I'll admit as firmly as I am in the "you're free to your opinion" camp, it physically hurt me how underappreciated Opening 26 was for both visuals and music as both an animation student and a knowing how hard they went on the instrumentation for the song and vocals. I know Opening 25 was gorgeous, but god it hurts when something's undermined just because they decided to go for something different. I fully agree that Opening 26's visuals are beautiful. I'm pretty sure, I said it was carried by the visuals, but wasn't quite feeling the song that high on the list. It's just a first run through, might be that 25 was a touch act to follow.
Exactly. We Go, We are and Ussu all sit at the same table for me regarding openings. Ussu is top of the list when it comes to animation, they went IN on that and it SUCKS that it wasn’t appreciated more by the fanbase

From a point of view of someone that hasn't seen the anime, her putting the opening on B tier it's completely fine. When i hasn't watched OP i didn't liked the op 25, and now it's like... MY FAVORITE alongside 26, bc NOW i have watched the whole anime. So, what i'm tryna say it's that u gotta have the context of the things to even assimilate some songs and meaning of the openings.
like, I just didn't understand anything about your criteria, which used to be "hype shounen" and after 14 you understood that there isn't just that in shounen, and 15 which is 100% "shounen" almost put it in D. Like, every opening represents each arc, it's not really something that summarizes the general "feeling" of One Piece, which I would think of as shounen, as it has much more to feel beyond that. And 15 is after time skip, that's the reason of the "we go" And like, in the end, in this confusion, it was just decided that the criteria became sounds to listen to in a playlist, and totally ignore all the work on the animation. And this criterion is very inconvenient when you still claim that you have a "bad taste" in music. And 26 is literally art. Good video :3
also the reason it's We Go because it's the first one with the original We Are singer, Hiroshi Kitadani. He also did We Can, Over the Top and Us after that.
The full song to opening 25 is so beautiful and always keeps me energized in the morning. And it’s even more beautiful when you read the lyrics to the song. Glad to see someone else loving it, my friend group hates it and that broke my heart lol
Love how even without you being caught up, just watching Op 25 can make people feel joyful. That is Luffy's Character to a T! He can always bring a smile to our faces.
putting opening 13 in tier C list is a crime for humanity... putting opening 20 in tier C list is abomination... opening 9-24 is long but opening 25 onwards are shorter because they bring back the endings after freaking 17 yrs....
@@chelzorthedestroyer just kidding but the video you used is kinda has potato quality.. probably the uploader download all videos from individual videos on youtube and put it all together.. you doing the endings 1-20?
As someone who's caught up with the manga, all of the details in OP 26 paired with the song and artstyle are so beautiful and it makes me emotional and excited every time I see it. It's the best opening in my opinion (ignoring nostalgia for the early openings.) The art direction was such an amazing decision, meant to look futuristic and simplistic like it's modern due to the themes of Egghead Island, but easy to draw after the insane detail of Wano. It truly captures the spirit and awe of One Piece in my view. Btw don't rewatch it or pause and look at things too hard because it's borderline ILLEGAL how many spoilers they put in it for not only big character moments but also HUGE reveals and story moments. Basically every scene is a spoiler for something. The only thing they tried to hide was a certain swordsman but even that's obvious if you pause and look at the right place..
@@chelzorthedestroyer after sitting through 1000+ Episodes then yeah theres a reason we'd be mad lol but its also a very well done opening compared to OP 25 in terms of animation and art..
Cool thing about OP 25 is that circle stays consistent as a 'window' through most of the animation. Every scene has characters looking through/interacting with/walking past that 'window'.
I appreciate the appreciation. There's an additional layer to the significance of what may be a hole in the ceiling, yet saying more would truly qualify this as a spoiler.
yeah that was kinda of at the point where the logic for why one song was good and one wasn't stopped making sense, its the most bombastic shonen opening you could make but apparently it wasn't good like ???? but idk what I expected from someone 40 episodes in
Opening 15 "We Go" was meant as a continuation to "We are", since it was the first oprning for the 2nd part of One Piece, they are even sung by the same person
When watching Anime Opening reactions, I have noticed a pattern. Some reactors primarily focus on the music. As long as the music is catchy, memorable, or emotional, they will rate the Opening highly. Other reactors primarily focus on the visuals. As long as the visuals are cool, artsy, or eye catching, they will rate the Opening highly. It seems like Chelzor prefers music more when she rates anime openings.
