Mine arrives tomorrow. Can't wait!
Have fun together!
Just bought mine, great well thought out product, thank you 😀
Does this fit well on the z6ii or will there be a different bracket needed?
Yes, it does fit on the Z6 II and Z7 II. The folks at Nikon School UK and Nikon US have both checked it with the new models.
@@3leggedthing Thanks, I will order one.
I have the capture plate for the peak design capture clip v3.
Could I attach the plate to the bottom of this l bracket instead of getting the Ellie PD bracket?
There is a 1/4" thread in the bottom of the Zelda bracket, but it might not be as stable a solution as the Ellie PD footing. That really depends on the length of the camera screw and how well it's tightened into place.
Yeah, I’m starting to look at this... think of shooting vertically for Instagram/TikTok video... this still doesn’t solve my problem because I keep the camera in an (overpriced) 8Sinn cage so I’m actually thinking of buying a 2nd Z6 just for Portrait shots... but - keeping FTZ on is critical because I use manual lenses almost exclusively...
It does work with the FTZ in place.
Not all features explained. Im still wondering what the hell those 3 tiny screws on the bracket are for
Hi Chris, they're security screws, in case you don't fully tighten the clamp on your tripod, they're designed to stop the camera and bracket from sliding out of the clamp sideways.
I would love one for the Z50 that I can use the FTZ lens adapter
This is the L-bracket for Nikon Z5, 6, and 7. With the Z50 Bracket, Zayla, Unfortunately, because the body of the Z50 camera is so slim at the base, it's not possible to get enough clearance from the foot of the FTZ for the L-bracket to fit into a clamp.
@@3leggedthinghi, can the zayla bracket accommodate with the ftz iI adaptor or is that still a no?
@@druggy216 Zayla on z50 using the mk2 adapter will work as the foot has been removed on the adapter
Is it available in Canada?
