Nicest guy ever. I was framing a custom home out in Hereford AZ when I looked over at the neighbor. The guy was bailing hay and from where I was he was huge and very intimidating. The homeowner whose house we were framing showed up and I had a couple questions for him regarding some changes that were made. He was talking to the huge guy bailing hay so I decided to approach them. Turns out the neighbor bailing hay was Don Fry. Super friendly guy. I talked to him shortly after he lost the title to Mark Coleman. He said he was moving to Tucson and headed to Japan to fight. I still see him from time to time here in town. Super nice guy, very approachable and easy to have a conversation with.
Dude- Rick Rude is most underrated wrestler in history in my opinion (also apparently a good dude)- but despite being a huge Rude and Frye fan I never made this connection- thank you,
Nah, I rather have more men (and women) who discover cures against diseases, find new energy sources, help us understand the world. If your defining quality is to to unleash violence on your opponents with total disregard for your own well-being... you probably don't want too many of such men around.
If you want to see Don Frye at his best, watch UFC Ultimate Ultimate 1996 tournament. Frye vs Tank Abbott was the final but both Frye and Tank showed how great they were in each fight up to the final. In my opinion it's the most entertaining ufc event ever
Don Frye is what every American man should strive to be i really wish he got the praise an respect he deserves with current generation and he deserved to get paid as much as the current fighters if not more i hope hes at least financial secure and happy in his life this man literally fought 3 times in one night essentially all in a row and with no rules pretty much he fought more in one night than the big names today do in a year or more he paved the way for these sissy fighters to make millions. Theres still some worriors today but none can compare to the legendary Don Frye great video man!
Don Frye and Dan Severn's Toxic Masculinity podcast is hilarious, his voice has aged like fine wine, or coarse gravel, depending on how you look at it haha
Ramirez was hyped as having a 400-0 record and looked like a special needs dude. He was cannon fodder. Took one jab/hook and folded faster than if it was laundry day.
Man! I just watched a video on "Dennis the Terminator'" and he looked like Darun from Street Fitghter EX, and now this guy really look like he could be Darun!
Don Frye, one of the toughest human beings to walk on this planet.
Give me Don Frye, Mark Coleman & Dan Henderson in a dark alley
Sakuraba should also be mentioned in this discussion
@@stanleychristopher6023 yeah Sakuraba was a special one too.
@@stanleychristopher6023 Dan Henderson could possibly be tossed in that lot.
@@stanleychristopher6023 when the wrestlers are down we need a striker.... who we gonna call? CRO COP
Excellent video. When Don Frye was born, the doctor said, "Its a man!"

Not only is it a man but it's a man with a stash.

That's awesome. Thanks for sharing!
He seems like the type of guy who you could have a long winded conversation or just sit having some beers at a fire or something else like that
Using super as an adverb is just pathetic, bud. It’s all a couple _of_
Says the guy who can't finish a senten..
If time travel is ever possible Don Frye v Rick Rude in a coliseum With their dad Tom Selleck as the commentator and Freddie Mercury as the ref.

"The American flag... you don't hang it over your shoulder like a damned hippy... you make it into underwear!" -Don
Don Frye's mustache is Teflon coated and fire resistant.
My very first favorite fighter in MMA. He was a complete fighter with excellent standup and very good wrestling.

Another thing, the amount of injuries those fighters dealt with early on and still fought. It was the shamrock fight for me
Only if today's generation had 10% of Don's manliness, we would not be in the death spiral we are in today!
everytime don frye talks an eagle is born
Awesome!!
These guys are under appreciated

Best Frye highlight video I've seen!
Thank you!!
Don Fry.......best fighter!!!!!
Thats the highlights should be like. No stupid music and no long training clips in it. Just moments from interviews and ass kicking. Good job
If scientists tested Don Frye's mustache, they would realize it is stronger than kevlar.

Tank is amazing too
Fry's upper body is fantastic. When he holds his arms out wide they look like cables from a suspension bridge. His back looks like a concrete pylon.
Pure Americana!