The vid is good and fun but ngl the criteria for ranking was kinda all over the place tbh. One thing about OP is that your perception of what “OP sounds like” will change since it’s such a veritable series so as you go along you might appreciate some of the openings more 😁👌
Well I was open about the criteria for ranking would be based on my vibes at the time. So all over the place was going to be how it went. I'm sure appreciation changes when you understand whats going on in the arc more.
I always love watching someone new going through the series, I hope you enjoy it as much as a lot of us do. Opening 26 is my favorite, possibly recency bias and knowing everything that's upcoming (side note you picked possibly the best time to catch up because the end is coming). Hiroshi Kitadani did We Are, and they've brought him back a lot. He did "We Go", "We Can", "Over the Top", and the last one "Uuuuus".
the opening 26 is perfeeeect, same singer of we are, we go, and over the top (the first wano opening), all of his openings are fire but you don't like them except we are that is in S tier, wtf
I mean the title literally says "Ranking", not "Review". If this video hurts you that much then you shouldn't have watched it as soon as you saw the title. This is my first time I actually disagree with the OP fandom because of the fact that they can't handle opinions often. I usually defend OP cuz of the fact that typical OP haters criticize the show as if they've watched the entire show and call it an "opinion" which is ridiculous, but in this case, it's different. The fact that the video got 300 dislikes made me disappointed with the fandom
@@SolarisPhoenix42069 I guess that goes for pretty much every fandom, but yeah just because you like something that doesn't mean it can't be criticized, it does hurt on my soul to hear these opinions but I wouldn't hate or attack anybody for it.
The reason "Superpowers" felt so disjointed was because parts of it were repeated, since the opening had multiple versions with different visuals, and the video looped to show the different parts
I feel that opening 26 is the ultimate treat to those who've caught up to the series to that point because of the nostalgia and emotional weight it carries from all it's arcs. I don't blame you for putting it in B only because you put 25 in S tier, but I hope if you ever catch up to one piece and give opening 26 another listen ❤️
I feel like some people that view openings blindly not knowing what Onepiece is about will have completely different opinions with someone who has watch Onepiece anime, because some One Piece openings really just fits in with the arc it based on. Especially Hope, Fight Together, The Peak, etc.
I'm afraid I don't know what your talking about, I imagine that happens in an opening, but I don't know any "previous outfits" since it's a blind reaciton.
It'd be cool to see a revisit of this if/when you're caught up to see if the context chnages your opinions. I also love that you immediately ranked op 25 in S tier despite not having the emotional damage of 1000+ chapters
I really enjoyed your video. Great vibes, loved your explanations for the rankings: I too feel that "we go" and "we can" are bombastic, they are also shallow. My favorite is the circle motif one, I discovered it one week ago.
Opening 25 is actually quite genius in its direction, but it takes a teensy bit of plot/arc knowledge. During the arc, we learn about the journey of a certain character, us through flashbacks and another character learns through a dairy kept by their father which tells an amazing but also tragic tale. This opening is that same character writing his own diary and experiences down. In the first half (vague imagery in circle) he writes about all the hard parts, and the things that followed almost literally showed him the light and hope as he and the people in Wano are finally able to move on as they had been praying for (hence wish lanterns). So many of the scenes shown are supportive and lighthearted in nature, which is something the character had not been able to embrace prior to that because he felt he could not be weak and had to grow up quickly to finish his fathers work and save Wano, and the fish-eye approach gives you that vibe of him seeing things in an innocent and fun way like a little kid should see the world. It is an amazing conclusion to an arc that went on for-literally-ever. Those episodes also brought back the ending songs to One Piece, and ending 19 is a similarly wonderfully animated mood that you ought to check out.
I love latest opening so much, def my favourite. Its always interesting to see people with different opinions. Like most openings you rated low are one of my favourite.
This is the first time i heard someone not liking OP 26 that much, but i respect that. For me, OP 26 went hard on the instrumentals of the song and the animation which I absolutely love. The lyrics fits considering the current situation they're in and the mysteries unraveling. Tbh, initially i didn't like it as much as the others, that is until I caught up in the manga. Now, Opening 26 on a new perspective is the most majestic and epic opening I've seen. I think you gotta need contexts to actually like the openings more, so i understand you not liking it much at first. Anyways good list 👌
