Alcohol Ink Painting - Ripples

- Thank you for joining me for another adventure in alcohol ink painting. The techniques used is ripples and I add details by using a brush dipped in isopropyl alcohol. I hope you enjoy.
Materials:
9x12” Nara synthetic paper
Ranger alcohol ink in Indigo, Stream, Pistachio, and Copic Lavender.
99% isopropyl alcohol
Pinata brass
Revlon hair dryer
Small paint brushes
Q-tips

Thank you so much Paula. I am not on Patreon, yet ☺️ I usually use my dryer on low heat - you get different results between using low and cool settings.
Absolutely beautiful! How do you prevent your substrate from buckling?
If you get the thinner paper it will buckle with the heat. You need to use the cool setting on your dryer and keep it moving. I buy the thicker Nara paper and don’t have much of an issue with buckling.
