The explaination for the weight difference is the color. Because the plastic is white they need to add some chemicals to prevent it from getting yellow over time. This changes the density of the material and so on the overall weight.

They have a lot of support from both casual gamers and enthusiasts and I'm curious to test one out and share with everyone my thoughts and experiences with one :)
I use the mini with somewhat relaxed claw grip and it feels ok, but I do have tiny hands. Also I had to apply the grip tape on the sides which helped a lot, because I feel the default coating is quite slippy and combined with the aggressive tapering of the sides I didn't really feel in control at first. The grip tape helps against slipping and also makes the sides just that little bit wider to make it more comfortable for me. It made bigger difference than I expected it to.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the mouse!! Man I said this line many times before and I hope people don't start to think that I am a bot hahaha!!! But for real though, i'm sure quite a number of people would appreciate this.
I also had the issue with the coating. I ended up putting the grip tape meant for the side buttons on M1/2 as well and that has helped a lot with grip consistency
Back in the day, I used to Palm grip but when I tried small mice it changed to relaxed/claw and I think my aim is improved. Even on large mice now I still use to relaxed/claw grip and cant even go back to Palm. Haha!

Hello there! Hope all is well in India :) I do not have a Finalmouse Starlight Pro TenZ Edition or have the funds to get one at the moment because it is still incredibly expensive where I am from 😅 But maybe I can share some of my thoughts to help you out. No doubt that the Starlight Pro is a well-received magnesium chassis mouse but I hesitate on getting it just because of the following things that come to my mind. - Reports of QC issues of the mouse. Happens to every brand BUT with Finalmouse, their history on this topic is kinda rough. - The company has shifted its production focus onto its new UltralightX (all 3 sizes). What this means is that getting a replacement or coverage for the Starlights may be difficult (im not sure). I would get the Starlight Pro TenZ Edition only if... - I plan to keep the mouse as a collector's item. - I'm okay with the current tech and specs of the mouse. - Take my chances and hopefully get a perfect unit. and if not, I'm prepared to live with the issues. - I would like to give it a try and resell it if it's not something I like. Small-handed Claw grip users would feel right at home with the Lamzu Atlantis Mini 4K (I'm guessing the one that comes with the 4K dongle) - This lets you try out using the mouse at 4K if you haven't before. - It is very much still a highly recommended mouse today and one that I would recommend because of its price, performance, and mouse tech. This is as much as I can provide as I do not have hands-on experience with the Starlight Pro 😅🤞 Hope this helps!
dude your hand size is EXACTLY like mine. i struggeled to find a good confortable claw grip mouse. most close to perfect shape for me was viper mini or ajazz aj199 which i use now but it's a little big for me. do you still think in your opinion this is the best size/shape for claw with your hand size ?
Helloo I remember you!!! I felt really bad having to shut down the channel even though it was only 69 subscribers. I'm grateful to everyone who clicked that button. Oooo 10k is a big number!!! Lets do ittt 😃🙌
honestly this video really has me considering going for the atlantis mini would match with my blue backlight rk61, it’s lightweight, and the skates are very similar to my model o wireless skates so thats not a problem, i care a lot about side buttons and hearing about the mush of the gpx buttons really made it a dealbreaker along with the absurd price, the razer honestly feels right but i think i should try a smaller mouse as i have a 16.5 to 9 hand size, i use a xxl razer mousepad, what do you recommend for me?
I have gpx2, viper v2 pro, x2v2, Atlantis OG, Atlantis mini 4k and Lamzu maya. When I first got the Atlantis mini I thought it was too small so I got the bigger one but now I’ve really fell in love with the size. The quality is so good on all my Lamzu mice and the clicks are honestly the best I’ve ever used. They’re so satisfying. I play a very relaxed claw/fingertip grip and have hands about the same size as yours. You won’t be disappointed with the Atlantis mini. It’s almost flawless.
Hey there! Hmm side buttons are pretty important and if its a deal breaker for you, you'll enjoy the Atlantis Mini side buttons more than the GPX for sure. Also with your hand size, the Atlantis Mini would feel much better than a GPX. I could also recommend the Pulsar X2V2 Mini if you want something more flexible with the grip style. Atlantis mini's shape supports a claw grip very well.
Thank you my friend! But I must apologize as I do not have a console with me to test this out. But I did come across a recommendation for the Lamzu on a thread asking for suggestions on mice to use on the PS5.
Thank you for sharing this!! I myself am curious about the X2H Mini shape and want to pitch it against the Atlantis Mini! But how the launch QC of the X2H turned out had me worried so I may wait for a special edition version of it!🤣