As someone up to date i think that was a pretty fair tier list, there is barely no nostalgia and no context, so its a true first impression. On other note, could I please stop crying whenever 25 plays!?
Opening 26 is insanely good, top 3 for me. The transitioning edits, the animation , art style , and the content with the character clashing. That last transition with Luffy looking directly , is just raw
My favorite openings are Opening 15, Opening 20, Openings 24-26, and Opening 18. They're all so good! The artistry in both Openings 25 and 26 are fantastic! Both directed by the same person, Megumi Ishitani. Opening 25 is celebrating the end of Wano so it's everyone at a festival celebrating defeating the bad guy. We Go, Over the Top and Us are all by the person who also did We Are
Naturally everyone likes different things and I actually felt most of these were fair, but I got a bit frustrated when you started saying that it got docked ranks because 'the video carried it'. Like, I get the concept and even agree that context makes them all more impactful and endearing, but you aren't reacting and ranking JUST the song itself or you wouldn't be watching the videos at all. You're reacting to the whole package, the entire opening. And the entire opening includes the video. Idk, it just felt unfair to say an opening wasn't as good because it needed half of what makes it an opening to BE good. It feels like it's actually a better opening when the video can enhance it to such an extent when you don't have deeper context. Hope that made sense. Otherwise good video!
You're all good. I had some trouble with the visuals, so I probably went full audio. See I run anime conventions and go to Tokyo often. So I can't be like "oh, when did Zoro get a scar over his eye?" or "Who is this new crew member". I've seen it, even though I've never watched One Piece. So I don't want to spoil myself too much either, making me a bit more song-focused.
i think the main thing for me is that the openings remind me of the story, which heavily affects how much i like the songs, main favorites are most of the early ones, up to enies lobby or so, other part is marineford arc(and the ones leading up to it)
Some of the takes were crazy fr, but nowhere near as crazy as some of these people in the comments, people out here getting vexed or genuinely upset, y'all need to go outside more 😂
We Go is the same artist as We Are so it not fair to say it’s trying too hard to be we are. It’s just the same artist. Edit: on finishing the video, I’m pretty sure you just like We Are as much as you do because it’s so nostalgic/iconic for being the first opening to One Piece and it’s a good song, on top of the million different instrumental versions that float around for specific scenes. I’m convinced without that context you would’ve put in about B tier just based on where you placed songs with a similar vibe, and that’s assuming you like we are particularly more than the other songs with that same vibe.
Y'all made this a super successful video though. It got so many comments the algorithm is going crazy ^_^. Thank you for enjoying the destruction my vibes have made.
@@fruitfuI I mean, I'm just a rookie hobbiest having fun with all the interaction. If a video gets this much algorithm interaction, I am pretty much hyper-encouraged to do videos like this again.
I respect a lot of your opening opinions, especially considering that this was blind. So there was a lot of missing context with where the story was at for you. In opening 12, when you said it didn't feel like a One Piece opening. IIRC, That was around the time there was a massive earthquake in Japan and they needed to change the tone of the opening with a different song and make it more uplifting. So, yeah, it felt weird and out of place. Opening 20, for a lot of people were super excited for it cause we were stuck with the last two openings for like... 160 episodes where they carried the same vibes. So to have the vibes change completely helped endear us all to it pretty fast. Opening 25 and 26 require a bit of context imo. You understood 25 really well immediately. It's English title is Peak for a reason. It's Luffy attaining his peak as the person that inspires hope and freedom to all and the opening reflects that a lot. It also served as a book closing for the Wano arc, something that had been going on for 4 years in the anime. It culminated into this very beautiful send off. While 26 serves sort of as a reboot of the story. It's the beginning of the end. This marks the start of the final saga in one piece. The energy in the song is there to show us we're still going strong, and it's still goofy, in fact even more goofy now that Luffy is at his peak. I disagree with you that the visuals carried the song, because I think they were made for each other, but I can respect your perspective as well.
Oh, thanks for all the information. I'm afraid I don't have that context, and will probably forget it as I go though my One PIece journey, but thank you!

