Hi Sir, I'm a mature student from college who is retaking GCSE English alongside a L3 Access course to go to Univeristy this September. Aare you 100 percent sure, we don't need to track through the whole source and talk about beginning, middle and End, or write 5 PRETZEL Paragraphs using the story mountain? The way this question is worded, I feel this is what I might be asked to do. Please let me know, I have this paper 1 exam next Thursday at 9:30 in the morning. I'm waiting to hear back from you.
As i have my gcse I personally think that you should only do 3 pretezel parsgraphs one in the beg mid and end as it does link to the whole source but also in the 3 pretezel paragraphs add ur sturucture techniques and dont forget its only 8 marks it just need depth of explanation and the effect just focus on these
My teacher also recommended 2 paragraphs if that helps
5 is much too much for 8 marks. That's more than you write for an entire essay in english literature which is worth 30 marks
