similar in the past. BTW, you need to come up with a thing like what Emeril says, "BAM" when you get done with showing us a recipe.
ha ha ok help me come up with it! 😁
Me again! I make almost this exact salad, I would recommend celery as an addition as well. And personally, I would use red, yellow or orange peppers (as green peppers are just unripe peppers and can be hard to digest).
Thank you for the ideas Denise! And thank you for watching XO
I am making this!!!! Thank you!!!
Totally making this tonight. Thanks, Dillon!
Hope you love it!
Made it fantastic
I love the sound of your voice ❤️💕
This looks great Dillon! Thank you!
Thank you Darla, enjoy!
Omgosh that looks delish! I'll throw in some raw fresh corn from the cob! 😋
Looks so delicious Dylan! I'm water fasting right now but I can't wait to make this after I'm finished my fast.
Happy fast! Thanks for watching!

Hi Lena thank you also for the support! Will be a great 2019!
This has to be one of my new favorite videos. Loving that new toy, but the commentating that goes along with it is flawless! LOL 😂
ha ha love you -- it just doesnt peel potatoes well
@@WellYourWorld On a serious note ( do we have those?! ) your information, time, compassion and outreach hasn't gone unnoticed. You're amazing - love you*
This would also be great on a bed of greens when you serve it!
Definitely!
I'm making this! Looks delicious!
Thank you!
Looks yummy! 😋I love my garbanzo beans.👍😋Happy and healthy New Year.💚🕊
Thank you!! Same to you!
Amazing!
Another awesome video and recipe. 👍😀
Thank you Kathy!
Love Love Love your style! I just got out of hospital with a terrible Chron's bout, no where near fixed yet but you just gave me the biggest smile and little giggle "Go the Breville Peeler :D" I cook the same as you without the chillies so I just love watching you from down here in Cronulla, Sydney, Australia x
Hope you get well and eat like me! Thank you for watching Jacqueline!
Just found you. I’m so happy! Thank you!
That's awesome, welcome to Well Your World! Thanks for watching!
I’m so making this one. 👍🏻
Thank you you’ll love it!
Yum looks good!
Thank you
This is so freaking getting made soon. Wow, lemon juice and balsamic instead of olive oil. Balsamic, my favorite "beverage" next to coffee. My kids and coworkers think I'm weird when I drink the balsamic left in bowl after eating spinach salad
ha ha ha you are not weird. I drink it up with a spoon so I am a little more civilized than you I guess. HAHA just kidding! 😁
THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙏 This helps us stay on track . U r the best 💕👻
Thank you!
So good to have something like this ready to go. Great to put over greens and done. Salad made! I hate to chop everything when I'm tired and want to make a salad. I might include celery to the mix, and add some cut up mushrooms, and avocado when serving. Love this idea. Thanks for the recipe.
Great modification and serving ideas!! Thank you!
Love your videos
You are too funny.,.....makes me smile😄
Like you, I don't like the peel of cucumbers but Persian cucumbers in season don't need peeling. Love, love, love this video!
Thank you and thanks for the tip!!
I was almost fooled about the Breville peeling cucumbers LOL. (No you got me.)
I know I did. I'm gonna get you next time too. watch.
@@WellYourWorld Well now I'm going to be prepared. I hope.
I was watching it on my phone & I was laughing so hard & trying to rewind it to show to my husband...He got me for sure! 😁
Me too, I had to rewind it, lol
Awesome my next project !!
You'll love it!
Made it... Loved it ❤
Looks good Dillon! That's my kind of salad.
Thank you Charlene! I am loving it this weekend too!
Yummmmmmm!
Love your recipes. Love your sense of humor as well. :) This looks delicious. Can't wait to try it.
Thank you Gayle. Hope you enjoy it!
Just ordered your cheese sauce, mushroom gravy and a tee. Super excited to try them out. I’m hoping I love it because as much as I love cooking, sometimes I don’t want to make my own. I also don’t want a bunch of unnecessary preservatives in most store bought items
Exactly. I’m all about keeping these products clean! Thanks a lot for trying them out!!
I am all about supporting small business. Thank you for putting out a product that is as clean as it can be and be yummy
Omg! Fantastic recipe thank you! I don’t eat many vegetables because I don’t really know a lot of recipes. This looks de-li-cious!
Btw I’d like to know if I can dice carrots or beets with the dice blade. This is very important to me since that’s the reason I’d like to get this food processor. Thank you!
Entertaining!
Oh man, i KNOW thats good!!!!
I really dislike cucumbers but once I tried Armenian cucumbers it was on. Try a Middle Eastern store for bulk olives. They're almost half the price of a regular grocery. Only downside is you have to pit them but the taste is awesome. Get the cukes from the ME grocery as well. They're also called miktha there. Thanks for the great recipe ideas.
I make this ALL the time (even before I went WFPB) but I use apple cider vinegar as my acid and no olives (not a fan). You're definitely my brother from another mother when it comes to garlic though!
I just use a vidalia onion chopper for my pico , I mean yours...and I think I could use it for most of this! I do have all the gadgets, but I use manual stuff too ...
Whatever gets the job done 🥰
😂😂😂😂
Those massive silver bowls though are beautiful.I want them
I think you may have ordered the “pro” model I can’t find one with the Parts that you have. The units are all over the place with less or different accessories it’s really hard to shop. I wonder if I can just order the “Pro” model so I will try that. Then get the additional disk set. Thank You
Oh whew!!!! Thought I was gonna have to buy that cucumber peeler!!