S- Her take may seem bad, but it's 100% warranted considering each opening (given few exceptions) embodies whatever part in the story we are in, so each opening sounds like the best opening depending on what arc you're on. Also, every anime opening has spoilers, but they don't if you don't know there are spoilers so y'all gotta shut!
To be fully fair for the Superpowers - it was a rare occasion where One Piece actually did versions of an opening. V2 fixes a lot of issues and makes some scenes much more hype. It's not that great of a song (super repetitive and generic), but it's probably one of the first moments, where there have been a better budget for the opening fighting scenes. And considering it was an opening for one of the longest fights in the whole series and probably one of the longest in history of anime? It's at least B in my opinion. For the V1, I probably would put it in C, especially without all the context hidden in actual opening? And with Fight Together and Hope - it's good prelude to the era where One Piece finally decided to make proper modern openings, with Dreaming On probably being the first really well orchestrated, directed and animated opening (with average quality song). Like this is the final jump in quality before like last few most modern openings. With the Peak definitely fighting for a spot in my top 10 best openings of all time and definitely winning number 1 spot for 2023.

Everyone being big mad about your opinion is super funny to me. Like, those of us who are watching this, love the OPs largely due to all the context that makes them so significant to us. You can't go off that obviously so the best you can do is speak on how you feel about them from a musical stand point. Which right away is gonna be incredibly subjective, on top of how you're ranking them more based off how likely you are to put them in a playlist. And OPs are gonna be hit or miss in that department when you have no context to a song sung in a language you don't understand. For me, I think considering your perspective, this was a really respectable ranking. I was mostly sad over how you felt about 26, but after 25 I can totally get it. That's all my 2 cents anyway, thanks for the reaction! :)

In terms of animation (especially composition, creativity and color choices) nothing beats OP 26. You should definitely give it another watch (although I like 25 more because of how special it is for One Piece).
@@chelzorthedestroyer You definitely should ! It's directed by Megumi Ishitani, she's an absolute genius director, most of the best One Piece episodes are directed by her aswell. If you want to check out some of her work, "Scutes on my mind" is really great and short, one of her student works (collaboration effort, of course, but she was the director).
I hope she'll change her Tier List as she's watching the show. Watch the intro in every episode when you're safe to watch it. That way, if you hear the song, you'll be reminded of the anime and the specific arc. Then, memories will rush through your head, and the emotions when you're watching it 😊

1:42:41 I am not sure if someone has told you about what this means yet, but if they have sorry 😅. Anyway the Kinda circle shows the events of the land of wano. And like you said after and during your first viewing of OP 25 it has this hopeful feeling like "they made it", and you couldn't of been more right. Basically the circle is just showing what they made it through; the struggles. Then showing luffy laughing with the sun glimming off of him. Again, sorry if someone has told you, but I just wanted to clear that up (ik this is a blind viewing so I am not mad you found that weird) SPOILERS BELOW SO DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED: The guy at the end of the opening (kozuki momonosuke, the dude who shed a tear btw) was the one writing the events down in the book, which is shown at the beginning of OP 25 which his father (kozuki oden) did after his travel with (VERY IMPORTANT PIRATE) so it feels fitting that his son did that too. ESPECIALLY AFTER WHAT HAPPENED IN WANO like yikes he went through some shit. iykyk.
One Piece is way above being just a fighting/shounen anime. No you cannot classify it just under that genre anymore. That's why so many I believe there is need for any fixed expectations of a vibe from the openings. They can be varied. ( I loved OP 12 by the way, more so because of the context)
There was only like 1 opening that I didn’t like, I think the rest are either S tier or A tier, I am also a firm believer that the context of the arcs helped me like them WAY more than I thought it would, there’s also afew “grow on you” openings like the “over the top” opening, I didn’t like it at all until I watched in more during the episodes and now it’s one of my top 7 out of all of them😂😂
Some of these openings, rather than aiming for a broad overall vibe of shounen action adventure, are setting the tone for particular parts of the story. 13 is a prime example of this. You perceiving it as so different from other openings and not fitting your expected vibe is definitely because it was instead matching the vibe of that part of the story specifically.

