The employee probably likes watching Hogan get taken down a peg or two having to be surrounded by Hogan merch all day. That's why he was watching Blunders.
Your videos inspired me to try to get back into watching WWE, used to watch religiously in the 80s and 90s through the end of the War. Also lived in Philly during ECW's heyday so got to see them on the local paid programming station from the start. However... today's wrestling is so sanitized, shiny and bright. Every color is "electric". Electric blue, yellow, green, red, pink, purple. And the amount of makeup everyone wears, guys and girls. They all look orange, and they all look the same. Miss the pyro too. Oh well, these videos bring me back, appreciate the work you do.
I very much remember watching this episode of Nitro. Not only because I remember Goldberg Winning the the US title, but I also remember Jerco and that picture of Dean. This was a long time ago, and I was young. So I had breaks where I couldn't afford cable and didn't watch wrestling. This was one of the good times. I think I had been watching for at least a few weeks before this because I know I popped for Goldberg and I wouldn't have if this was my first Nitro in six months or something.
Ok I know it was weird for you but I can't stop smiling at the fact that one of your videos were playing in Hogan's Beach Shop while you were there. The hulkster literally putting you over, brother!
Absolutely my favorite wrestling channel. Been following since day one! Glad you had a break … sorry it happened that way. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Much love my friend.
This April 20th match between Faarooq & Kama Mustafa was the first time Kama was referred to as 'The Godfather'. By Jim Ross on commentary: "Kama...the Godfather...the Godfather of the Nation."
I could’ve sworn Raven vs Goldberg was the main event of that episode of Nitro. I’m having a Mandela effect moment. The lack of depth hurt the WWE at the time so they had to turn Foley heel. If they hadn’t screwed up Vader he could’ve been a legitimate opponent for Austin in 98.
This show is a rollecoaster of emotions. You gonna hit me with the long awaited return of the Big Bratwurst only to reveal that I'll have to wait another week for his actual return but then you follow it up with the Muffuger himself Steve Blackman to lift up my spirits again. They don't make television like this anymore folks, this is peak Monday Night War content.
I hope us in Orlando treated you right bro. Been watching since day I seen your vid on JYD. Love this channel man! It's been a great trip down memory lane because of you! Keep doing big things!
Hope you get better soon despite the not so enjoyable vacation. One of the biggest returns, if not the biggest, of 2022 on the last week of the year! My body is ready for the Big Bratwurst.
The Nitro main event was chaotic, with the multi-person run-ins. It also showed how pathetically limited Hogan's move-set was: he's up there with Nash. Also, not only does Hogan *rarely* lose clean, he got the damn belt back *again*. You know, Hogan undermined Savage's win at WW3 for the title, and now he takes the belt away from Savage. Macho even had it worse than Luger with his win a week before Road Wild 1997 (again over Hogan). Luger's reign lasted a week, while Savage's lasted a day. The detailed look over these years of Nitro really solidifies my intense dislike for Hogan. He really did seem to treat WCW, and specifically the world title, as his personal plaything. This takes nothing away from Wrestling Bios: these videos are detailed, entertaining and very funny. The running jokes and memes are fantastic
Big brotwurst is coming? Next Thursday is gonna be all Wright! Sorry your break wasn't so great, but must have been crazy seeing your video playing at Hogan's shop. Welcome back brother!
When you were paying for your stuff you should have just said "that doesn't work for me brother " and if they said anything just tell them you know Steve Mufuggin Blackman
I'm both saddened to have been spoiled by this comment yet thankful to know the Bratwurst Shortage is coming to an end Edit: I see the episode spoils it anyway so nevermind
Hey Bud, just to let you know, you’re forever part of Wrestling culture with the ‘Reliving the War’ series. It is by far the best wrestling series of this modern era…
Goldberg vs. Raven is a classic! That pop for the spear was insane! Your Hogan's Beach Shop story is great! It's good to have you back with RTW, Wrestling Bios!
When that glorious angel-voiced woman was introduced to our lives, I was hopeful that she'd be the intro for every 2 Cold Scorpio segment. This has been two weeks of bliss. I only wish that she had done a similar song for "Everybody here comes Stone Cold Steve Austin." Congrats on seeing your work being appreciated in the wild! Hope you're on the mend, and happy holidays to all!
Perfect! I had to have a catheter put in because my kidneys aren't doing very good. Something to watch to take away some of my pain mentally by watching this!
@@TheIronLung420 be careful up there dude! Damn artic blast is coming our way. I seen 30 below 0 wind chills! I really appreciate the comments. I have been extremely down all day. I got 6 weeks with this catheter and see what happens after that. ✊️
Chris Jericho was an amazing and Very entertaining Heel in WCW this series is awesome to watch every Thursday Raw was awesome during the Attitude Era the Monday Night Wars were awesome I wish I was alive during that time period.
Who would have thought the guy spraying everyone with a super soaker on live television would be running the biggest wrestling company 24 years later, watching this series really does bring into perspective how those guys evolved in the business, HHH running WWE, Jeff Jarrett building not 1, not 2, but 3 promotions, Rock becoming one of the biggest names in Hollywood, Steve Muffing Blackman saving the world in 2012.
That must have been a trip to have your video playing in Hogan's shop. Apparently Wrestling bios works for the Hulkster brother. Congrats on all your success man.
Looking forward to the return of Saturday Wright Fever next week and also looking forward to your WWF Unforgiven PPV review on Christmas Day. What a good Christmas present to everyone who watches Reliving the War.
Shame Savage got injured around this time drops the title back to Hogan and has to take time off soon really enjoyed his intense unpredictable persona and the energy he brought on Nitro appreciate you putting on content while being sick get well soon champ.
Dude! Having your video playing in Hogan’s Beach Shop is some serious validation! Congrats on all the continued success! Well-deserved.
The employee probably likes watching Hogan get taken down a peg or two having to be surrounded by Hogan merch all day. That's why he was watching Blunders.
Doesn't work for me brother!
And hope you feel better soon, brother. Got a blocked ear myself from a bit of flu.
Is that the same shop Cornette was talking about in his podcast? The one with crazy, anti-mask shopkeeper?
@@Siarawaszympanemjest people are still wearing masks? In Florida? Crazy.
I'm still so happy for how much this channel has grown! I remember it being only bios n the occasional ppv. Way to go man, welcome back!
this is the first raw i remember watching
WCW genuinely had no idea what the hell to do with Bret.
Just let him be a good guy having good matches. It was so simple.
The Nation theme is my ringtone! No one's ever recognised it when I get rang when I'm out and about haha
The tough part would be recognising whose theme might say "We are the Nation, of Domination"
The best thing on UA-cam is Reliving the War. Thanks for your hard work.