good video, very nice presentation for not even having 1k (@ this time of me writing). i was on a kinda big buying spree the last 2 weeks and im now sitting on my desk with a total of 8 different mices. i bought 2 lamzu mices even though i didnt know much about them. its probably the bottom that got me hooked. i am somewhat of an palm/relax claw grip dude but i always had the struggle of tensioning up in stressful situations with the hope of getting more precice feel for the mouse in that moment of stress, if that makes sense? (im german so pardon my english) i got the atlantis mini and also was lucky enough to buy the Maya shortly after release before it got sold out, which it is atm xd i honestly dont know my hand size but i know what i wanted to change regarding my gripstyle. right now as i write i have the maya running and so far im far beyond impressed. the black coating is top tier, much better then my superlight. its super lightweight. it says 47grams on the box but for me its the lightest i have held. its lighter then the atlantis mini and also the shape fits my hand a bit more than the atlantis. so the atlantis is chilling a bit now. im very impressed with Lamzu, the design is great, i really like the bottom and that u can see the scrollwheel and all that, even though u dont look at it alot. only 2 things come in my mind which i do dislike, 1 of it which can be fixed by update maybe: the battery: is going down really quick but note here, i have it running on 4khz so it makes sense. no dealbreaker because u can play while running on cable or just simply use another mouse while loading. the 4k dongle: everytime i am switching from maya to atlantis i have to repair the mouse with the dongle because the software doesnt know it otherwise. when i switch to the atlantis the software shows me still that my maya is connected and running even though i have turned the maya off. after repairing the mouse disconnects and reconnects itself and the software shows the atlantis. other than that, i think im gonna buy the thorn next month most likely just for the backplate x)
I can tell that you are someone who appreciates design quite a fair bit! I have noticed that my grip tends to tense up too when I run different mice through a couple courses of Aimlabs haha! Danke! Thank you for writing this comment in english, this is very kind of you. I would recommend measuring your hand size with a ruler when you get the chance! I think it would be helpful to you when more mice that catch your interest come up :) That note you mentioned on the 4K dongle is a little strange because when switching between my Atlantis Mini Pro and the Thorn, they connect just fine without having to repeat the pairing process. Make sure you've updated both of your mice and the 4K dongle as well! If not, I would write in an email to check with Lamzu just to be sure. The Thorn is an exceptional mouse and I feel that its the one mouse this year that got the most praises since its release. Do check out the Pulsar Xlite V3's that have been just only released in November. I think it would be something worth looking at if you are interested in the ergonomic shape. But I can imagine you would want to go for the Thorn and have the full Lamzu collection 😅✌🏻
I have 18x8cm hand and find small mouses with size around 11x6cm or 12x6cm to be sweet spot (small mouse) and i wonder this mouse would be good for my 18x8cm hand or not (using claw grip btw) or you recommend others {ps: xlite v3 mini isnt on sell in my country}
I'd prefer the White Coloway over the Elegant Blue 😅😅 the reason why I picked the white colorway (besides liking white) is because I felt that the White and blue color combination is the most fitting for the "Atlantis" name! I do like a white and blue combination but maybe its the materials or the simple lines make it look cheaper than it is. I do not have much of an impression on the Elegant Blue colorway. The scroll wheel on that one is white though.. I wonder if it would get stained overtime!
Is it easier to be fast and accurate with a small ambi mouse or an ergo mouse like the thorn? Ive had the Atlantis mini for a while now but been wondering if i should get an ergo mouse.
I'd say it's easier to be fast with lightweight mouse, but the shape is just about the preference. Neither shape benefits specifically speed or accuracy. Pick whatever feels more comfortable.
That's a good question~ What I noticed (and I may be wrong) , is that they feel like the same coating, just that the Thorn has a thicker application of the coating over the Atlantis mini. It seems like this is the case just by holding the two under a bright light.
Helloo! The difference between a Mini Pro and the OG V2 (if this is the particular V2 you are referring to) is the size and the MCU. Mini Pro has the Nordic MCU which allows it to be used with the 4K Dongle. The Atlantis Lineup is pretty confusing!
@@KGR_r There is no "V2 Mini". You might be thinking of difference between Mini 4k and Mini Pro. There aren't any differences, Mini 4k just comes bundled with 4k receiver, Mini Pro is sold without it. But they are the same mice - apart from available color schemes for both.
@@wasabitech Yeah pretty sad, I bought it from Amazon and today arrived, when I opened the box, the dot skates wasn't there. I think two possibilities: 1- Doesn't come anymore from factory (this isn't rare since Lamzu did the same with 2nd batch of Atlantis V1, they removed the glass skates). 2- Someone from shipping or customs removed them from my unit. Conclusion: I don't know XD

im very impressed with Lamzu, the design is great, i really like the bottom and that u can see the scrollwheel and all that, even though u dont look at it alot.
only 2 things come in my mind which i do dislike, 1 of it which can be fixed by update maybe:
the battery:

the 4k dongle:
everytime i am switching from maya to atlantis i have to repair the mouse with the dongle because the software doesnt know it otherwise.
when i switch to the atlantis the software shows me still that my maya is connected and running even though i have turned the maya off. after repairing the mouse disconnects and reconnects itself and the software shows the atlantis.