And 15 is after time skip, that's the reason of the "we go"
And like, in the end, in this confusion, it was just decided that the criteria became sounds to listen to in a playlist, and totally ignore all the work on the animation.
The one with Luffy in white hair? It was so beautiful!!!!

I'm happy you love that opening so much, and it means so much to you ^_^.
"song is ok" on opening 26 physically HURTSSS 🥲

Cool thing about OP 25 is that circle stays consistent as a 'window' through most of the animation. Every scene has characters looking through/interacting with/walking past that 'window'.
That is super cool! I didn't notice, but that is neat!!!
I appreciate the appreciation. There's an additional layer to the significance of what may be a hole in the ceiling, yet saying more would truly qualify this as a spoiler.
'we go' slander is funny when you consider that it was written by the same guy that wrote op 1 'we are'.

Freedom and Joy is the perfect way to describe opening 25
I know! Right!
Gulp, I see what you did there😳
Opening 15 "We Go" was meant as a continuation to "We are", since it was the first oprning for the 2nd part of One Piece, they are even sung by the same person
I've been told, very nice that they used the same people for another song.
Wait you are the guy that does isekai dnd and one piece dnd stat board thingys you are goated
I do like concerts, so music over visuals are my focus.
Thank you for reaching out! I'm on my way! lol
Very cool. I can hear the resemblance in the songs ^_^.
Well, to be fair, most prefer the OG We Are to the VA version in general. They get singing lessons before the next OP they're in.
It's perfectly good, but the original is S tier, lol
I love the focus on the center of the screen during peak, it’s also the best one piece op in my opinion but that one visual gets me every time
It was a very beautiful piece
Which one. You mean 14?
the opening 26 is perfeeeect, same singer of we are, we go, and over the top (the first wano opening), all of his openings are fire but you don't like them except we are that is in S tier, wtf
I mean, the same artists don't make equally tiered songs every time. Besides, the ratings are based on vibes. Unpredictable is really how vibes work.
And he also did we can, another great one
I personally think comparing openings to each other in order to judge them is a poor way of reviewing
Yea I felt like that skewed a lot of the rankings in the vid tbh
And I love the fact she doesn’t give a sh@t about what’s happening in the openings..
Vibes are effected by other openings, and the criteria were ranking them based on the vibes I felt at the time, lol.
Fair enough. I was just going through a playlist, so a few things could have come out weird.
I'm sure if/when I catch up, I'll hear it as I watch the episodes ^_^.

I feel like some people that view openings blindly not knowing what Onepiece is about will have completely different opinions with someone who has watch Onepiece anime, because some One Piece openings really just fits in with the arc it based on. Especially Hope, Fight Together, The Peak, etc.
Of course, blind openings give people new perspectives.
I don't know why but watching the group go through all of their previous outfits in the last opening is really cool to me
I'm afraid I don't know what your talking about, I imagine that happens in an opening, but I don't know any "previous outfits" since it's a blind reaciton.
You are in the minority. Many felt the destruction of my vibes, lol.
I fucking tear up EVERYTIME I hear "Fight Together"
That's a solid sad and hopeful response.
Even knowing nothing, you can tell the beauty of it in the opening alone. PUre S tier
I love latest opening so much, def my favourite. Its always interesting to see people with different opinions. Like most openings you rated low are one of my favourite.

