Unfortunately this is a mystery to me as well. I can't find it on their website and with my experience, the settings (DPI settings, color settings) seem to reset back to default after closing the software and powering on/off the mouse. I'm not sure if it is just a bug in the software or it just doesn't have on-board memory. I'll write to them and ask about this! Sorry about that.
Oh boy I hope so! and I will remember this. Thank you so much! Though I do worry that I wont get be able to reply everyone's comments in future if the channel does grow.
I spent the entire day researching which mouse to get and this video made me pull the trigger on the Lamzu Thorn. I can see how much work you've put into the video and it shows. Amazing quality and solid review. Keep up the good work!
Ah! i'm so glad to hear that!😍 the Lamzu Thorn really is one of the better options that came out this year and i'm sure you can tell from the comments section and other reviewers content as well :) Excited for you to get your hands on it! Happy Gaming and thank you for your kind feedback 😊😊
Love the effort you put into your videos and how you nail every aspect of the mouse. You say exactly the things I'm wondering about. But here's my situation which I hope you can help me with: I have an old Logitech G Pro (not superlight), which i haven't used for a year, until today. I've been rocking the Atlantis (but I also have the Atlantis mini). But when I came back to the G Pro today I was just amazed at the control of the bullets when playing Valorant. It just felt more precise. So then I thought I needed to go back to the Atlantis mini just to test and was amazed again how agile I felt while playing. Even though i was using the same sensitivity i just felt I had more flair and could do more crazy plays but still remaining on point with my aim. So now I'm perplexed cause the Atlantis mini gives me extreme fatigue over time. My hand literally hurts. I love the shape in the back of the mini. But it just dips too far down and too quickly. And since I use a "palm grip" I'm relying on my fingers to kinda lay ON the mouse. But with the mini I have to force my fingers towards the mat, to even touch the mouse if that makes sense? So my big issue now is that, should I got for the Lamzu Thorn which seems like the perfect mix of what I need, or the Maya that's not ambidextrous or just go with the Superlight 2 cause of that amazing recoil control and nice feeling when you headshot someone in Valorant. Please God help me 😂😂
Hey thats great to hear!! A lot of people have been enjoying this mouse and I hope you do too! And thank you for getting the Uncle Roger reference hahahah i'm happy some people got it, if not it would be quite embarrassing HAHA!
This means a lot to me as after I had to take down my channel a couple months back, i've been using my weekends to work on the lighting and do a lot of film tests. Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed the video! I was curious what camera you use for the talking segments. The auto focus shifting from your face to the mouse was impressively quick and smooth. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! The cam I use is a Sony ZV-E10. It's a rather old camera but fitted a Sigma 16mm lens on it. I gotta work on the auto focus sensitivity because it gets a little crazy sometimes haha!
I literally just ordered the Fnatic version 2 days ago as while I love my Deathadder V3 Pro & my G Pro Superlight I’m always on the hunt for a great large mouse!! My only issue with new mice is the mechanical switches as it seems swapping them to quieter switches is a no go!!! Also loved the video & subbed!!
Oooo congrats on your new mouse coming!! That's gonna be an interesting one for you because it is quite a bit smaller than those two mice that you have 👀 It's a very good mouse nonetheless and looks fantastic in the Orange/black color way! Perhaps gaming mice will trend towards silent mouse clicks in the near future hehe
Thank you my friend!! Financially successful does sound nice... For now i'm very happy with a double cheese burger meal from mcdonalds. It's my.. Happy meal :D
This is a great review! Coming from a Deathadder V2 Pro, I've been looking for a lightweight ergo to try out something lighter, and this looks perfect! Definitely gonna give it a shot when I get some money
If you are looking for a lightweight ergo of a slightly smaller form, this would be something you would very much enjoy! And Lamzu mice are a lot more affordable compared to the big brands. You'll have a great time with the shape and the value for its price 😊
Thank you for checking it out and it's real nice to hear that you liked it!! I'll continue to work on getting more content and reviews out overtime :) Slowly but surely!
Excellent video, quality and sound is 10/10 It would be great if you could do one comparing the size, shape and feel of RAZER Deathadder v3 pro vs. LAMZU Thorn. And if not, it would be good if you could give me some feedback by responding here! Greetings bro!
