we finally got your thoughts on this! been enjoying mine for awhile now, i got the red version, decided to ditch my finalmouse ulx and superlight for this, would really recommend this mouse
Great video. Happy to have watched 6 months after it's release. If the Maya, for my own gaming use was already my second go choice (a mouse with an excelent performence - I have it in the imperial red color), we now have another Maya with upgraded internals and likely also better performance, the Lamzu Maya Doodle (from 26k dpi to 30k; same mcu; 4k to 8k polling rate with the same weight), sensor pixart 3395 to the pixart 3950). Already got one, still waiting on arrival, but it will be my first or second go to mouse (let's see how it goes toe to toe with my current 1st go to mouse, the also very recent razer viper v3 pro, which is a beast even compared to the previous v2pro with worst hand grip due to those cut awful bumps near the main buttons). Cheers. Also you got a new sub here.
My palm size is the same as yours, but the width is 10cm. I just bought a Lamzu yesterday and have always used a large ergonomic mouse like the g402. This is my first time using a small mouse. I am still adapting to this mouse with my special grip technique.
@wasabitech looks like a palm grip but if you look from the side it looks like a claw grip with the fingers raised but not the fingertips. its looks weird
I never saw someone compare this mouse to the viper v3 but I just realized that the shapes are very similar. The viper v3 is just a lot bigger and maybe the hump is a bit further back.
what would you recommend between Ninjutso sora 4k & Lamzu maya? And also which of the mice has better side buttons? I mainly play FPS games. Great content btw!
@@wasabitech width is like the most important part though i swear haha once I noticed I aim better with thinner mice I always check that out on eloshapes before buying a new mouse maybe I just overthink though, my favourite mouse shape atm is the g wolves htx just because its super flat perfect ftip
@@ad6m. I have yet to experience a Gwolves mouse! Curious to see what the new HT-R looks like hehe. Thank you for sharing this with me btw!! I appreciate it :)
im really considering the maya now, but i seem to have taken a liking to less of a relaxed claw and more of a normal claw, mice with completely flat sides make it feel really hard to hold, but i have no experience with back hump mice, does anyone have recommendations?
You could give the Atlantis Mini Pro a try! That mouse has a good shape for a Relax/Aggressive claw or if not a X2V2 from Pulsar is a good recommendation too!! Though there have been a few reports on the Optical switches causing trouble.
It seems we have about the same size hand, and like the pretty similar mouse grip. I wish I could have a mouse with a high hump at the rear of the mouse, like the mz1 has but a bit shorter.
i was considering this one vs the wlmouse beast x since they have similar specs and shit just with a price difference of like 30ish dollars. I might get it but i saw the la-1 on sale due to their new warehouse also i don't mind the small flex issue (probably, i just ordered it last night)
Hey! Remember me?😅 I ended up returning my rk 61 to save for the wooting, and i was actually considering the maya over the atlantis now, and now with this video you got me really stressed if i should i get the atlantis mini or the maya, i returned my viper v2 pro because the hump just didnt satisfy me along with the placement of the side buttons, sad since i got it on special, but the hump just wasnt enough especially with the length of the mouse , i was forced into very aggresive claw which i didnt really enjoy, and the side buttons being farther behind where i gripped the mouse made it worse, i still dont know if i should get the lamzu atlantis mini or maya, but im considering the pulsar you recommended me as well, if you dont remember i use relaxed claw, please help again!!
Hellooo how're you doing :) Haha, no problem. I guess if you are considering choosing between these two mice (Maya & Atlantis), your preference leans toward the symmetrical shape. With your preference of a relaxed claw grip, I would recommend the Maya over the Atlantis Mini! My concern is that you may find the shape of the Atlantis to force your hand into an aggressive claw grip (which you don't enjoy. The Maya is a smaller mouse and less flat than the Viper V2 Pro shape. You'll find the hump on a Maya to be more prominent :) The Maya is a much newer mouse and the safest option with its universal shape so this is what I would recommend for you based on the details I have haha🤣 When they release a new Atlantis, you can consider giving that a try in future :)
@@wasabitechim doing good thanks, im really grateful for your help with this, now im just considering if i should get the maya in white or the white pulsar x2v2, what do you think?
@@wasabitechand although im not really for aggresive claw, i dont mind normal claw and my hand size plus my trust in amazon is really making me lean towards the x2v2 mini😭
@@JancarlosHernandez10 hey bro just wanna help you a little. i have owned the x2v2 mini and wanting to buy this lamzu maya. for me i will stick with the pulsar x2v2 mini cuz it got more nice features and more fun to use. i use to put a grip tape on every mouse i owned but when i got this x2v2 mini, i dont even have to use a grip tape on it due to comfortably grip and smooth coating of the mouse. also save up for wooting is nice because now a days a simple keyboard won't be noticeable in gaming.
Hello! So sorry for getting back late. If you haven't decided, I would suggest to really think through which mouse type you want to use for idk the next 6 months or 2 years. If a good ergo is what you want to main, go for the Lamzu Thorn and if a symmetrical shape is what you prefer to use, go with the Maya. It really comes down to the shape but if you are still unsure on what you would like, the best bet would be to go with the Maya for its universal shape that works well for many people.
will you do a ragnok mice review? if so I can pass it to you personally to review it hehehehehe 😈 (also nice vid, would u recommend this mice to someone who's been using the viper ultimate for quite sometime?)
Hello!! You mean that gun handle looking mouse? :P I could have a look into it haha!!! It would be a nice upgrade from a Viper Ultimate! Of all mice, I felt like the Maya was the closest to the Viper🤗

I really enjoy your channel. I think I can relate to your experiences because we seem to have similar hand sizes 😂. I'm curious, do you prefer Lamzu Thorn or Maya? I know they have different shapes and switches, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Hellooo! Thank you so much :) These two mice are completely different shapes so I'll share some things that comes to mind :) I personally prefer the Lamzu Maya. I enjoy how its a great all rounder that I use for daily work and casual games as well and when it comes to doing those two things, I find myself casually switching between different grips and sometimes holding the mouse sideways just for the fun of it. Of course this is not to say that the Maya isn't good for competitive gaming haha! But for competitive I would prefer using the Lamzu Thorn because of it's size and wider base that makes my aiming feel more planted and consistent.
we finally got your thoughts on this! been enjoying mine for awhile now, i got the red version, decided to ditch my finalmouse ulx and superlight for this, would really recommend this mouse