It's all ranked on my vibes, lol
This is the first time i heard someone not liking OP 26 that much, but i respect that. For me, OP 26 went hard on the instrumentals of the song and the animation which I absolutely love. The lyrics fits considering the current situation they're in and the mysteries unraveling. Tbh, initially i didn't like it as much as the others, that is until I caught up in the manga. Now, Opening 26 on a new perspective is the most majestic and epic opening I've seen. I think you gotta need contexts to actually like the openings more, so i understand you not liking it much at first. Anyways good list 👌
Hello ^_^. Thank you. I don't know Miko very much, but I'm connected with people who know her well!
i really feel like We Are left such an impact that she ended up biased against the other Kitadani songs lol
That is possible, lol.
As someone up to date i think that was a pretty fair tier list, there is barely no nostalgia and no context, so its a true first impression.
On other note, could I please stop crying whenever 25 plays!?
I appreciate the validation
Opening 26 is insanely good, top 3 for me. The transitioning edits, the animation , art style , and the content with the character clashing. That last transition with Luffy looking directly , is just raw
That was so fun! Thank you so much Chelzor. I had a great time.
I had a lot of fun with this one too!
We Go, Over the Top and Us are all by the person who also did We Are
You have such a positive passion for your Openings. I'm happy you have such a good time.
What the hell did i just watch?
Hmmm, Idk what to explain first. Vtubers, Ranking lists, Anime Openings, One Piece, Anime, Lol
The ranking hurt 💀 but everyone has their opinion

Yall got me fucked up over the reactions to 26. It’s fucking *gorgeous*.
I'd argue that it's perfectly acceptable for the same artist to try hard to replicate their earlier successful song.

I really appreciate you being true to yer feelings.

@@chelzorthedestroyer your gonna be the destroyed when I'm through with you!
I'm happy to hear your opinions. You are 100% valid in all your opinions and I hope you liked my rankings, blind and silly as they might be.