I’m gullible like that 😂😂😂
Do you make your own freeze dried herbs? Or do you buy them? OMG that Breville is one amazing machine!!!
love your bowl, where did you get it
Looks good, I also want to make a mashed chickpea salad. Thanks Dillon
I just made that in my last live cooking show. wellyourworld.com
Great, it looked like a great lunch item!
Made this but didn’t have chickpeas 😢sooooo used white beans and turned out just as amazing soooooooo good
Hi! Awesome recipe. I'll leave out the olives simply because I have never tried them (sounds like they are delicious but since I've never had them I won't miss 'em). I really do enjoy chickpeas, from hummus to stir-fry's to chickpea salad--they're always good. I have been cooking all my beans from the dried bean since I got my instant pot and that also goes for chickpeas. I am using and loving all my new kitchen gadgets and appliances Santa got me. Thanks so much for another great whole plant-food recipe :) :)
p.s. Since I started the whole plant-food SOS-free lifestyle about 3 months ago, I am doing great and never felt better. I must say I feel so good I can't imagine ever eating salt, oil, or sugar again. And my 30-day challenge is going awesome as well. I am so glad I found your channel--there aren't many whole plant-food sos-free channels that I've found on YT,
Sounds like you’re doing incredibly well! Very happy to hear it! Thank you for being here 😘 and for sharing with us
Hello love your videos. I,be tried many of your recipes. Do you use balsamic vinegar or what. Should tell you that my husband was not for a life style change til I started using your recipes. Thanks again
Num! Put it over some greens. I would eat this in the summer months. It’s cod here in Boise! I want something warm!
Definitely! I should have mentioned that about putting it over greens.
Nice!!!
😊
Does the Pro come with one dicing blade? Because I can’t tell every picture I look at does not show one. Your extra box only has 2 additional sizes correct? I think there are 3 sizes
*did you change the blade size? Or only using 1 size? It goes from 0 to 8 for the blade*
Question, wouldn’t the slicing disc slice all those olives for you by selecting the slice size?
Subscribed! Shared you on FB!💚
thank you!
Now Dylan if you would put that over some kale or some leafy greens. You would have a great Salad and be eating your greens.Just a suggestion.Looks good.
yes exactly, I wish I would have mentioned that, this is an awesome salad to put on greens...on many things for that matter! Thank you!
Can you use the slicing blade without the dicing disc, or do you have to change out the spindle and blade and use the regular spindle and slicing blade? Just thinking it would be an easy way to slice the olives and maybe slice the tomatoes with the biggest dicing disc? If I'm in a hurry, trying to think of the fastest way to cut everything, with the least amount of cleaning of equipment.
question, do you eat this for lunch???? what quantity do you eat at one sitting, or can you just eat as much as you want.
Ohhh nice. I’m making this today!!! Where do u get freeze dried basil? Do u make that yourself?
This I made myself yes. But I’m looking into buying it in bulk from a freeze dryer to resell as many people have asked me for it.
Do you have a list of your kitchen equipment? I like fancy kitchen equipment and I seem to be really drawn to your stainless steel bowls!
Those are from IKEA
is there an amazon link for the automatic peeler?
jk
I like him!
I beg to differ on the peeling. Mine does just fine on smaller potatoes that would be too cumbersome to do manually. And, I also prefer to run the garbage disposal rather than having to dig out the peels by hand. For something that's too large for the peeler to work efficiently, yes, I will do those the traditional way. But my budget calls for smaller taters, which the Breville works well with.
Does anyone that has this know...is there a difference between the peel and dice processing bowl and the standard processing bowl that comes with the older Breville food processor? And is there a difference in height in the spindles of the peel-n-dice spindle and the other spindle used for the slicing blades? I am just wondering why can't people just purchase the spindle and the dicing blades without getting a whole different bowl & lid in the conversion set? Thank you.
I do not have a Breville FP (yet), but have been researching P&D model for awhile now. Other commenters have stated they've been told by Breville that the bowl for the Peel & Dice is made of a stronger material than their other FP's. You may want to contact Breville directly to confirm that for yourself.
Green bell peppers are actually unripe. I'd do any other color on the bell peppers. (I learned about this when one day I ate green peppers -- only -- for lunch one day and ended up with terrible stomach pains!)
I eat green no problem. I did not know not ripe. I thought green red yellow orange seperate varieties. I will note one yr grew green and if left on went yellow. Not any other color though. Thanks for info.
I eat too much of this I can't stop it's just to good
Everything but the olives!
I’m picturing you squeezing your lemon tree lol!
I come from an area where greenhouse cucumbers are grown. I'm not sure why you think the cukes have a wax coating?? I'm pretty sure that's false and I can ask the next grower I run into. (I would be talking about cukes grown in Canada.)
I dunno, you can hear the squeaky peel when I rub them together. Whether you want to call it wax or magic it's a texture I do not love on my cucumber so I peel them. If you like it, then by all means leave those cucumbers just as they are. Enjoy!
Is that balsamic vinaigrette or just the vinegar?
Just vinegar
Freeze dried basil ? did you grown it too?
I did!
@@WellYourWorld Ok I am growing some now what did you do I need a big jar full :)
Where do you get your bowls?
IKEA
Ikea
I love your big ass mixing bowls! What are they?
What kind of Balsomic did you use? Did you say it's homemade? If so, do you have a video or recipe for it?
Not homemade, this was just the Costco Kirkland brand of balsamic vinegar which I love very much. Thank you Mairzee!
Just made this in the AM. Sadly, I didn't have enough balsamic and put way too much garlic! at least the hubby is back on the road so that I can eat it and he won't die from me smelling like a vampire hunter.
Not to bad of a dice but wouldn't want to clean all that lol
It's very easy to clean with a brush
