Alligators chasing after hippos and ostriches! I can never unsee Disney's Fantasia when I hear the Dance of the Hours. I'm sure La Gioconda was a nice opera, too. LoL! But seriously, this one was fun. I can hear passages where Liszt may have gotten inspiration for his most dazzling piano embellishments. Truly enjoyed this Ponchielli collection. Thanks, Brilliant Classics!
