Kane and X-Pac were such an incredible team. It's hard to describe the chemistry they had. They were polar opposites in character, yet it just worked. I feel like Miz and Morrison is one I would add. They were first teamed together as Miz and Johnny Nitro in a random tag team championship battle royal just to fill out numbers, but when both feuded with CM Punk for the ECW title, they really had some amazing chemistry that translated to having their own web series. These two, at this point in their careers, were greater than the sum of their parts as a tag team.
I didn't know that the Miz and Morrison were thrown together, that's how good they turned out. Also, The Dirt Sheet was very fun, even just John Morrison's intros.
Tajiri was a massively underrated worker and always an enjoyable watch. Other teams that worked out great were Owen and Bulldog, Rock and Mankind, Sting and Luger, DiBiase and IRS and my favourite of the lot Austin and Pillman.
Goldust & Booker T RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Matt Riddle) Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) Jeri-Show (Chris Jericho & Big Show) Owen Hart & British Bulldog And possibly the most successful random pairing ever: The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) They were coming off a terrible feud against each other using awful gimmicks (Jesse James & Rockabilly) and were at risk of career oblivion. They ended up thrown together, and many fans forget they faced a lukewarm reception at first, due to both basically being jokes beforehand. Eventually their act got them a response, and joining DX put them over the top.
Technically, the new day was a random pairing. Kofi and Big E were already established mid carders but for Xavier Woods he was a bonafide jobber in 2014
The bar was fantastic, but Yoko and owen have always been one of my favorite parings. owens speed and move set blended with the pure power and size of yoko made them a nearly unstopable force
The Tag Team of the 90's. From Hollywood, California... Stunning Steve Austin, Flying Brian Pillman... The Hollywood Blondes. In my mind, the ultimate "here are two guys doing nothing, let's pair them up" team and they were a shooting star tag team. They proved to be too popular and were squashed for it since the old guard didn't like it...
Yokozuna was slowing down at that time because he kept gaining weight which stressed his heart and lungs. (At a time when WWF wanted him to lose some weight to be in better cardiovascular condition.)
I never said they didn't team up before TNA, I said they were rivals on the Indie scene, both can be true ;) Super jealous of seeing them live though, I'd have loved that
@@TheWrestlingHideout They were the big draw had tag and single's titles. Storm threatened to slap me so I blew him a kiss. I'm huge so many of the wrestlers came at me. great show for how small it was. 3-4 hundred tops. My guess is they became a team after the feud in indies but it was well before TNA.
Booker T and Goldust
They so very nearly made this first list
Booker T dressed as a lumberjack lives rent free in my head lol

They might…. Just might… be on list 2 😉

Some of these are in part 2 for sure 😉
Goldust & Booker T
RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Matt Riddle)
Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan)
Jeri-Show (Chris Jericho & Big Show)
Owen Hart & British Bulldog
And possibly the most successful random pairing ever:
The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn)

A lot of these are already on part 2 😉

This is a great point
Good one bro. Please add a little background music to the video in future
Thanks for the suggestion!
@@TheWrestlingHideout do you. not everything has to be the same on here!
Leave it as is. Don't need music. Separate yourself from everyone else@@TheWrestlingHideout
@@paulwatson3025exactly, I agree
No music it is then, thanks for the support guys!
New context creator. Great video. I'll be back for more, keep it up 👌🏻
Thank you!
What a great video.
Thank you!
Kane and Daniel Bryan aka Team Hell No, Rock and Sock Connection, Sting and Abyss in TNA, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens…
Some great ones here
Roode and Ziggler was also a pretty good throw together team too.
Ohh great shout!
The bar was fantastic, but Yoko and owen have always been one of my favorite parings. owens speed and move set blended with the pure power and size of yoko made them a nearly unstopable force
Absolutely all of this
Amw were dope
So good dude
Bookdust (Goldust & Booker T) was the greatest random tag team of all time and you can’t change my mind.
Honestly wouldn't try to, valid choice
Great vid. Hope there’s a part 2. The Real Americans are an underrated random great team
Already working on it 😉
Dirty Heels who were Bobby Roode and Austin Aries in TNA
Another solid shout!
I can't believe you didn't include Booker T and Goldust, that's literally the first team I thought of when I saw the title
They very very nearly made this first list
The Bar were an awesome tag team
One of the best recent WWE ones
Sonny was smoking back in the days... Its a shane she ended up looking like Greg "The Hamner" Valentine. 😂😂
😂😂😂😂
This might be my favourite comment so far
@@TheWrestlingHideout 🤣🤣🤣🤣
BEER!
MONEY!
Rock and Sock connection
An amazing team
The New Age Outlaws!!! How could you not include them???
Gotta save some well known ones for the second video ;)
I love that you just have Copyright WWE in the corner cos they're probably the only company that'll kick off
New Japan are the worst, but better safe than sorry 😂

Honestly there a team that doesn’t get talked about enough
I was there in Baltimore when chavo tore his bisep. It was a dark match
Ohh no way?
Yokozuna was slowing down at that time because he kept gaining weight which stressed his heart and lungs. (At a time when WWF wanted him to lose some weight to be in better cardiovascular condition.)
I believe it's Bruce Prichard that tells the story of them sending Yoko to a university to help him lose weight and he just refused or something
Miz and Morrison are a contender
List 2 😉
I feel like most of this list could just be Kane and all of his odd pairings over the years.
Kane & Hurricane almost made the list
With Team Hell No, and the two included here, that's four. Hes like the master at teaming with cruiserweights
Dude Love and Austin
Rock and sock
BookerT and Goldust
Booker T & Goldust so nearly made this first list
ftr in nxt, magnus & joe, american alpha again on nxt
American Alpha... Gone too soon
No Hollywood blondes huh?? Stunning Steve Austin and Flyin Bryan Pillman 🤷🏽♂️
Gotta save something for video 2, check out our list from last week for some Hollywood Blondes action 😉
Mikey whipwreck and Cactus Jack ?
A great early ECW team
Rock and Sock #1
I feel like everyone expected that to be great though, but they might be on list 2 ;)
Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit
Another solid choice
So AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels wasn’t out here? Lol don’t do my guys like that fam!!!!!
I loved Styles & Daniels as a team, there match with AMW is one of my all time favourites
@@TheWrestlingHideout I had two of my all time favorite wrestlers on ONE team?! My boy I was eating good back in middle school 😂😂😂.
I saw Harris and storm teaming in indies (WSW)- Arizona couple years before TNA existed. got that one wrong
I never said they didn't team up before TNA, I said they were rivals on the Indie scene, both can be true ;)

The Miz and R Truth.
The attack after the hell in the cell still sticks in my head
I love BEER MONEY
BEER MONEY
Kenny Omega and Adam Paige?
They were one of the first teams I wrote down, but AEW don’t like you using photos of there stuff 🙄
Stephanie
I had to 😂
New age outlaws?
More than 1 list ;)
Team Hell No
A common suggestion in the comment section it seems
Stop smacking your lips or whatever you where doing.
You are the first person across 2 videos and 1000’s of views to mention this, so what are you talking about?
@@TheWrestlingHideoutI hear what he’s talking about, but I don’t find it a problem
