Have you heard Joe Rogan's new song "Elk Meat & DMT"
It's hilarious!
Lol 😂. After they listen to Don Frye they immediately hit Pubity, get a deeper voice and grow a moustache.
This was awesome, this felt like Joe talking to his Grandpa. The gentle love and respect here is just such good vibes.
Joe is only 2 years younger 🤣
How can you not love and have massive respect to this living Legend?!
@@jp15001 Damn don didnot age gracfully
@@AJ-qq7cg I bet he could still whip Joes ass and he has more hair too…
@@AJ-qq7cg he has always looked older than he really was haha
Joe: “hey don, what time is it?”
Don: proceeds to describe how to make a clock
He sounds EXACTLY the way he looks.
At last, the legend of the UFC, the hall-of-famer, the man himself, Don Frye has made it to the JRE show. Gentleman, fans of martial arts all over the World, this is a lucky day for us all.
Joe- “what’s harder restraining people or horse shoeing”
Don- “I broke a kids arms once”
Don Frye is better than Tito Ortiz, yet gets less publicity.
😭😭😭😭
It’s still unknown how many horse legs he broke
@@dinomoviesnstuff Ortiz is first class dumb
I hadn't made it to that part of the video when I read your comment. I thought it was funny, but silly. Then it actually happened. Hilarious
If he woulda asked how he started being a farrier, he woulda went right into how he started in UFC. Legend.
😂 fact
Title should be "Everything Don Frye Did Before He Came to the UFC"
Legend has it that till this day, nobody knows how he got into UFC!
Not even Don!
Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
back in the 90's guys like this weren't an endangered species
what do you mean ?

Don is 1 of the biggest influences in my life. Right up there with Nigel Benn. Legends!
Don Frye should do Steve-O's podcast. That would sound constipating in stereo.
Hahahahahahhah1 LMAO

lmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaao
Hahahaha
🤣
I'm happy Don's relatively healthier now and is able to share stories on long format. Last couple news of him was he was having it rough in hospitals and recovery. Thank you champ.
compared to yoshihiro... RIP brother
Don Frye is god-tier legend in MMA. To this day, he had the most entertaining fight I ever saw with that giant blond Japanese dude where they just grabbed each other's heads and pounded away.🤣🤣
That was the best!
@Aleks Stanislavov Takayama broke his neck and is substantially paralyzed. Really sad.
@@timharper4246 I heard about that. Real sad. Apparently he was attempting a sunset flip at 50yrs old.
RIght here, brother ua-cam.com/video/le69DBh7YwY/v-deo.html Manhood FIght
Dudes were just unloading like they do in the WWF WWE WCW EXCEPT THEY WERE LANDING BOMBS! Dude was even getting kicks into Don's Mid section and hurt him but his Heart got him through but that Japanese dude was one tough beast no doubt! mad respect for them both after that. both of them had eyes about blasted and swole shut! lol SOME DUDES MADE OF IRON! HE AND RICK RUDE COULD BE BROTHERS! THAT STASH ADDS 2000 HORSE POWER!
Listening on the whole interview on Spotify you find out don has had a stroke. Really struggled through parts. Between that and all his injuries it's a miracle he's alive. Tough tough man
A stroke is just a warm up for Don!
I think he had a stroke in this interview.
we dont talk about spo- - - - in these comment sections, plz respect our mourning
Broke my fucking heart at times. True mans man
That dude needs to be on television. He’s a character all developed
Sully from Uncharted
Well he was in a movie if u wanna count that
@@Lollol-wy9vx Yeah he played the captain of the Gotengo in Godzilla Final Wars!
This guy reminds me of every commercial fisherman i met as a kid growing up. The stories never get old. The stories play like a movie in my head. Don fry is a good guy until you give him a reason not to be. Respectable old school kind of man.
I would love to just sit down with Don and enjoy hearing his stories with that old school demeanor! He reminds me a lot of my late dad! So straight forward!
I like how Don Frye took the question about getting to the UFC as what are all the jobs he did.
Yup.....except for the job of fighting in the UFC.
Hilarious
@@michaelneilson977 UFC screwed him so he isn't giving them the time of day and I don't blame him. He hates Dana specifically for how he treats and pays fighters and won't acknowledge him or his business
This dude needs to get into voice acting. He's be the perfect voice for a cartoon villain/strong man.
he really would! I can picture him doing some wierd characters on rick and morty
Or some character on The Regular Show...
He actually got into acting and plays those kinds of character haha
Don: "OK, how do you want me to make my voice sound?"
Show producer: "Uhhh.....just read the lines in your normal voice" 😂
He’s been in several movies and has done voice overs
Tony: “hold on brother Don is talking “
I like this one good job
James
He use to hang out with Meng/Haku. As tough as Don was and is, he stated that Haku was the man. Don said he was on scary, scary individual. Those two hanging out would have been something. I love Don, a mans man and tough as nails. We need more Dons right about now
Can we just talk about how polite this dude is though? Like he is the living embodiment of testosterone but he still saying " Yes sir " no sir " and can I please borrow your lighter ". That's what a real man is
exactly
Amen!
Talk softly ,carry a big stick. Don doesn't need a stick.
Don’s voice sounds exactly how you’d imagine: pure masculinity and rigidity😂
Rumor has it that Jon Jones slightly brushes past him before fights.
It seems like anyone who ever pro wrestled gets this voice later on

I met Don in Bisbee, AZ in 1992-93 where he was a firefighter/EMT. I was a probation officer and we had probationers doing community work service at the fire department and that's where I met him. He was a beast but very cool.
Popular Opinion: Every single one of ya'll agrees that Don Frye made our day better:
@Jarrod Crail it’s worth it. I miss the comments from UA-cam but Joe’s podcast is there plus others & it’s the best music app in my opinion
My thoughts exactly
@Jarrod Crail 😂
Holy shit very true
Constipated you’re whole life = Don Fryes voice
What an honor to meet Don Frye. The man helped build the ufc. One of the hardest hitting fighters I’ve ever seen.
Yeah when he dropped Shamrock with a left, you could tell by the look on Ken's face...like WTF?
He is a beast for sure. I don't know about hardest hitting though. Just re-watched his fight with Tank Abbott and although he pulled out a submission, he definitely lost the "stand and bang" they engaged in. His face was a bloody mess and Tank walked away pissed looking unscathed. Apparently, his older brother told him before the fight not to exchange punches with Tank, but he didn't listen.
I heard Testosterone once tested positive for Don Frye.
Don shows up at USADA'S house at 6 in the morning.
