I've been watching your covers for a while now and you've inspired me a lot. I've been doing a few covers lately. I have a question, do you need a licence to post guitar covers due to copyrights? Or are we allowed to just post them? I've read your description and I see that you pulled up the article. I'm guessingredients as long as you state that all the rights belongs to the artist you're good to post your cover? If any one knows, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
Thanks dude! Well, this mostly depends on the copyright holders (meaning the record label/band etc whoever it may be). It doesn't really matter whether you state that the rights do not belong to you or not. If they want they can block it anyway. It honestly doesn't really mean anything. My videos are not monetized. I'm not making any money off of them, so the copyright owners just claim my videos but they don't take them down. They put ads on it etc. If my videos were monetized and I was making money off of them then I think that would be a different story. I believe that way, videos get taken down way more easily. But then again it's all up to the copyright owners. From personal experience, certain labels are more cool than others when it comes down to those kind of things. The newer a song is the most likely it is to be blocked as well. The older it is, the more likely it won't. I haven't got too much into this whole copyright thing 'cause I don't really care to be honest, I just make these covers for my own pleasure so if a cover gets taken down, I couldn't really care less. But this is what I know, if someone knows better feel free to answer. But yeah, I hope this helps!

Yeap! Didn't see that coming this soon but eventually most bands tune down just a bit, especially live as they get older, I think they also played some tracks that were originally in drop c, in drop b live recently as well.

The video plays fine on PC, it's been claimed by Spinefarm Records so it's blocked in Germany and also unavailable in some devices like mobile phones etc, whick is pretty common for newer songs, most record labels do this. Sucks though.
