Oh man, this has great potential for cosplay and such uses even in it's liquid form. You can use it to represent Mercury and other sci-fi metallic elements.
I'm thinking to use it for LARP armour. Some HEMA manufacturers are starting to make polycarb armor plates for fencing that would be easily altered over.

When you were pouring Mirror into the lid, I instantly thought about that thermometer. You really have made something beautiful! I can't wait to order this!
Just bought some. Hope it works as promised! I know that Black2.0 is the blackest, super matte available. So I'm looking forward to a reflective chrome finish. Note: ( I realize it must be used on the smoothest possible, sealed surface to effect a proper, chrome illusion)
Awesome! I've shared this with the Nissan Figaro owners club. We're always looking for ways to re-chrome little interior bits and nobs might even try the front grill. Thanks Stuart and crew ❤️
@@cody5495 as underwhelming as this, sorry, silver paint is, its quite certainly not a scam. i think they tried in a honest way and its not like they are a big company that produces thousands of these. also i doubt there is a 3$ paint out there like this.
I'm wondering if you mixed this with a black acrylic would you be able to get a shiny black surface or would the black just dominate, canceling out the reflective qualities of the chrome?
Daaaaaang, I really need to stop buying so much stuff during this quarantine, but you have made this an impossible task! Just put my order in for this and some of your neon powders.
I would like to see this vs spazix chrome. Also how durable is it ? I find a lot of chromes flake off and aren’t durable. And if you try to put a clear coat over them they lose the effect and become jist greyosh silver. So have you guys figured out a way to stop that? Finally do you have to use it over a gloss black for best result?
I bought an old Georgian style Dollhouse recently which has become my lockdown project, I have a made woman in the attic called Mrs Rochester, Ive made wall paper for it, and I am decorating it circa 18th century Georgian London I was thinking of gilding it but now I am going to paint the exterior in either the mirroriest mirror or the goldest gold I havent decided yet.

I just love that you're creating all these new pigments and paints. I don't create much art these days, but every product you release makes me want to make something. Lit is my favourite so far. Will this mix with lit? If so, what's the result? (Please let it be glow in the dark metallic! )
I would love to use this for cosplay armour! You should also make it in different colors, like gold, bronze, rose gold. And how would it mix or layer with a color shifting pigment or the lit pigment? Could you polish the dried paint for an even more reflective surface? What would putting a gloss or matte coat look like? O the possibilities!!!!!!!! P.S. love the cloud vortex to another dimension idea, so inventive lol.
Can we clear coat it after? Will that make it go hazy? Also can this be used on things that live outdoors? Hence why I’m keen to know if it can be clear coated to be protected.?
I am minuets away from buying a bottle or two for my motorbike forks and front wheel, should I ??? I mean if it all goes wrong I could just sand it back to Aluminium or use Nitro Morse what do you think Stuart John
Wow, this is some Hollywood CGI stuff going here. I haven't seen any paint that was any close to this effect yet :o I wouldn't be surprised if Stuart will produce Lovecraftian color-out-of-space-effect paint next time :D
A bottle arrived yesterday, painted a cockle shell last night - no primer, straight onto the shell as I wanted to see how it coped. I think it worked really well. It kept the texture of the shell and gave it a realistic mirror finish. I can actually see my face in it! Looks great in sunlight. Hello. Amazing work. Just go forward. I like your honest go full emotional enthusiasm. By the way. Is there any way to add color to this paint? What the best method/technique to use it on miniatures to produce the best result?
I'm going to try this on various plain alloy bolts on my motorcycle. I could buy replacement bolts in stainless steel or even chrome plated but if liquid mirror works it would save a lot of time, and money. I'm torn between using a base of black 2 topped with black 3 to provide a contrast to the chrome on the engine casings or using mirror chrome. I know I need a primer or black 2 if going the black 3 route. Do I need a primer if using mirror chrome or will it go straight on. Is it likely to be weather durable?
I have so many ideas already. Will it stick to metal? Can I use this to paint art on my car? And how about glass? Can I paint designs on glass? I want to do a mirror with a decayed head behind it.
Hi stuart love the paint but have you tried it on lead as I make my own fishing spinners out of lead and cant find anything that stays shiny what your thoughts thanks
As it’s such a thin application, how dose it react with clear coat to improve wearability. I can’t see it being very durable by itself, oh good one, painting a jelly bean and it’s toxic, well thought out that, 🤦♂️😳🤣😂🤣
I absolutely love your level of pettiness. Lol! I'll be buying some today for this African mask painting I'm doing.