Thank you for your comment! I know fans are passionate about their fandoms. The ranking was fun, even if it stirred the pot a bunch, lol.
Opening 14 "sad and puts hope in your chest like fuck" 😂 i say i like sad songs 😅😂 makes me feel emotional about old friendships & sibling love.
Yea, 14 was a great piece
The judgement criteria was really... Something, I agree with most of the comments, but I'll give view and like for One Piece anyday ❤
Haha, judgment criteria are just vibes. Enjoy the destruction my vibes have left! lol
@@chelzorthedestroyer lol will not mind it then 😂
Wow. First VTuber I find that's not to keen on dolphins. What's your take on Shylily? The orca(killer whale) that her avatar is partially based on is technically a dolphin(porpoise).
Haha, I just dislike real dolphins. Shylily is cute from what I've seen. I actually know very little about other Vtubers outside of my friends.
@@chelzorthedestroyer Gotcha. And if it's any consolation. Dolphins tend to be jerks most of the time. In the 1970s, while some crew were filming an episode of The Love Boat, a dolphin, um..."got its rocks off" on one of the actresses.
In terms of animation (especially composition, creativity and color choices) nothing beats OP 26. You should definitely give it another watch (although I like 25 more because of how special it is for One Piece).
Haha, I'm aware people are extra butthurt about the OP 26 rating. I'll see it again eventually, lol.
@@chelzorthedestroyer You definitely should ! It's directed by Megumi Ishitani, she's an absolute genius director, most of the best One Piece episodes are directed by her aswell. She is still fairly young, aswell. I normally don't care too much about directors, but she's definitely an exception.
Then, memories will rush through your head, and the emotions when you're watching it 😊
We shall see, lol.
I LOVED Cyborg 009! Wish we had the whole series in serviceable quality.
It's a classic ^_^
FYI “We Go” is done by the same singer as “We Are”
Written by him as well if I recall correctly.
I am aware. Thank you.
Bro really said '''Lol, Spanish Subs'' 💀😭😭
It's from a list people react to, haha.
@@chelzorthedestroyer that was actually portuguese brazilian subs
@@chelzorthedestroyer That's brazilian portuguese, not spanish
@@marirezende8478 let her alone, is a vtuber, we all know that means she has no brain (saludos desde Chile xd)
See this is why I love discussion. The list has similarities and vast differences from my own but honestly everyone has a opinion no matter if others' find it valid or not. Is it criminal to put Op 20 on C? Yes! Does it mean you are a Monster? Maybe? Though all is forgiven for the only correct opinion & phenomenal reaction of The Peak OP 25. I respect your list and fresh input regardless and had fun watching you struggle as we all have to do similar rankings especially when it comes to an Epic Odyssey such as One Piece. Honestly though great video and you got yourself a sub my good woman. I wish you the best of luck on the rabbit hole addiction that is One Piece and hopefully be there to witness majority of it :).
Aww thank you. I will coast along on my pirate adventure!
@@chelzorthedestroyer already binging your content and am excited for your journey my good fellow :)
im a fan and hope you join too, we all have a different taste of course but on my own opinions one piece has a broad range for an anime thats why it has many fans too
edit: yeah, i flinch when opening 26 got graded but hope you enjoying some of it at least xD
Y'all act like I put it in F. B is good lol. Thanks, I'm watching a long.
Actually Kaze wo sagashite the opening 12 and the opening 13 is song for luffy that's why this song is very good if they have subtitles impeldown and marineford arc :(
I'm afraid I'm not that far in yet.
Don't worry you will appreciate that 2 songs soon just enjoy your journey
OP 25 is my absolute favorite. It feels like I was just waiting for it's placement and didn't care for anything else lol
It's funny that you say number 25 gives you feelings of hope and makes you feel good. If only you knew what luffy truly is then it would make complete sense to that feeling. Long story short, he is the reincarnation of hope, happiness and freedom.
Well the song hit that way.
The One Price rap deserves SSS Teir. Classic nostalgia
Hahaha, go ahead and give it that score FalcomNPC
Wow, I'm shocked that everyone has such different tastes. I hope you may enjoy a few songs in one piece after watching all it~
Art and taste will always be relative ^_^
Every time I hear the first 4 Japanese One Piece Intros, I start thinking and singing the German Intros because they were my childhood 😆
Oh! Gutentag!!!! My Editor lived in Germany as a kid haha.
@@chelzorthedestroyer Guten Tag 😄 If your Editor is a 90's Kid like me or was born in the fortunes times where RTL2 was still running good Anime shows, I bet he would get some kind of nostalgic reaction from German Intros 😁If you ever get the chance to listen to a German Anime Intro, you should do it 🙂

Again, sorry if someone has told you, but I just wanted to clear that up (ik this is a blind viewing so I am not mad you found that weird) SPOILERS BELOW SO DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED:
The guy at the end of the opening (kozuki momonosuke, the dude who shed a tear btw) was the one writing the events down in the book, which is shown at the beginning of OP 25 which his father (kozuki oden) did after his travel with (VERY IMPORTANT PIRATE) so it feels fitting that his son did that too. ESPECIALLY AFTER WHAT HAPPENED IN WANO like yikes he went through some shit. iykyk.
Well I can't read your spoilers (though even if I did, I probably won't remember cause I have a goldfish brain, lol). Thanks for labeling it.

29:30 at this time, i finally placed why i love this opening so much. It reminds me of Nysnch and early 2000s pop from nickelodeon lol
Get you them Nickelodeon Pop vibes! lol
One Piece is way above being just a fighting/shounen anime. No you cannot classify it just under that genre anymore. That's why so many I believe there is need for any fixed expectations of a vibe from the openings. They can be varied. ( I loved OP 12 by the way, more so because of the context)
SuperPowers is a song that becomes better when you know the translation of the lyrics
There was only like 1 opening that I didn’t like, I think the rest are either S tier or A tier, I am also a firm believer that the context of the arcs helped me like them WAY more than I thought it would, there’s also afew “grow on you” openings like the “over the top” opening, I didn’t like it at all until I watched in more during the episodes and now it’s one of my top 7 out of all of them😂😂
Haha context does help, though I went by feels/the music.

Enjoy the destruction my vibes have wrought.
"It does not fit" bro its a war arc, and here is happy music 😂 in a war