That note you mentioned on the 4K dongle is a little strange because when switching between my Atlantis Mini Pro and the Thorn, they connect just fine without having to repeat the pairing process.
I have 18x8cm hand and find small mouses with size around 11x6cm or 12x6cm to be sweet spot (small mouse) and i wonder this mouse would be good for my 18x8cm hand or not (using claw grip btw) or you recommend others {ps: xlite v3 mini isnt on sell in my country}
I know the struggle with the partnership program, just watched this whole video. I'll help you out dude!
Thank you for this! I really appreciate your understanding and support :)) Have a great day!
you too!@@wasabitech
I see that you didn't like the white colorway but what do you think of the elegant blue with white accent colorway?
I'd prefer the White Coloway over the Elegant Blue 😅😅 the reason why I picked the white colorway (besides liking white) is because I felt that the White and blue color combination is the most fitting for the "Atlantis" name! I do like a white and blue combination but maybe its the materials or the simple lines make it look cheaper than it is. I do not have much of an impression on the Elegant Blue colorway. The scroll wheel on that one is white though.. I wonder if it would get stained overtime!
i dont know if i should get the mini or the regular one... 19x8cm hands relaxed claw grip -> logitech g pro user
With that hand size I would suggest the reg. but there are some people with larger hands than mine who just enjoy using a mini sized mouse! :)
i bought the new darmoshark mini 3s pro@@wasabitech
Is it easier to be fast and accurate with a small ambi mouse or an ergo mouse like the thorn? Ive had the Atlantis mini for a while now but been wondering if i should get an ergo mouse.
I'd say it's easier to be fast with lightweight mouse, but the shape is just about the preference. Neither shape benefits specifically speed or accuracy. Pick whatever feels more comfortable.
@@panvlk micro adjustments are easier when u don't have a mouse touching your palm though but the comfort is my issue

Hey thank you! for watching my content😊 I'm still improving haha! I'll do my best
Is the coating of the thorn better or the same in comparison?
That's a good question~ What I noticed (and I may be wrong) , is that they feel like the same coating, just that the Thorn has a thicker application of the coating over the Atlantis mini. It seems like this is the case just by holding the two under a bright light.
when you already subbed on all you alt accounts
I like this channel
thank you for saying that! It means a lot to me :)
What is the diffrence between the mini pro and the V2 they have the same specs and same everything
Helloo! The difference between a Mini Pro and the OG V2 (if this is the particular V2 you are referring to) is the size and the MCU. Mini Pro has the Nordic MCU which allows it to be used with the 4K Dongle.
The Atlantis Lineup is pretty confusing!
@@wasabitech I have 4k with my V2 mini
@@KGR_r There is no "V2 Mini". You might be thinking of difference between Mini 4k and Mini Pro. There aren't any differences, Mini 4k just comes bundled with 4k receiver, Mini Pro is sold without it. But they are the same mice - apart from available color schemes for both.
@@panvlk my box clearly says v2 pro
@@KGR_r Well, yeah, "V2 Pro" is a mouse, but it's the full size version, not a Mini. There is no "V2 mini" you are referencing in your previous post.
In the new batches the dot skates doesn’t come anymore 😭
Wuttt no way! are you sure about this? Seems a little strange to remove them from the package..
Conclusion: I don't know XD
just subscried
Thank you for supporting 😃

Hello my friend! I'm sorry, I don't quite understand but thank you very much for watching and writing in the comments 😃
Game name?
That was some of my gameplay in Overwatch 2 :)
To be honest you are very sympathetic but the speech on every video makes me cringe somehow. Iam subscribed and i also like every Video, because i appreciate the time and afford you put in it, but it may or may not cringe other people that leave instantly just saying. Anyways if you want to remind us etc. maybe try to do it at the end.
Greeting from germany :)
Thank you for your comment!! I do "review" my reviews and have noticed it myself. I continue to tweak how I present myself and articulate my words with every video! I hope that my latest review of the Xlite V3 eS has improved on those points! Thank you so much for your support 🙏