Hey there my friend! I'm grateful for your kind words. Hmm for my Review videos I would like to keep it focused on one product to be fair to all brands. I do agree with you that some comparison content would be very helpful for people! More content I will continue to explore. For now I can share a little about the shape and feel between those two mice with my hand size (17.5x9). My hold on the DAV3P shape does not feel as "controllable" as the Thorn and this is because the DAV3P is larger in size. It is designed for Med-Large hand sizes. The Thorn is quite a different kind of ergonomic shape with its flatter sides. I feel like i'm writing an essay here hahaha! In short, and strictly with shape in mind DAV3P I would choose for a long day of work and gaming, Thorn I would use for a 1v1 against someone who needs to know his place. (just an example) Hope this helps a little!
I highly recommend the Lamzu Alantis Mini 4K. I have large hands and really don’t like small mice. But the shape of the mouse is just awesome and the build quality is amazing. I personally think the Logitech SuperFake is just that overrated. It’s a 50/50 chance you would get a good Superfake and what you get is barely anything vs the competition. My daily driver is the Razer Viper Mini Special Edition and I love it even though it’s small. I just received the Thorn 4K special edition Orange color yesterday looking forward to opening it up and trying it.
Thanks a bunch for the recommendations! The Lamzu Alantis Mini 4K sounds like a winner for you, especially with its shape. And glad to hear that the Razer Viper Mini Special Edition is working out for you despite its size! Hope you enjoy the experience of using the Thorn when you give it a spin. It's always great to hear about personal experiences with different mice and im sure it helps some people out here!
@@tayxiloon The two appeal to different grip styles and shape type. If you prefer ergonimic mice, I would go with the Thorn. For a claw user, i'd suggeest the Atlantis Mini and for someone who uses all grip styles and does not have a specific grip preference, their recently released MAYA is a good one to look at! though I have not had the chance to own one 😅😅
A reviewer with my hand size, finally. Looking to switch to ergo, I love the shape of the Hyper X Haste 2 , feels like a dream, but can't do ambi anymore, to much damage in arms from life things, need to change grip style, but I don't want to sacrifice my aim, so to hear a mouse crosses the bridge of ergo and ambi the way this one does will hopefully be a Godsend. Mine should arrive in 2 weeks, can't wait. Also, excellent job bud, subbed.
I know im late to the game, but a very good video. Just ordered one. The extra 2g could be from the white coating as there is more pigment on the white.
can i ask you something, i'm planning on buying some gaming mice. I'm kinda new to all of this, coming from an office laptop and a logitech m331 mouse. I've save up for a pc build, my hand is 19-10, i'm wondering between this one and the atlantis pro, I dont know much about grip style because my currently one is the logi m331 and it kinda small so I use fingertip style on it but if I have some other mice bigger then I use claw on them, I don't game that much, like mostly 4h a day, so in your opinion, which one gonna be better, also, great video, I really like the fact that you responded to almost every comments. Love the channel, I've sub, hope your channel grow more in the future 🥰
Hello there! Thank you for your kind words! Apologies that I have not got to the comments sooner but here is my input on your question! Hmmm since you are pretty new to gaming nice, I would suggest to give the Atlantis Pro (reg size) a try because that suited for the grip style you are familiar with. Thorn is an ergonomic mouse, it makes it difficult to recommend with the info you provided 😅 But hmmm for me , as someone who enjoys using both Ergonomic and Symmetrical shapes, I do find the Thorn to be a lot more interesting than the Atlantis + the Thorn is newer and uses optical switches which is a huge plus for some people! Hope this helps a bit 😊
The quality of your videos do not reflect in the amount of subscribers you have by farr, when i was watching this i thought this was a very experienced youtuber, im sure you'll be big one day with this kind of videos! On another note, do you happen to be a singaporean?
Ahhh thanks a bunch!! This is my first time talking to the camera and doing a video like this. I hope my content will continue to help people! and yes i am Singaporean 😅
Great Review, but I strongly disagree on the "4k should be a standard feature" statement. You might wanna watch optimum tech's video on "Before you upgrade to higher polling rates." Besides, 4k is pretty heavy on the CPU, which might lead to less performance overall.
Heya! Thanks for checking out my review! I understand where you both are coming from. Hmmm perhaps when the tech is much improved overtime! Im curious to see what comes after the DPI and Polling rate race..
