You’re right. The live performance is from 1990 (Like you say), Rust in Peace was released in that year, And was the first one with Marty (Friedman) on lead guitar.

The musicianship of the band is incredible and Dave's solos impressive
as incredible as dave is and i can't stress it enough he is so fucking incredible you can't forget about people like marty and kiko who are music theory solo lords
His solos are actually simple. No match for Poland's or Marty's.

This is literally my favorite Megadeth song. The entire KIMB is a masterpiece, sucks he doesn't play much of it live anymore, if any. This song is so underrated

Man, the bass lines on that album are incredible. I don't think Jr. gets nearly enough credit. Now most everyone only knows him for noodling his D string.

First album is heavily underrated. Looking down the cross/chosen ones are obscenely good if you can get over Dave's weird phase
It's a shame there are no too many good quality lives of this song from the 90's more than this one, and, since is a song Dave may not sing again because of the high notes or the lyrics, there is no live of this song in the modern era. Still, Skull Beneath the Skin is such a masterpiece from KIMB, together with Looking Down the Cross and Last Rites/Loved to Deth.
Good Mourning/Black Friday is a song you should make a video about it, the intro has so much stuff going on that will blow your mind.

Dave’s first two albums were so good and raw. The rhythm guitar tracks are actually the tighter on the album peace sells compared to rust in peace. I’m a big fan of Dave’s early stuff especially when played live with the peace sell’s lineup, they were untouchable when they weren’t too messed to play
Killing Is My Business is such an underrated album. Could you do Looking Down the Cross next??

Killing is my Business is my favorite Megadeth album. It's raw, it's short and sweet; all the songs and riffs are fun and memorable. Rust in Peace and Peace Sells aren't far behind though.

Wow.. James making fun of Dave’s voice in that one clip was really on point.. his voice is my mom after smoking 3 packs of Virginia slims back to back with a respiratory/sinus infection. I once tweeted Dave years ago asking “if he missed his days in Metallica” he did not take kindly to that and tweeted back to ask him wide questions if I’m gonna ask any at all lol
His voice is hit or miss live, as the show goes on ,even on early shows, his voice just breaks into nasal infested screeching with every decade but tbh, i wouldnt have it any other way lmao and i think that in 1990 he still smoked cigarettes, while getting clean off of everything else.
But it is true, someone with a better trained singing voice would have added more flavour live.

Poland had the first 3 solos on rattlehead , the last solo on the song kill ing is my business and the guitar work on the these boots cover and every other solo on the first record is Dave's

As an engineer, I have to say it would be impossible to install the rivets depicted on the eye plate. The rivets shown in the album cover are solid rivets. They would have to be compressed from both sides (the head side and the tail side), and a closed skull would not have access to the tail side for the solid rivet installation tool.
This is a case where (I'm sorry to torture you with such a HORRIBLE pun) it would be necessary to use BLIND rivets instead.

I think Beginning Of Sorrow is the darkest Megadeth song, actual chills. Family Tree is about children raped by their parents, also very disturbing.

I always felt like Metallica was inspired by Vic when they wrote ‘One’, about being totally sensory deprived.
Which also makes sense not just because of the content of the lyrics, but also Metallica’s tendency to draw ideas from Dave.

Dave is a monster, I mean his voice is much worse now, and he's not the best lead guitar by no stretch of the imagination... But on rhythm+singing he's a machine, and he writes some cool, interesting and catchy riffs. I feel like out of all the "legacy" thrash bands, Megadeth is the best, also because Dave's always been good at choosing the right musicians to complement his songwriting and the feel of the band.