Literally watching this video on 20th April 2024 😂
Exactly 26 years after these episodes of Raw and Nitro were aired

Merry Christmas dude, you're the best UA-cam wrestling channel fo sho
Making Hogan a heel was a genius move and it was what had WCW winning for a while

A Merry Bios to all this holiday Season! Hope everyone spends all their extra time hiding out on with the best YT Channel there is!
Savage wrestled this main event with a legit torn ACL. Fair effort.

The emergence of different nWo factions was necessary since the idea was getting old.
To think I was vacationing in Orlando at the exact same time as you. I wonder if I brushed by greatness and didn't even know it.
Double hand mafuggin chop is insanity 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hope us in Orlando treated you right bro. Been watching since day I seen your vid on JYD. Love this channel man! It's been a great trip down memory lane because of you! Keep doing big things!
Did you talk to the owner of Hogan's Beach Shop? He's supposed to be somewhat of a character 🤣
Thanks for making these videos. I appreciate your hard work.
37:39 I literally blinked and missed it😆
“Flash Funk & 2 Cold Scorpio” haha
Man we missed you
The 2 cold Scorpio song is amazing
I pop like CRAZY for 2 Cold Scorpio’s intro.
🎶”Y’EVERYBODY, HERE COMES 2 COLD SCORPIO!!!”🎶
Flash funk and too cold scorpio tagging together wow lol
Yeah, watching LOD lose so many matches was really weird for me too. No passing of the torch, more like the LOD getting burned to put over the NAO
LOD pass the torch? They won't even sell piledrivers.
Just for the record, I got 1 lava lamp, but no inflatable furniture...
Was honestly wondering where Alex Wright had been if he had been injured haha thanks for clearing that up
You mean “the Bootyman delivered a nick-breaker to Patrick.”
just realised how much Chris Hemsworth now looks like Billy Gunn if he was to shave his beard.
WCW's main event feature old WWF guys.
Hope you get better soon despite the not so enjoyable vacation.
One of the biggest returns, if not the biggest, of 2022 on the last week of the year! My body is ready for the Big Bratwurst.

you saw wrestling bios on vacation? a biosception.
Flash Funk AND 2 Cold Scorpio in a tag match?!
Several of we the faithful were talking your channel up in a clip from Kevin Nash talking about the legitimacy of Goldberg's streak...
Next week, the return of Saturday Wright Fever!
finger the wazoo killed me lol
Let's gooooo another amazing episode from the goat happy holiday wrestling bios from Florida
Wrestling Bios AND OSW on Christmas night, get the f*** in!
23:46 Flash Funk and Too Cold Scorpio?
Me and my buddies were just as pumped as the crowd when Goldberg won the title a damn good moment.
Nice. To be honest though, I thought the "record" would have been massively more inflated than it actually was.
I've been missing the Strudel that is known as Da Wunderkin!
So... Taker and Kane's parents were buried in a New York area cemetery? That's not anywhere Death Valley!
Happy 420 1998

Goldberg vs. Raven is a classic! That pop for the spear was insane! Your Hogan's Beach Shop story is great! It's good to have you back with RTW, Wrestling Bios!
Man 98 Goldberg and 98 Stonecold was something 🙌🏾
This was probably around the time where the war was at it's peak. WCW had yet to unravel and WWF was getting super-hot.
Those NBA plays offs hit Nitro at the worst time, because after Unforgiven, the WWF storytelling really kicks it up to another level
The return of the Big Bratwurst is easily the best news I've received so far this week.

Also, and perhaps more importantly, the return of the Big Bratwurst
I never understood the Bret hart heel turn that night on nitro I don't even think WCW had any kind of explanation for it still was dumb either way.
Complete waste of his character they didn't have a clue what to do with him it's no wonder he was so miserable over there.
How awesome to discover your own video at Hogan's Surf Shop.

Hey Wrestling Bios, you should have a full compilation of Alex Wright's dance intros/matches. That alone will get millions of views 👍😁

Great initials dude
To be fair to raven he technically wasn't number 75 lol
I wish you’d cut to that Pantera clip when you mentioned Cemetery Gates 😂 - as always, great video!
Honestly, Foley’s heel turn was solely because Austin handpicked him to be his first title defense

Damn Dan Severn theme is so freaking good
I'm sure Dr Death had that same theme
Having Bret assist Hogan made no sense. WCW didn't have a clue how to use him.
Exactly. Bret should've never joined the NWO.
They should’ve been feuding. The history was already there. Vince was right when he told Bret they wouldn’t know what to do with you on wcw
Wait. Goldberg won the U.S. title in his 69th match... on 4/20???
I have no friends or family, so RTW is the closest thing I have this holiday to a gift