So i'd like to buy the Thorn, i'm not only a person who like lightweight ergo mouse but i also appreciate everything about this mouse... this been said my hands are Just slightly bigger than what has been recommended (18-18.5 cm) and i use palm grip... would you still buy the Thorn if you were me or that's a no no? I have another question😂 IF the Thorn was too small for my hands, is there any alternative to it which is very very similar but bigger? Thanks a lot!
Hey there! :) Hmm for a good palm grip with that hand size, you are right to feel concerned that the Thorn might be a little too small for you! I would suggest to consider the Xlite V3 Size 2. It's just slightly larger than the Thorn but still smaller than a DeathAdder V3! I feel this would be a good middle ground because the Xlite V3 ES that I have feels "full" in my hands but not overflowing if you know what I mean haha! With your hand size, i'd imagine that it should feel a lot better with a palm grip :) Just to note, the Xlite V3 has an original version and an ES version! Have a look on their website when you have the chance 😊
Hey there! apologies for not getting back sooner. Was pretty busy planning more content. By resting claw you mean a relaxed claw grip? Your hand size should be similar to mine! 17.5x9 😅 With that kind of grip I would say that the Lamzu Thorn would be better. The shaped of the Atlantis Mini kind forces your hand to get into a Regular claw / Aggressive Claw grip which is interesting but not for everyone! If you prefer a mouse with more comfort, the Thorn is the one to go with :) If not you could consider the Lamzu Maya which has a very universal shape. I like to think of it as a Jack of all trades, master of none haha! Hope this helps!!
@@wasabitech thanks yeah i ordered the thorn and the atlantis og v2 i actually got the atlantis today been using its really nice im gonna wait till my thorn comes in a couple days and give an opinion between the two
I am trying to find mouse to replace my prime wireless. I do have DA V3 pro and it's not comfy as prime wireless. Prime wireless is perfect fit for my hand, but we all now cons of that mouse. How would you compare Thorn to Prime wireless? Nice video.
Thank you! Oh boy this is a tough one for me as I do not have full experience using the Prime Wireless. But I can share my train of thought if I was in that position! (if it helps) The Thorn might feel like a size down due to the length of it (height of the two are almost the same)... and the Thorn would feel a lot lighter compared to the Prime Wireless. Due to its smaller size, you may or may not feel it to be as comfy as you find the Prime Wireless. I think you might appreciate the "flatter" siders of the Thorn as you did with the "flatter" sides of the Primer Wireless. DAV3P is not as "flat" on its sides and you did find it not as comfy so i'm working based on this input haha! I wouldn't jump to the Thorn expecting a similar experience but maybe something new! Comfort wise for you.... I cannot be certain but what you can expect going to that mouse is a light weight experience (you may or may not like it but you'll get a taste of the lightweight trend) and a nice upgrade in tech. Both things that are good for gaming. Worst case scenario is that you end up reselling / returning it OR keep using your Prime Wireless for regular computer use and take out the Thorn when you get your game on!
@@wasabitech I can't express anything other than gratitude for your time and the incredibly detailed response. Thorn is certainly one of the mice I'm contemplating purchasing, with the Xlite v3 es being the second option. As you mentioned, if either of these doesn't suit me, I can always resell it. I thoroughly enjoyed your video and foresee rapid growth for your channel. Keep pursuing your passion, and I genuinely wish you all the best. God bless you.
Hey there! apologies for not getting back to you earlier. Yes there is no function that switches profiles according to the game you launch on your desktop. The way to replicate something close to that is to configure your each profile and switch accordingly with the button under the mouse 😅
So the battery life is really bad with 4K. I work and game on pc, so can easily use a mouse for 10 hours a day. Without the software, does the mouse indicate that it is low on battery?
