I'm thinking of getting one. I'm a 60 yr old woman so I don't need anything super speedy. Just comfy & fun that I can take on the flat tow path, parks & around side streets out of traffic.
@@ThisVSThat I have to order a replacement front fork because mine arrived via amazon with a damaged front fork that has bent wheel dropouts and the whole left side of the fork is bent backwards so that the front wheel cannot be installed.
I have been considering an electric commuter, my thing with the kick scooters is can the scooter be kicked once the batteries die? With an ebike you can still pedal when batteries drain.
Help! I love my Eco Smart Metro Electric Scooter, but I can't find anyone to change my rear flat tire- I have called all the Batteries Plus Service Centers and they only do batteries. Bike shops and E-bike shops won't touch it. Any suggestions from anyone would be a blessing!
That sucks, I'm thinking of getting one of these & a flat tire is a concern. Have you tried Fix a Flat? It will pump up your tire & seal the puncture then go to the gas station & fill up the tire to it's rated psi. If that don't work, try taking it to a motorcycle & moped shop. There should be at least some place that will be wiling to help.
i love mine ..im going on two years now..its my two hobby giddyness...one is adventuring..ive gone over a 1000mi...and the other is modding...and upgrading...if i could show you a pic ..you wouldnt believe it...
I'm coming up to my second year of having this scooter I'm also the administrator on the razor EcoSmart page for Facebook you guys should join I love my EcoSmart still going I've clocked 15,000 plus miles
So your saying you road it about 20 1/2 miles each day for 730 days to get 15,000 miles on yours. You must have gotten a good one. The one I bought for our grandkids lasted 1 1/2 summers before the brushes wore out and arked so bad it melted the wires in the motor. They did have fun with it for that summer and a half, they were 7 and 9 years old.
Great review, quick and short, and honestly the price is reasonable. Thanks This vs That for another great review!
Thanks Mr. Stone!

I initially got this because of my wife, she has the same requirements as you.
You did a review and never said how fast it goes nor duration?
18 mph..stock..it makes ya giddy
I bought one followed instructions for charging and all..but went less than 2 1/2 miles and it died...but I love it short distances!
Sorry to hear that. We have had it for sometime now and its still running...

Whats the difference between the hd version and the normal?
Is there an option for headlight?

Yes, the scooter can still be propelled by your feet with a dead battery. The sprocket on the rear wheel hub free wheels just like a bicycle does.
