- This vegan creamy chickpea salad is one of my absolute favorites for picnics, potlucks, and traveling! Every road trip I take involves making a big batch of this salad because it's so easy to slap on a sandwich and have a quick meal. It's also a crowd-pleaser - I haven't met anyone who doesn't like it!

This is DELICIOUS!!!!! I just made it. I did the sandwich. On one half I sliced avocado. The dressing is PERFECT! Don't change a thing!

I just made this and IT IS SOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS! I added more celery and put some parsley. I think I'll add apples to it next time. This is genius

This is one of the nicest things I’ve ever tasted! I used a red bell pepper instead of celery, I ate this for a week 🤣🤣❤️
This evening I made this recipe "kinda" I didn't have cherry/grape tomatoes, so I put in diced red pepper and about 2TBS golden raisins, added a curry/turmeric/coriander/lemon blend seasoning as well, about 1tsp. It was absolutely delicious! I had mine in a wrap with lots of lettuce, tomato slices, carrot shred and cucumber sliced thin. Thank you so much for this recipe, it felt like tasted like a hearty meal :)

For a "tuna salad" kind of: Add a little bit of crushed nori to the mix. (A little sea food taste) Great for iodine.
I recreated this yummy recipe...and I was sad when I got full 😄. I added shredded cabbage and carrots for extra crunch!
My husband and I made this for dinner tonight, and because we like it, Caliente, we added a big jalapeno. It was outstanding!! Thanks for the recipe, Dillon. Keep them coming!

This was easy and SUPER tasty! I found my nutribullet blender to be a game changer on many of these recipes where you are only making a little amount of sauce. Easy clean up.

Just made and ate it soon as I saw the video. Oh man that was good and there was no way I was skipping the Dave's killer bread for this one. My challenge is going super awesome and I left myself one day that i could have bread for one meal only and this was a perfect way to use it. This is going into the summer lunch rotation for sure. Hence how I came across your channel... of course during this period of fasting, I came across a great tip which I can't wait to give a try, when I reintroduce nutrition again...so I thought I'd share with you... When cutting onions place a moist paper towel on the cutting board beside the onion... The gasses will be more attracted to the moisture on the paper towel, than the tear ducts, because it's closer... Anyway, thanks for all the wonderful content on your channel, I especially loved the pressure canning video... I plan on canning chickpeas next week... Thank you , thank you, thank you!

I just was recommended your channel and I've been watching all your videos! Cooking stresses me out but your recipes take the stress out! I was wondering (and this may be a stupid question), but are the cashews for this recipe roasted or raw?
Always raw. Roasted often have oil and salt but you could find without. Cheap raw cashews are easiest and cheapest to find. Welcome Lizzie!

This looks great. My main (non-salad) dish doesn't always have beans, so it's great to have a way to get beans into the salad in those cases.

This is fantastic! Has anyone used great northern beans in place of chickpeas? How was the texture if you did…. Also, this would be fantastic as Buffalo chickpea salad. Next time I may add hot sauce. 😋

Yes, I tried a cashew dressing for a potato salad and it tasted good! I put some nutritional yeast in it too.

I wonder if you could use sunflowers instead of the cashews, and use a different spice instead of the curry, and use pickles instead of celery? I can't have celery, curry, or cashews, I'm sensitive to all of them.