It does drain quite rapidly on 4K yes! The led on the left hand corner of the mouse should blink red when it reaches a low percentage. Not sure what that percentage is but I would think its anything well under 15%! Keep the cable that it comes with around for a quick charge. What I did notice is that a majority of my USB C cables cant fit in the Thorn's USB C port 😅
Hello :) So from my understanding, Motion Sync is a function that matches up the rate your mouse sends data with the rate your PC receives it. The benefit is a "smoother" experience but a the cost of 1 ms of delay. You won't notice it to be honest 😆 You can try with it on for a month and off for the next and see how you like it :)
I would say it very much depends on the size and structure of your hand. I found it to be quite a comfortable and wholesome experience with a palm grip :)
@@JS_cs2 I was just writing some notes and got the Thorn in my hand to check for you! From what I can see now with a "true palm grip", my middle finger extends over the front end of end of the mouse just by a little!😊 (17.5x9)
Heyyyy.. thats a lot of options right there haha! and whats best for specific games is quite a personal thing. Hmm lets put brand aside on this one and I guess you are considering the Superlight 1 here. Perhaps what I could do is put out some questions that can help 1. Do you prefer an ergonomic or symmertical shape? 2. Do you want High Polling rates (>1000 Hz) as a option? 3. Is the lightest weight an important factor for you? 4. Would you prefer Optical Switches or Mechanical Switches? The games that you mentioned above are all FPS games. The games I play and used a Viper V2 Pro, Superlight 2 and Thorn with are Valorant, Cod, OW2, Diablo 4. All mice felt great for me in all games (Performance). However, Viper V2 Pro's shape I do not enjoy as much as the other two because the hump felt rather low. I prefer the hump to have a bit more contact with my hand while gripping :) Hope this helps a little!!
Hey i've just checked, though i'm not sure which region you reside in. But here's what I could find! - Fnatic Official Website - Lethal Gaming Gear - Max Gaming There is a listing on Amazon but it says it is unavailable. Perhaps maybe some viewers here can help!
Hello! I don't feel that way about it. Maybe the the length and size of our thumbs are different 😂 I'm sorry I don't have measurements for that at the moment
@@wasabitech I don’t have the thorn yet. Planning on buying, but watching reviews I feel like the side buttons are kinda too high. Thanks for the reply😁
Yes I have! With and without the 4K dongle. That thing is an aggressive claw grip weapon. A rather interesting shape for how feels more comfortable using an aggressive claw grip which is a grip that I don't personally use. The Pulsar X2H has a similar curvature on its sides but unfortunately that is a mouse I have yet to experience! I'll try to get my review of the Atlantis Mini 4K soon! Gotta rest my eyes a little first.
The Thorn does not come with a 4K dongle but it should come with Grip tape and extra feet. That's very odd. Try to get in touch with them and ask about this if you can!
Heya! For me it's the Xlite V3 Size 2 because I love the shape and feel of it (Personal preference) and it leans more towards the comfortable side for me. But I have to say that the Lamzu Thorn feels really good for gaming too! The Xlite is available in 3 sizes though and the Thorn only 1. Choose the one that has a size that works best for you :)
Ok I found my order confirmation and tracking in the email. Placed an order on 12 August and received it on 7 September. It took a longggg time but i'd imagine it would be quicker now because back then there were some delays with the first batch :)

I can't find it on their website and with my experience, the settings (DPI settings, color settings) seem to reset back to default after closing the software and powering on/off the mouse. Thorn is an ergonomic mouse, it makes it difficult to recommend with the info you provided 😅
But hmmm for me , as someone who enjoys using both Ergonomic and Symmetrical shapes, I do find the Thorn to be a lot more interesting than the Atlantis + the Thorn is newer and uses optical switches which is a huge plus for some people!
Yeah but then just lower it to 1000? I dont see any disadvantage to it being an option by default.
Hey there! :)
Hmm for a good palm grip with that hand size, you are right to feel concerned that the Thorn might be a little too small for you!
With your hand size, i'd imagine that it should feel a lot better with a palm grip :)
Just to note, the Xlite V3 has an original version and an ES version! Have a look on their website when you have the chance 😊
Keep it going!! u great
Cheers my friend! 🍻
What you think about Lamzy Maya?
I'll share my thoughts on it in an upcoming review! Possibly in the coming month :)
I have 20x10 hands logitech g pro superlight 2 felt extremely small to me. Is this mouse something to consider for big hands? Claw grip/Finger tip
Should i use the lamzu atlantis or the lamzu thorn? I palm grip kinda resting claw too my hands are upper medium size i think like 17 or 18 cm
Hey there! apologies for not getting back sooner. Was pretty busy planning more content.
By resting claw you mean a relaxed claw grip? Your hand size should be similar to mine! 17.5x9 😅
With that kind of grip I would say that the Lamzu Thorn would be better.
The shaped of the Atlantis Mini kind forces your hand to get into a Regular claw / Aggressive Claw grip which is interesting but not for everyone!
If you prefer a mouse with more comfort, the Thorn is the one to go with :)
If not you could consider the Lamzu Maya which has a very universal shape. I like to think of it as a Jack of all trades, master of none haha!
Hope this helps!!
@@wasabitech thanks yeah i ordered the thorn and the atlantis og v2 i actually got the atlantis today been using its really nice im gonna wait till my thorn comes in a couple days and give an opinion between the two
And which one did u end up liking more?
Yooo ur good
I am trying to find mouse to replace my prime wireless.
(if it helps)
The Thorn might feel like a size down due to the length of it (height of the two are almost the same)... and the Thorn would feel a lot lighter compared to the Prime Wireless.
Hey Wasabi, what's your main mouse currently?
Heya! I would say the Superlight 2 is the mouse that I use the most :)
i have a question, i want to buy this mouse but i read that is not possible to create different profile for different games, is that true?
Hey there! apologies for not getting back to you earlier.
Ping pong ball is a PERFECT comparison lol
😂
Hi, what does the motion sync option does? It is recommended to on or off it?
Hello :) So from my understanding, Motion Sync is a function that matches up the rate your mouse sends data with the rate your PC receives it.
The benefit is a "smoother" experience but a the cost of 1 ms of delay. You won't notice it to be honest 😆 You can try with it on for a month and off for the next and see how you like it :)
great video
thank you! @eatcats. wait eat cats? :O
I'v heard that the mosue is somehow bad for palm grip, but I cant believe that. Would you say its good for a "true" palm grip?
I would say it very much depends on the size and structure of your hand. I found it to be quite a comfortable and wholesome experience with a palm grip :)
@@wasabitech I see. Well, I have 17x9 cm hands and always use my hole palm
@@JS_cs2 I was just writing some notes and got the Thorn in my hand to check for you!
From what I can see now with a "true palm grip", my middle finger extends over the front end of end of the mouse just by a little!😊 (17.5x9)
@@wasabitech alright, ty🙏
what camera did you use for your videos this is what I want
The cam used on my main scene is a Sony ZV-E10 with a Sigma 16mm lens. A very capable combination for this style of recording I feel!
@@wasabitech I love your content bro!
can you review the pulsefire haste 2? wired/wireless??\
I don't have one with me now but I would be happy to share my thoughts and experience on them if I happen to get my hands on either :)
this or the da v3 pro? my hand size is about 19cm.
Hmmm i'd imagine that the DAV3P would be more comfortable for you than it is for me with that hand size! Thorn if you would like a lighter weight.
razer viper v2 pro vs g pro superlight vs lamzu which is good for cs2 and apex and cod
Heyyyy.. thats a lot of options right there haha! and whats best for specific games is quite a personal thing. Hmm lets put brand aside on this one and I guess you are considering the Superlight 1 here.
Perhaps what I could do is put out some questions that can help
I prefer the hump to have a bit more contact with my hand while gripping :)
Hope this helps a little!!
ty for info
but i have now razer deathadder V2 are you think i should change my mouse

Hi! where to buy thorn fnatic?
Hey i've just checked, though i'm not sure which region you reside in. But here's what I could find!
- Fnatic Official Website
- Lethal Gaming Gear
- Max Gaming
There is a listing on Amazon but it says it is unavailable.
Perhaps maybe some viewers here can help!
Hello friend!
Isn’t the side buttons too far way or too high from the thumb? My hand is the same size as yours
@@MarShaLx1 Ah i understand!! No problem 😄 Merry Christmas and Happy new year my friend!
have u already tried the lamzu atlantis mini ?
Mousepad used in the review?
Hello! The Mousepad with the wonderful print is the Esports Tiger Qinsui 3!
and for the black one in all of my videos, Artisan Ninja FX Zero XL (Soft)
My thorn didn't come with the 4k dongle and the grip tape and the extra feet
The Thorn does not come with a 4K dongle but it should come with Grip tape and extra feet. That's very odd. Try to get in touch with them and ask about this if you can!
This one or Xlite V3?
What did you pick?
how long did it take to ship out ?
Ok I found my order confirmation and tracking in the email. Placed an order on 12 August and received it on 7 September. It took a longggg time but i'd imagine it would be quicker now because back then there were some delays with the first batch :)
should i get it?
hi exelent bro
Great work Wasabi! I enjoyed this review a lot 🫡
Thank youuuu! Thats a nice profile pic!
